I know Lord Lugard told you that we are all Nigerians, you guys should have asked us if this was is true. The Bottomline is this, if the SW is a region hasn't got the backbone to demand its sovereignty, then any claim you guys make to greatness is utter nonsense. 1967? Who struck the first blow on innocents? Oh you mean the war the SW won and after, spared your lives and properties in the SW, still gave you lots 20 pounds each to start up, while the SS folks claimed your properties. Please be so kind to let us know why 1967 occurred, who drew first blood, who killed the northern leaders, the pogrom event. You dont know your history and Nigeria's as well, because if you really did , you will have a change of heart but we already know your type , you would rather die in your indenial than embrace the truth. kingzizzy: You people, particularly those from the SW, have this laughable reasoning of "you people are trooping to our region, why not stay in your region if you don't want one Nigeria". This is flawed logic. There are millions of people pfrom the ECOWAS subregion such as Ghana, Niger, Togo etc in places like Lagos, Kaduna, Kano because Nigeria gives them more opportunities than their home countries. These people are not doing any 'one Nigeria' with anyone. In the same way, there are millions of Nigerians in America, Britain,Europe and Asia because it gives them more opportunities than their own country. Nobody is preaching 'one America' or 'one Britain' to them. The lesson to learn here is, I do not have to do 'one Nigeria' with you to come to your region or area. If your region is so important, then learn to stand alone and govern your self without accepting to be governed from the northern territory of Abuja No little boy , its not a flawed logic , it is in fact, simple logic. Leave Ecowas out of this , we have no problem with them, it is you , or at least people who think like you , who have a problem with the SW. Its simple, you hate people from the SW , so leave their teritory and go back home. Leave the North and go back home as well, quit collecting government allocation, quit being governed by Abuja and call for a referandum and break away from Nigeria. It is not the SW calling for a break away but the SE, so leave please, in fact start from your family, pack up and go back, its really not that hard, prove yourself and we might take you lots a bit serious. Hypocrite!! Wants to live and benefit from another mans land and hate the man also at the same time. |

Romance › Re: Masturbation Vs Fornication by CookieBrown: 12:40pm On Apr 01, 2016 |
agbajesaid: I just read a post on FP concerning masturbation. I now asked myself an honest question; isn't it better to masturbate than to fornicate. Its what everyone have experienced expecially at early stage of puberty. The urge for sex increases and we are far from marriage due to age, lack of fiancee, money etc. My religion advices fasting as an alternative to fornication and masturbation but for how long? Isn't it better to masturbate than to fornicate? Asides the immorality in masturbation, is anything bad in it healthwisely and religiously? Matured opinions needed. Having urges towards sex is a normal human biological function, there is nothing morally wrong with that , afterall its just an urge. Now if you have a gf that you love dearly , i advice you to masturbate, in moderation though, whenever you have a sexual tension you cannot handle. Its a whole lot better than cheating on your gf and risking stds all just for a 10 to 20 minute sexual activity. It will also save you the unecessary emotional attachment to someone you do not love. Remember! Moderation is key , have set limits and try to engage yourself in other productive activities such as the gym, sports, hanging out with friends, pc games etc. Please ignore all that religious bullcrap, you got one life to live. Next time refer you yahoo answers us or uk for help instead of Nairaland. |

craziebone: i think you should try to read a book on how to use Nairaland before you try to use it.
Fact is, no single individual has ever been offered admission to study in ALL OF THE IVY LEAGUE UNIVERSITIES except a Nigerian who broke that record last year. And that makes it even more phenomenal; that they could build their institutions of learning to the standard it now enjoys and not even a single one of them has ever been qualified enough to be offered admission in all of the ivy leagues but a Nigerian.
Pls show me where i said Nigerians are doing better than the Chinese et al in all areas of life? I was making specific reference to culture and entertainment and the projection of it.
Last time i checked, most Americans, brits et al, are not Zukerberg and the rest of them. So if you do not speak of america in demeaning and condescending tone, why speak of us in that way? #Self-hate!

