vivaciousvivi:-----------------------Original comment---------------------------------- quote author=vivaciousvivi post=127287237 Not everyone sold landed properties. Most just sold household items. Again, this amount is mostly for new Masters grad students not experienced Hires. Check Indeed for yourself. Most that entered School, how many had own properties back in naija? Na beans? -----------------------Original comment---------------------------------- Not everyone sold landed properties. Most just sold household items - Yes. Nigerians sold household items (Blenders, Tv's, etc.) to be able to raise GBP 10,000+ per year to study in the U.K. Oh and it doesn't end there because there will be leftover change to pay for visa, flight ticket, and survival while in the U.K. Why is it Nigerians, on average comment without facts or applying common sense! |
steeltrust:The 2022 Chevrolet Malibu tank capacity is 15.8 gallons (Fuel capacity). https://www.autonationchevroletpembrokepines.com/models/2022-chevrolet-malibu The price of gas in the U.S is 3.54 USD per gallon https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/USA/gasoline_prices/ A full tank will cost 55.9 USD. Therefore, it is safe to conclude you're a damn liar. And of course your wife does not own a Chevy Malibu. Nigerians and lying. All talk with no facts. ----------------Your original text below just in case you try to change it---------------------- My wife drives a 2022 Chevy malabu It takes only 13$ to fill up the tank That about 13-14k naira But for naija if I no hold 40k I never even start ----------------Your original text below just in case you try to change it---------------------- |
fullclub:When you look in the mirror, who do you see looking back at you? No matter how you try to spin it, it all leads back to you and your dishonesty when applying for the visa. At least admit this part. You made a mistake by lying on your application and not planning properly. You didn't kill someone. Don't be afraid to own up to your mistake. Answer the following: - Who submitted proof of finance along with your application when applying for the visa? - Why didn't you put the true amount you had available for your survival on the form? - Why did you decide to lie on your application knowing firsthand you did not have enough? More observations: page 5 fullclub: Thanks bro. even tomorrow i will be sending 10 pounds to a student who said he doesn't have anything to eat. terrible story. I just plan on returning back to start my data analysis course, doing R and completing other courses that gives me joy than the pain and anguished. I thought you claim you're a coder (uff! so 90's) and a data analyst. Why are you still going back for a course in a profession you already know? Re: My Experience In UK Since I Japa:WARNING by fullclub: 9:09am On Oct 26 Procashtips: ]But you made all the monies you're currently dashing UK govt in Nigeria? You said you have multiple properties still in Nigeria, how did you get all these if Nigeria was actually bad for you? Anyone who can boast of at least ₦15m in cash and assets in Nigeria shouldn't complain about Nigeria being bad to him or her. i work mostly online with foreign firm Now you work online for a foreign firm? Again, maybe I need glasses. One thing is certain. You're not a straight forward honest person else the title of your post should be "My UK Japa. Never lie on your application and do proper research before travelling" So, here are my final thoughts on the matter: - You are not who you say you are in Nigeria - You're not serious minded hence the mental laziness to do proper research to even survive in the UK - You're definitely not a Dev. or coder (Oh dear lord) as you mention it - You're an attention seeker - And lastly, definitely not honest or trustworthy Best of luck! |
fullclub:When someone calls you out for your own mistakes, you somehow shift goal posts and find a way to justify yourself. Let's see below: - On page 3 you mentioned: " i have job that pay me 800 pounds.. from Nigeria. i have my dependant. my thoughts was that i can pay my fees from that and use my 20 hours pay rent then anything my dependant bring will be surplus" - On page 1 : in fact i have spent 500k trying to get a certification that i am not sure will yield result. - On page: 4 - i am a data analyst, a coder, and well known writer here on nairaland with my other username Although your post is indeed helpful to others out there in terms of experience, it still doesn't change the fact that you indeed misled the Embassy on your statement of account. Little did you know that the aim for the UK issuing out visas now to Nigerians is because they are experiencing economic problems and need the Nigerian to help boost their economy. Think about it. Why, in some specific year or years do they issues visas and in some, suddenly increase rate of denials? If you have a business / job bringing in 800 Pounds, and you've spent 500K, naira I assume to get certification, have other properties etc back home and suddenly you're now a coder and data analyst. Surely, you should've been employed by now or at least not have or stress about finances. Or maybe I understand things differently. Try to get your story straight at least |
