DeniseKendricks: Good morning please explain how we can get the Credit Bureau report and also the postage stamp required on the contract, thank you. Also the notary seal on the guarantors form can any lawyer with a seal do that? TGM2015 please answer this. Do you have an idea when TS will begin? Do we need to submit all these requirements (especially the guarantor forms) before TS? I think the guarantor requirements are quite stringent. Ha! I also have a somewhat personal question to ask you if you don't mind. Pls respond to my pm. |

Hi guys.
I read in an old thread about a 2 year bond attached to the offer. Does that apply for this recruitment as well?
TGM2015 please educate me. |

timojerry: Good evening peeps and compliments of the season. I just want to know if our CVs would also be used in assessing us cos I just noticed that I made a terrible mistake with the CV I brought. Elders of the house, your opinion is needed.
Thanks and Merry Christmas in advance. I think your cv earned an invite for test. Your test score earned an invite for assessment centre. Now your assessment centre score will earn you an offer letter (Can you shout a loud Amen?) At this stage i dont think your CV affects the outcome. I doubt if humans went through the CVs anyway. They probably used recruitment software for analysis. This is my opinion. Merry Christmas to you too. |

I am against the creation of any whatsapp group.
Why can't we post all information here?
We have all benefited from the information and discussion in older threads. Those threads would bot have existed if the job seekers of that time had created whatsapp groups.
When you create whatsapp groups with so many participants, comments will be flying al over. People will form cliques and form groups within a group. How do you ensure discipline and prevent people from digressing from the purpose for which the group was created?
To emphasize, the most important thing is that jobseekers of the future can benefit from the information in this thread.
Thank you. |

It's also important to contribute during the group exercise. If someone cuts you off, you can politely tell them to please let you finish.
It is well. It will end well for us all. |

adakaibeyamma: Sorry for too many questions, but in your case study group interview last year, did you feel like you contributed more than your peers? If you contribute more than others because your teammates refused to contribute then that is not an issue. But from experience this is not usually the case. There are those who will cut people off in the middle of a sentence, who highjack the discussion, who insist that their point of view is the the ONLY correct one. Some can go ad far as ridiculing other people's point of view. They think that the assessors will perceive them as being smart because their voice is the loudest and they are the most aggressive. Teamwork requires a lot of listening to understand. Most people don't listen to understand. They just want you to finish so they can talk too. The assessors are experienced people. They can see through all that nonsense. |

ThoniaSlim: As a graduate, if you do not know that 'staff' is a collective noun and can be used to describe a single person or group of people, then your education was a failure. I'm not supporting Deuces22 for making it a duty to dig out grammatical blunders from the said video. It was unnecessary. But no, the word staff does not refer to a single person. Saying his education was a failure was rather petty. |

I think they are really doing it in batches. Everyone from my team got their offer letters mail yesterday, we got it at the same time and resumption is in dec
So, I think the analysis of they have sent out mails to those who are successful isn't so correct.

Darlx: Hmmm... Ok at this point, amaaa just say this so that everybody go calm down! (that na even if my info fit make una calm down at this point...lol)
Thing is, from a reliable source, news is EY has sent out success mails to all the successfuls - who are expected to come pick up their offer letters. But then, usually at times like this because of the long wait between AC and now; some people in that pool might have gotten and probably accepted offers from other companies (this can go several ways, one example is a successful has already received another offer that he/she has accepted and the offer has bonds to it... bla bla). Ultimately because of situations like that, some successfuls may reject their offers, some might not even show up or for whatever reason go mute and unreachable. Whatever reason there could be, bottom line is, EY might have to then send some more people success mails to cover up for those voids in the total number they want to employ for the year. That is what is happening right now... so if you get a success mail this period, know that someone pulled out and you're replacing the fellow. Lol.
Another side of the story though is, should any service line for whatever reason then decide within this buffer period that they want more people, HR will still have a pool of people (those they haven't sent regret mails to yet - apparently, everyone else that hasn't received an offer) to pick from.
Now the question is how are they picking people or knowing who to send an offer to next? Well, the AC was graded - yes graded! like with actual points scored for each activity. So everyone who participated is ranked from top performer to least performer. So, when they are sending out offers it is in bands top down. Na so...
So, after all these protocols, the regret mails would start flying out. Heheheheh wahala dey!!!
Great! Now, I said all this to say that if you haven't received regret mail yet (everyone else apparently) there is still hope. But then hey! There is nothing you can do about it at this point but pray. Niggas in HR be following some strict metrics mehnnnn... But its all good.
I don't know if this helps anyone, but then I just felt like spilling.
Ps: I am in the "not yet successful" band too like many of us here - with my fingers crossed. Hoping for the best, but already taken my mind off EY. All the best guys. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think I agree with you. Moving on... |
