Bonjovi13: I took time to watch the clip and I couldn't see how he disgraced himself. All I saw was a man who is passionate about his ambition and his country.
Yes he called Abati's name several times, it was obvious that they knew each other a long time. What's the big deal. Yes he wasn't fluent in English. He spoke passable well. English is not our native language and this should not be used to mock him. Most French people can't speak English, Russians, Chinese name them. They are still respected and when they speak you must make provision for an interpreter. It's only Nigeria because of our colonial mentality that has taught us that we should despise who we are and what is indigenous to us. Including our language and culture.
I'm not holding brief for him,but OUK has shown competency, resilience in business and politics that is admirable.
Most of us can't cope with the demands and strain of family politics, talk more of local then National politics. Any politician who can ride to the top of Nigerian politics and stay there should be admired. It's not easy. That being said, for equity and justice and inclusiveness, the Presidency should be zoned to the South East. We are not second class citizens. Although I am mature enough to know that our politicians from our zone have not got their acts together. They are disunited and selfish. How can they form a power Bloc if they are disunited and no one will give you power just because. You must work for it. Ya gazie You just said it all. Most of the people commenting don't even have data to watch the video. He defended himself very well |

DAREH13: No matter protocol an estate may have all police need doing is proper introduction shikena What protocol can be more than security reason That's the issue here, it wasn't done. An eye witness said the overzealous PMF , all armed to the teeth just stormed the security house demanding for the gates to be flung open. My own is that, the Host should have alerted the security at the gate of a VIP coming to his residence. |

DAREH13: If armed robbers attacks you You'll call police but when a whole commissioner of police want to enter a place you denied him entry
What's type of virus battling your brain If they're not criminal minded why denying police entry to the estate
Police has that power to enter anywhere at anytime Go and read police acts and regulations Nobody denied the CP the right to enter the estate. There are protocols to follow if you want to have access to those estates. Remember, they are Private estates not govt estates. If the Host being an honorable, wasn't comfortable with it, he would have relocated to Iyanapaja or Mushin. |
Politics › Re: Odumosu: Magodo Brooks Estate Leadership In Crisis Over Apology Letter by cool318(m): 3:08pm On Jan 04, 2022 |
airsaylongcome: So given that all estates have seen the events unfold at Magodo Brooks Estate, I guess they will all have to fling their gates open to anyone that approaches the estate with the paraphernalia of Commissioner of Police. Criminals will now leverage on this to boldly approach estates under the guise of a CP or other high ranking Military/Paramilitary personnel Do you mind them? Since they don't know that there's access enforcement & control in those private estates to prevent the numerous social vices plaguing the society. If the house of rep who is hosting the event didn't want the security network in the estate, he would have relocated to Iyanapaja or Ikorodu or Makoko. Let boys visit him. The CP should have informed the host, who inturn informed the Security at the gate to allow him unfettered access. That's how security works in a Private guarded estate, not Govt estate. |

jmoore: Topography of the area determines the accessibility of water via borehole.
“If you don’t have the necessary rock, what is called an aquifer, which can contain and also be able to release water in abundance, it will be hard. If you are not within the water table, the hope of getting water is slim and even if you do, it will dry up easily,” he explained. . You summarized it all. In addition, even when the water table is found, to drill a borehole in that location is almost up to 2-3 million . Cost of drill bits ( tens of it will be used), lengths of pipes etc. You find out that an average person can't spend that much for erecting a borehole In Enugu. A soil that doesn't have sand, natural chippings all through |

Port Harcourt has been in the News recently with very disturbing humanitarian news. The Government of Nyesom Wike seems not to be concerned about the plight of his people. Blackouts in almost all parts of Rivers State, Black soot that has been ravaging the state for almost three years now.
From information on ground, almost all Military, government officials share the largesse coming from the illegal refineries in the creeks and waterside's, hence the lip service and kids glove about the Black soot issue. |

davodyguy: You're in Asia and 55%(or more) of all we use in Nigeria comes from China (Wuhan, Guangdong especially)
Why not import?
Here's the secret.
Before the pandemic hit deep, it cost just ₦100,000 to import 1 CBM.
1 CBM is equivalent to 360kg.
So, when you see dealers lying to you in Alaba, Oyingbo, Idumota, Orile that their profit is small, it's a big fat lie.
Imagine importing all lightings, fittings, switches, Water heater etc which are less than 1 CBM and paying as little as ₦30,000 and all the items you bought cost you only ₦60,000. Add 1+2 to give you approximately ₦100,000
Everything that cost you ₦100k to buy and ship from China, will cost you ₦500,000 to buy in Nigeria if not more.
Chai, these days I'm revealing too much God Bless you real Good my brother. You will be rewarded when we start the dealings, we are still fine tunning and seeking for opinion of good people like you. I will DM you |

Good evening able builders , suppliers and prospective clients. It's a great pleasure stepping into this learning arena.
Pls my question is this: Is it cost effective for somebody outside the country (Asia) to be precise, to shop for home fittings like: WC's, lights and fittings ( both indoor & Outdoor), Television and home theater, AC's, curtains and fittings, kitchen cabinets, wrought irons for rails and fancy doors, solar street lights & CCTV etc.
Please, experienced expert advice is needed in terms of the cost of Container and shipping charges. Is it cheaper over there as one is buying in bulk. |