franchasofficia:You know for many decades before the advent of social media, virtually every other Nigerian tribes didn't fancy Igbos and saw Igbos as the evil doers, which was based mostly on media publications that were hitherto controlled by Southwesterners, but if you observe since 2022, other Nigerian tribes no longer see Igbos as bad as Igbos were painted after the civil war. -- Playing the victim. The average Igbo man really can't help it. If what you say is true, why did Igbos keep migrating to the lands of these people in large number decades ago and currently? The Nollywood movies back in the days often showing ritual killings, drugs etc. Was it the Yorubas, Hausas, etc that portrayed these things? Middlebelt people use to despise Igbos since the 1960s based on how the then Hausa-Fulani controlled federal government portrayed Igbos as the evil doers that only spread evil, but all that has changed today as Middlebelt people have come to realize the truth and now knowing who their true friends and enemies are. Or you didn't know Middlebelt championed the 1966 pogrom against Igbos based on how Hausa-Fulanis falsely portrayed Igbos as evildoers? -- Playing the victim again. What proof do you have? Nollywood portrayed Igbos, not the Government. BTW, who declared war on Nigeria? Who carried out the first coup? Who made attempts to cross the Niger to invade other peoples lands? Prove that it was the middle belt region that championed the pogrom. And while you're at it, tell us what happened prior to the Pogroms. You know, the coup, killings, and humiliation of the Northerners. Before now, many minority tribes got hoodwinked into disliking Igbos mostly based on stories of how Igbos killed Northern l, Western, etc political leaders in the January 1966 coup and again based on the lies that Igbos started a civil war to destroy other Nigerians out of their greed to dominate Nigeria. This false mantra of Igbos are arrogant, prideful and love to dominate other tribes were repeatedly told by the Nigerian media causing every other none Igbo tribe to hate Igbos and always watching Igbos closely to know the next evil they maybe plotting against the rest of Nigeria. ---- Playing the victim again. Nollywood, run by Igbos portrayed Igbos not NTA, AIT, TVC etc. Who killed Akintola and Ahmadu B? Who used Nepotism and ethic bigotry to humiliate the Northers for their kindness? So Yorubas don't use Omo Igbo derogatory remarks? Igbos are rituals whenever they see a successful Igbo person despite Ijebu Ode and Ogun state in general being the headquarters of ritual killings for decades in Nigeria? What about Omo Igbo and fake products derogatory remark even when the Omo Igbo they visited his shop would tell them that this one is fake, this one is original with a higher price and after opting for the cheaper one cos of price would rather blame omo igbo for selling fake but will never blame or hate Chinese that are the fathers of fake and counterfeit? Omo Igbo is not derogatory! Victim mentality again! Who, as a group in Nigeria sells the most fake products? It's Igbos. Be honest with yourself. We see this everyday, even today and they refuse to refund the buyers! Of course not all Igbos but on average But if you are honest to yourself sir, if it was Igbos that produced Obasanjo from 1999 to 2006, Osinbajo from 2015 to 2023, after producing other shortlived Presidents and later recognized MKO - Delusions of grandeur. A hallmark trait of the average Igbo. Igbos produced nothing. Your population isn't big, nor are your states. Anyone can win an election in Nigeria without votes from any Igbo state. Be honest with yourself before asking that of others. |
Sizwezi:Who are the Obedient’s ? Mostly an Igbo (not the successful & intelligent ones obviously) IPOB movement filled with religious and ethnic bigotry. A very unintelligent group These are people who are tired of the status quo when it comes to Nigeria - As mentioned above, a very unintelligent group. Tired of the status quo but want to vote in a candidate that's part of the very same status quo and worse All they want is a man who can lead this nation to that greatness it deserves - Lead just like he did in Anambra for 8 years? The same man who prefers to live in Lagos run by the Yoruba government? He can be from any tribe or religion we don’t care, All we care about are his leadership attributes, sincerity , and compassion for the common man and the nation at large. Peter Obi is /was that man - Wrong and unintelligent. Tinubu is the man. Let's look at the states the candidates come from and record as Governors. Tinubu comes on top. HARD COLD FACTS! an Igbo man born and brought up in Lagos - An igbo man he is and will always be irrespective of whether he was born in Yoruba or Arewa land. Stop trying to claim what you never have or had or can never be. Be confident in your history and where you come from!! Soyinka speaks or write concerning the Country, I just laugh, because the only legacy he is known for are two things; stealing Achebe’s award - Prove it. But of course you can't. As a default and average / below average igbo, you function mainly on emotions as opposed to critical reasoning. Best stick to buying and selling. Unfortunately, the average and below igbo (Definitely not all) is constantly looking in the mirror and what they see, they really don't like. Everything he claims to be is what the Yoruba is and everything he accuses the Yoruba of is what he is sadly. A truly strange phenomenon. |
