Congrats to you guys. |
Eddyzyco:This is my interpretation of that mail: there is still a very long wait ahead..... |
funky6450:Nope. IBFC Alliance is recruiting for a 'non-bank financial institution' |
funky6450:I did |
Ethel22:It can't be first merchant bank since it is a 'non-bank' financial institution. Anyway, I remember when I applied. I think I saw the ad on hotnigerianjobs and the company name wasn't stated there as well. The advert said 'non-bank' financial institution. |
Bjgirl1:Cornerstone staffing is not cornerstone Insurance. Cornerstone staffing is a recruitment agency and the advertisement clearly states that it is recruiting for its clients. |
acehood907:You can apply with your bet9ja slip. |
martinsfm:Yes, tables can be part of GMAT numerical questions. But since I didn't participate in this test I cannot say with all certainty that the one you encountered in this test is GMAT or that dragnet or doesn't set other standard questions (maybe SHL). But from experience (and those of others) dragnet uses GMAT (or at least mostly GMAT). On the two options stuff, I agree with you. The candidate probably didn't read instructions. It's not likely (nor is it proper) that some people will get a different kind of questions for the same recruitment. Guys, just read instructions. |
Realex007:I think there's a lot of misinformation on this thread as regards Dragnet tests. First of all let me say that I didn't take part in the test for NBC graduate trainee recruitment. Now, people here just say 'dragnet questions' as though there is only one type of question dragnet sets. Dragnet questions are standard GMAT questions. When people drop emails asking for 'dragnet past questions' what they should be asking for is 'GMAT questions'. (unless in the case where you think dragnet repeats a set of GMAT questions). Some people have said they will not attend any test conducted by dragnet because 'dragnet questions are hard'. What they don't know is that it is the recruiting company who specifies the level of difficulty based on their needs. So level of difficulty varies for dragnet (i.e GMAT) tests. On the controversial matter of verbal reasoning requiring two correct options. Again, not all tests are the same. Some tests require one options, some require 2. In short, there are several types of verbal reasoning questions. So I don't think it is right to assume that the reason you fail dragnet tests is because you have been selecting one one option for verbal reasoning. For the NBC recruitment I honestly don't know if different people got different types of verbal reasoning questions. The key point (and lesson) here is this: If you you take time to read instructions before attempting a test you should be able to know what is required of you. You should only be afraid if you didn't read instructions. I wish everyone well in their job hunt |
chosen22:Well, it is possible that tests are still on. But I honestly doubt it. Not everyone met the cut off marks? Even if the company wants to hire a thousand management trainees and set a cut off of 80% it won't take ages to get the required number of candidates. There are literally hundreds of thousands seeking jobs. Another reason I believe the recruitment is no longer on is that I know sunrose will not push people who are still in the race for one recruitment to another recruitment. That would be unprofessional. This is just my opinion. And I may be mistaken. |
chosen22:I don't think this management trainee recruitment is still on. Successful candidates probably have received their offers. It's common for recruiters to contacts only success candidates. And in cases where only a few candidates are employed from thousands of applicants you may not find anyone who will come back here to give updates. As regards the call you received. Sunrose is a recruitment agency. Sometimes hiring companies contact them to ask for candidates based on specific qualifications and requirements. Sunrose checks their database for candidates that fit the profile and send details to the company. This is from personal experience. I also applied for this Management Trainee recruitment but was contacted by sunrose for another entirely different offer. I declined the offer after going for the interview though. So you can find out about this Citiserve or go for the aptitude test and decide if you are interested in what they have to offer. |
xploiter:Sorry, just saw this. If you are well prepared, I don't think it's too sudden. If you have legitimate reasons to reschedule, reach out to them. If the same test will hold on other date(s) they should allow you to reschedule. If the test will hold on one day only, then it may not be possible. As for the test, like I said, your aim is to score as high as possible. Time is another thing to watch out for. Yes, the time will be short (unfortunately, I can't remember how many questions or amount of time given. Shouldn't be more than 60 in total. Not so sure though) ,but it is possible to finish. Aim to finish. I hope you have practiced very well. People complain about abstracts but it's not so hard. It's just not as familiar as English/verbal and mathematics that we are very used to. There's still time to practice anyway. Of course accuracy is VERY IMPORTANT. Don't just rush to finish. Again, this is based on prior experience. I don't know if things will change. I wish you the best. |
lekan2rhyme:In this case, you are not yet a graduate. Since this is a 'graduate recruitment' I don't think you qualify. No harm in trying though, especially if you stay in Lagos |
lekan2rhyme:If you are practically done with the semester (lectures and exams) and you are just waiting for clearance you can go ahead and apply |
Christeety:Two things. 1)You can't really bend it into the toilet bowl. It's gonna hurt. Typically it won't even bend. So how do you pee without spraying the wall (or the roof) ? 2)The passage of the organ is kinda constricted, so urine may not flow at the usual rate. It takes a while to flow out. This can be very uncomfortable when the bladder is very full. Another annoying thing is that a very full bladder will sometimes result in a boner. |
xploiter:It means that within 30 days you will get to know if you passed or not. If you pass , there will 'likely' be another test at their office (paper based). Like someone mentioned, the test will be GMAT based : maths english abstract. Try and score as high as possible. Practice! Practice!! Practice!!! If you pass this test, then you will be contacted for interviews. Please note that this information is based on previous experience. I cannot be certain if the recruitment process has been modified. I wish you the best. |
xploiter:You have not even written tests yet |
MhizzAJ:As if a woman's existence revolves around man. There are many good reasons to do the things listed by the Op. But 'because I want men to follow me' is not a sound reason. |
I have read some negative comments from ignorant people here about this opening. This is one of the largest multinationals in the world. Let me advise those who are qualified for the opening. 1) This recruitment is not 'cheap labour'. They will pay you more than what most fresh Nigerian graduates earn. 2) The recruitment process is very transparent, I promise you. And it's for the smartest. You will go through tests and interviews. 3)You will learn. A lot! 4)if you are selected, and only few will be selected, you will not regret it. That is all I have to say. |
Sirnucee:And then what happened? You suddenly met someone you fancied? |

I had similar issue...but I was like in junior school...not that I couldn't approach girls...but I never fancied em.