The Syrians helped to destroy their very own country because most of them lack critical thinking like you! Quit trying to divert this argument and answer my own previous questions. This kind of mentality is why we are still where we are in this god forsaken country. Since when did it become the job of the President to commission projects? Are state governors now santa claus? You are openly advocating, on a public forum which can be seen by the entire world, that instead of a government to focus on infrastructural and social development, it should rather share government allocation to people in form of cash and food. Why are most Nigerians so hungry? Take a look at those people in the photos, most look health, of decent weight as well as over weight. The money I spent on diesel alone was so damn crazy because when it comes to "Light" I don't joke with it. Hence, part of the reason I can't hop on the next plane- Economic reason. My monthly earnings was no longer funding my power needs. Why work from 9-5 everyday and ask my ab.oki to "off" Gen by 12 and I'd sleep inside heat? Hence the reason for leaving Nigeria to a better location- Temporarily. I advice anyone, if you can get out of the country please do, but don't come here and be washing plates after leaving a banking job behind in Nigeria.

My close pal, a Spaniard once told me "I just wanna get out of this place once Catalunya becomes fully official! Do you understand where i'm coming from? This is a white guy! He doesn't feel as being a part of this society. it isn't complex. Trust me. I TRAVEL a lot. A Nigerian friend once said "All these money you spend travelling and all why not..." I hushed him. londoner: Many Nigerians especially the men are emotionally immature. Even if you take women out the equation look at the bus drivers, okada men, market traders all the way up to politicians. Shouting all the time and fighting physically when they are angry...in public too.
Is it parliamentarians brawling shamefully? Or maybe policemen fighting in the street? Far too many Nigerian men use physical violence when they are annoyed and I suspect it is because they simply know no other way.
In the West some large men are nicknamed 'gentle giants' while some shorter guys are known to have 'short man syndrome' which is identified as a percieved preemptive show of violence or aggression. It's generally not cool for a man who is large to push his weight around just because he is taller or bigger they would be viewed as bullies actually. And cowards if done to a woman.
There should be a difference between the way an adolescent male behaves and a man who is mature emotionally. Far too many Nigerian men use physical violence when they are annoyed and I suspect it is because they simply know no other way ---> But off course they know no other way, they (80% of Nigerian men) lack the mental capacity to think critically and apply logic to their daily lives, that's why they have failed in every area the Europeans and Asians have succeeded. Do you think it's coincidence other blacks outside African succeed far better than them? All they know is how to loot public funds, brag / chest beat, eat, shit and sleep. Burger01: You wailing criminals are so pathetic. GEJ did nothing to alleviate your sufferings...yet, you suffer and smile
A new mayor is in town, mayor kindhearted enough to do what your thieving mentor, hero and drunkard couldn't do for the years he (clueless one) was the helmsman.
I keep wondering if you guys just wail for the fun of it or just simply that y'all are hopelessly in dementia.... whatever it is, we don't and wont give a hoot
https://gifsec.com/wp-content/uploads/GIF/2015/03/Car-hit-by-train.gif?gs=a They wail because they are sentimental, small minded, backwards and offcourse tribal bigots. Infact they are so blinded by these traits they would rather suffer and live in anarchy as long as they win the "tribal battle". This is 2016, yet people cannot see eye to eye on issues that may help them in the longrun. |

domopps: Those are two diff words and with totally diff meanings....
An educated customer to my company almost bite off my ear for trying explain to him.....even tho I told him am a chronic APC supporter and Member!
Cheeeeeeers Hi there, am a bit confused here, are Nigerians contending the diffrence between corruption and stealing? Shouldn't they be more worried about the effects of both on society? What happpens when a politician goes into government coffers, take money from the federal account and divert to his personal account? Or when state governors take loans from foreign coutries to finance ghost projects and diverts it to his account? Or the Chief of Ait staff stashing millions of USD in his septic tank? What do we call these acts? I do understand your point of view but people who steal should be treated the same way as corrput individuals. |