DISCLAIMER: I do not support or encourage any form of bigotry. I believe in peace, respect, and harmony among the peoples of Nigeria. If you have an aversion for the opinions of others, I strongly advice you ignore this post. The realities of the 2023 Nigerian elections The North Northerners vote their leaders (President & Vice, etc.) based on the following in order of importance: - Religion - Ethnicity - Re-election guarantee - Experience The Northerners believe Nigeria should be a Muslim nation and a Muslim – Muslim ticket gets them an inch closer or at least gives them a feeling of it. Also, Muslims, no matter where in the world sympathize with one another. Especially since they’re closely related by religion and partially by culture. Hence, the high voter turnout to aid BAT to victory. Of course, with the encouragement of their leaders in the deep conservative North. Add that to BAT’s proven track record in governance, political connections, and Yoruba votes for the North’s turn to rule after the Yorubas. This was a no-brainer for the Northern political elites to help BAT. Afterall, the Yorubas never betrayed them post 1960. The Muslims always determine the winner of any Nigerian election because they are larger in population as compared to the Christians. Peter obi did not win a single majority Muslim state. FACT! The West Westerners vote their leaders (President & Vice etc.) based on the following in order of importance: - Ethnicity - Reelection guarantee - Religion - Experience BAT before the election was given a serious warning by extreme Christian religious zealots in Yoruba land. This group feared the Islamization of Nigeria as it will threaten their interests. However, even though the majority of Yorubas are Christians, they still came out to vote in large numbers for BAT, a Muslim candidate. Why? His ethnicity. Add this to the large number of Yoruba Muslims, Especially in Kwara and parts of Kogi state, then you have the Religion plus ethnic advantage. The South Southerners vote their leaders (President & Vice, etc.) based on the following in order of importance: - Ethnicity - Political positions (Benefit) - Ethnicity (In sympathy for the South Easterners) - Experience This is quite easy to see just looking at the votes PGO got from the south. Rivers state however was an anomaly. Why? The betrayal of Wike by PDP. Wike, the man who created thousands of unnecessary state level jobs simply to help his people. Seriously, you can’t beat that. The people of Rivers (majority) are loyal to him and will do as he instructs. Reason why BAT won that state. https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/articles/cn06xpl71z0o Middle belt The middle belt region votes their leaders (President & Vice, etc.) based on the following in order of importance: - Political positions (Benefit) - Religion - Ethnicity - Experience Kogi state for example, currently run by the APC governor Yahaya Bello. A governor how has done so much for his people especially revamping the health sector of the state. For more details on his achievements: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahaya_Bello https://prnigeria.com/2022/06/29/nigerians-hail-yahaya-bello/ Voting APC was a no brainer. The East: The Easterners, the majority vote their leaders (President & Vice, etc.) based on the following in order of importance: - Ethnicity - Ethnicity - Ethnicity - Experience Simply observe (Image attached) the voting patterns since the 4th republic where we had either a Southeast or South-South individual running for president or vice. Observe the voting pattern of the 5 south eastern states. Observe the spread of votes between the regions. https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSLF6VvtG5WLHXVNdd1Y1NQSf0BgcSym6Sk6ygDaCx66XcFiOIH Now check out 2011: https://www.oecd.org/countries/nigeria/presidentialelectioninnigeria-16april2011.htm Sadly, the Igbos are not savvy or intellectual enough politically. To make matters worse, they function based on emotions and not facts. They do not build relations across the country but antagonize, disrespect, and show total lack of respect for their host states. The very same states they get their daily bread from and prosper. Seriously, it is illogical to think this is the best way to build relationships and forge alliances needed for winning