I believe it's high time we begin to charge tuition on courses like Medicine or at the least have a minimum contribution you must make to your country before leaving
US doctors and lawyers have student loans of 200 to 500k USD after graduation It will be good, but Governors like Wike will prefer to use the money to buy brand new SUV'S for already corrupt politicians and judges. The vicious cycle continues |

Wiseoldman: Bros, i used to randomly get pissed with the government for statement like this. This was until I moved to the Niger Delta and I saw communities stop contractors from building their town road because the company did not pay enough marching ground. Or a community wrestling the government and oil companies not to build a bridge in their community so they can continue to rent their boat and pontoon to the companies in the area.
Fear catch me me with the thinking in that place. I am aware of the existence of these instances you mentioned, it even happened in Aluu of recent with OPM, but the case of Afam is a different one. Oyigbo people as I heard are not too volatile. They were enjoying constant power during the previous administration, but the reverse is the case now. Even the road to Afam is a nightmare. The governor promised establishing a Cassava processing plant there , that one looks like a political statement cos Even the farmers who were celebrating, have resigned to fate. |

Oyigbo as a community has over 36 oil & gas wells which many are in full production. I believe that the community should be given a kind of humane treatment when taking into consideration the resources being pumped out from their underground reservoirs. Nigeria is exporting electricity to West African countries on credit, they are owing still they are supplying them electricity, so why are the host communities in darkness. Something is not right in this Country, it's a Pity |

saynotocultism: They came in 2010 silver colored Camry around 8 pm. They waited outside mapping me. I was at home with my colleague I was inside seeing everything . They where 4 in number and 3 came out of the vehicle and waited at the gate. I called for backup and took my son and wife to a safe place . Backup came in 30mins and waited at the exit of my estate. I took the back door and waited at the back of the silver camry they came in. One was inside waiting to zoom them off after killing me. My colleague opened the gate and they moved away from the gate . I then told backup to drive into my close and block the exit to my close. They entered into the camry and that was when i came out and shot the tires of the vehicle. searched their phones and saw my pictures. They came with 2 AKs and one PA and axes to take my head like kokoma. AGED between 19, 21, 20,24 . making useful confession. 3 more have been arrested this morning in lekki. The chat gave them out and my pictures. I have not been home in about 3 months as i do have my family join me at my lodge every weekend. They have Failed, they are failures and they will continue to fail. Look at their ages , small boys fa , who in the Western world are engaged in meaningful ventures. pacespot: OKAY, I THOUGHT THEY SAID 6% Don't mind that guy, he is sugarcoating an irreparable anomaly that Shylockians in govt wants to meet Nigerians with. Do you know that when you buy land, you pay stamp duty, you pay several govt duties before you get C/O. You pay for road worthiness, still there is no motorable road. You pay for light, no light but they are selling light to other countries on credit. Other sane & responsible countries establish low income housing schemes, build homes for civil servant, but here, a Private individual , who can't bribe his way into Govt, struggles and builds, you want to come and collect Stamp duty. What is Govt doing for an average Nigerian sef ? |

NewDelhi: But where did the yams get enough water to germinate to that extent?.. it's staged. It isn't staged, its the adaptability of plant species. They are using the yam tuber tissues in the hostel as food and water supply at the same time moving positively phototropic in search of photosynthesis. The mystery will now be where the new regenerated Tuber will be domiciled. I will need to consult my Library |