elections at the highest echelons of power. People have already made up their mind. The Northerners will never accept an Igbo man as their president because they believe in their heart that they should rule over Igbos. Hell, even if Mr. Obi converts to a Muslim and recontest in the next election, he will still lose because he is Igbo. The humiliation and betrayal they received in return for their kindness and tolerance of the Igbos. Not to mention the constant insults on and offline. The Yorubas are currently experiencing the same in today’s Nigeria. The Yorubas, even as liberal as they are will also not accept an Igbo as a president. Again, history and current events influence their choice. Watch between minute 35 – 36 min (observe the date it was aired). BKO an experienced journalist, well-traveled and risked his life following the events of Boko Haram and has lived in the hardcore North for over 7 years. Yet, he was called a crook, liar and APC paid candidate. Of course, mostly by Igbos with multiple clone handles. The result today? Just as he predicted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f95E5swRZ1g&ab_channel=TVCNewsNigeria People have already made up their mind. Adamawa analysis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxHpj54XdaM&ab_channel=TVCNewsNigeria Watch from 29:33– 31:17. To summarize, I fear even in the next 50 years, there’ll not be an Igbo president. The best an Igbo politician can aspire to be is the vice president and he must do so while serving beneath the Northerner or South westerner. A sad reality. One brought upon the Igbos by themselves. Hopefully I’m wrong but I tend to think otherwise.

Angelfrost:What is the way forward for Nigerians?!! How will the change come?!! ---> Change starts with you! By simply taking responsibility, self reflecting and doing the right thing. You, I and every other Nigerian. You see my point?!! Back and forth to no practical end! ---> I have provided more than enough solutions to the problem. All you've done is complain and complain without providing any solution or learnt anything yet. And until you and other Nigerians do, nothing will ever change. Nothing! Why in God's name is it so hard to take responsibility and self reflect? Stop giving excuses and take responsibility. We all have leadership qualities within ourselves. Leadership is not meant for the President or politicians only. Live and lead by example. Bad parents often raise and send bad children into society. These children go on to become corrupt police, corrupt politicians etc. that you have been complaining about. |
Angelfrost:Telling you of my leadership experience is not chest beating, it's not stories -- Yup! That was chest beating without making an effort to dispute the facts I mentioned. Yes, Nigerians don't take responsibility and enjoy doing wrong things... Whose fault is that?!!! --> Sorry. You are a perfect example of the average Nigerian. You just admitted and at the same time doubled down again! Confusion everywhere. Who's fault is it? Like really? When you break the law it's not your fault? It's the fault of the government of course!! You don't know the difference between right and wrong. What is the way forward for Nigerians?!! How will the change come?!! ---> Change starts with you! By simply taking responsibility, self reflecting and doing the right thing. You, I and every other Nigerian. It's not enough to keep saying that until Nigerians change their ways or mindsets... We have been saying this for decades sir---> Simply saying things for decades and not actually taking action makes no sense. Actions speak louder than words remember. Americans are not better human beings than Nigerians! They were not created superiorly! ---> I don't even know what this means or what it has to do with Nigeria's problems You on the other hand, just enjoy putting your nation down...! I honestly don't get why. ---> When or where in my post did I? Prove it! Calling out Nigerians (Not Nigeria) for their bad choices in life and encouraging them to self reflect is not putting the country down but trying to save it! Leadership is why I joined this forum, and why I consistently engage people on this forum, making corrections and constructive criticisms --> How can you be a leader without self reflecting and taking responsibility / accountability? How? |
Angelfrost:I have been a leader for over 15 years - I gave you FACTS and you respond with chest beating. Read what I wrote again and prove me wrong with FACTS, not stories. Nigerians in general, on average never take responsibility for their wrong doing. And until we do this, things will never change. |
Angelfrost:This is nothing but wishful thinking and of course, refusing to self reflect and take responsibility for one's own wrong choices in life. No matter how good a leader is, nothing will change if the people themselves don't make the effort or choice to change! - The bank teller and manager who connive or conspire with the fraudster to collect funds from unsuspecting victims for a cut. Aren't they both Nigerians? Are they Politicians? - The bank teller and manager who turn a blind eye to accounts worth billions from drugs, theft of public funds etc. Aren't they both Nigerians? Are they Politicians? - Those who break the law daily even though they're educated enough to know better, aren't they all Nigerians? Are they Politicians? I can go on and on but I think you get my point. But somehow, I doubt it. No one in Nigeria wants to take responsibility for anything. It's always the fault of someone else. If most Nigerians choose to do the right thing, it'll be very difficult for public officials to be corrupt because the Good Nigerians will report them and make sure they face the law instead of getting their own share of the so called national cake. Sadly, there are too few good Nigerians left. Many Nigerians abroad obey the law because they know that they are outnumbered by the citizens who have complete opposite life values and will not tolerate them. Not because they are mostly good people. Every week there are reports of Nigerians committing crimes all over the world, especially in these same advanced civilized countries they run to. |
Ishitinyourlife:https://www.nairaland.com/7251870/im-well-traveled-finnish-citizen ----> Similar format. Handwriting the same on paper. |
The average Nigerian is not very bright and is seriously lacking in critical reasoning. This has nothing to do with race or country but rather mindset. Nigerians have a bad culture. And when I mean culture I refer to life values. Everyone complains, throw insults around and not once do they ever take any responsibility for their actions or debate solutions. For example, you here the government is to blame but: - Who elected the government? - Who voted based on bigotry, religion and ethnicity? - What's the nationality of the leaders of Nigeria? - What's the nationality of the bandits, fraudsters, thieves, etc.? - The person who steals from his or her employee, what nationality are they? The bad image Nigeria has abroad is from the same Nigerians complaining about bad governance. What is their excuse for tarnishing their country's image in developed nations? Expect them to blame it on racism, spiritual hogwash etc. If every Nigerian leaves Nigeria there will be no Nigeria anymore. Some say things like " If I clean and earn $10 usd an hour multiplied by 8 hours I earn $80 usd per day. I'm better off than a doctor in Nigeria". This individual doesn't consider the following: - Accommodation costs - Taxes - Federal and state taxes - Health insurance - Road tax - etc. All he or she wants to do is just leave. So many locked up in prisons globally, others hiding everyday from Police due to illegal stay. Nigerians only think of themselves. This selfish attitude is why the country is in its current state. If all Nigerians can come together as a collective group, debate solutions and embrace nation building, things will change. There's nothing wrong in traveling or wanting to emigrate. However, doing so without thinking critically or for the wrong reasons often end in sorrow. The image below shows Nagasaki after WW2 and Nagasaki today: Seriously, at some point, there has to be an end to the madness in the mindset of the average Nigerian.

needhelp909:The individual is most likely not your brother but YOU. Also, I highly doubt you're (your brother is) 20. I may be wrong but here's the thing about false information, especially when reporting to a doctor. Lying and leaving out important details about your illness leads to wrong diagnosis. And guess what wrong diagnosis leads to? Wrong medication. Medication that will not solve the problem but also lead to far worse issues. As some intelligent folks on here have mentioned, go see a health care professional. Seek one out at a top medical facility in your area or elsewhere. Stay away, I repeat, stay away from those herbal lairs. These are low life crooks trying to get their filthy paws on your hard earned money. Also, trying to treat a serious health issue with prayers will only guarantee death in the long run. And when that happens, they'll tell you it's the will of God. Of course after fleecing you financially via donations and what not. It might be a kidney related issue, or liver or even early stage HIV infection (Assuming you're lying and this is recent with swollen lymph nodes). Go to a health care professional! Go to a Doctor! Live or die. The choice is yours. |
onyi2k:VFS global in Qatar handles all visa applications for Germany. Why are you contacting the embassy directly? Why not VFS? I mean, if VFS (You paid for their service) is handling everything, why are you still here asking for insurance? Or you haven't applied at all. Come on. Try harder. A job in IT requires strong educational qualifications which must be verified by competent authorities (see image below). And from the way you write, I doubt you even have a WASSCE or NECO. It seems the Consular has similar spelling mistakes in the insurance email as you too. Strange.
|
Shokoloko:Indians in Canada can't speak English? What's wrong with you people? Like really? Linkedin? Like many Nigerians on there with fake profiles scamming people? Like I mentioned, Spain working late night shifts around the dark corners . |
Shokoloko:Lies. More lies! Being a developer is much more than writing code. Document reviews, planning, meetings with clients etc.. If you can't read and write properly in English or the language being used there, how in God's name will you understand a technical document or business requirement analysis? Before development, you need to know what you're doing, understand documents about the SDLC and business model! "My younger sister was recruited from Andela Nigeria to Germany" Lol! yea right. More like Spain working night shifts around the corner. |
onyi2k:"I am a software developer with 8yrs experience. I havw worked in 2 banks in Nigeria as a developer". Right. Yet, you spell and write like a 5 year old. The joke is on you! A developer who doesn't know how to use the internet to get a health insurance. You're a fake, a flake, and a very bad liar. What goes around comes around. This desperate need to scam people and show off with ill gotten proceeds will end you in trouble in the long run. |
onyi2k:Thing is, you're not having cold feet but rather a COLD DARK heart. Here are the following errors you made in your story: 1. You got a visa in Qatar. A country you claim to be living in for 2 years yet, you want to get a health insurance in Nigeria? There aren't any in Qatar? How can any sane HR hire someone with this level of reasoning? 2. A question requires a question mark by the way. And the rest? Good lord 3. It is impossible to get an EU type visa without health insurance. So, how did you get a visa without one? Think hard and come up with a good lie for this one 4. "The German company is paying for my flight and accommodation for 2 weeks but I am still having cold feet. The process is cumbersome". So, which is it? I mean, you already got the visa and they're paying for your accommodation and flight. What is cumbersome about that? 5. A company that pays your accommodation and flight ticket cannot afford to get you health insurance? Really? 6. Next time, don't claim to be in the IT field as you're seriously lacking in intelligence. To get a work visa you need to have verifiable references and yes they'll check. Also, you need to have a degree in the field of study related to the job offer. Also, with years of verifiable experience. 7. Creating multiple fake accounts with fake replies of joy and interest to the subject at hand is an old classic move. It rarely works. Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe people are really that desperate and ignorant Get a life. Get a job. I mean, a real job! |
BreconHills:Well spoken indeed. It's amazing how the mind of the average Nigerian functions. BRT buses and station burnt down. How will people go about their daily business? These are the same people who'll complain about transportation and blame the government. The BRT we see today took over 40 years to achieve due to one corrupt government after the next. Now it's all gone. How will the state government replace these things? How many Lagosian pay tax? Stores and business looted as well as employees losing jobs, how will they recover? The main problem of Nigeria is the Nigerians. You cannot have the type of government in Nigeria without the mindset of Nigerians. Who elect them into office? Who sells votes? Who rigs votes? Who steals from the employer? Who destroyed Lagos recently? Nigerians! |

Macsjebs:Locations are getting leaked by the same individuals employed to protect the said locations. They need a reason to steal their share in bulk and by leaking information, rioters/looters are the perfect excuse or distraction. |
ruffhandu:What happens next after consuming all stolen government incentives meant for the general public? Nigerians are always hungry, belly full or not. No one wants to return to the countryside, bend over and work for food, the government must provide it. Constantly thinking of the present while completely neglecting the future. A nation is only as good as its people. |
