owo8184: I am a young married man with 2 kids. The marriage is 6yrs now. Due to the situation of the country, we’ve not been staying together. I hustle in a University environment in one of the states in Southwest while she works as a freelance for some organizations in Lagos.
I normally come home (Lagos) on monthly basis. But during this lockdown, I have been in Lagos with my family.
Prior to our marriage, there is this guy she met when we had some misunderstanding. They started a date but later called it off when we settled. She didn’t give me the details but based on what I read on her phone back then, I knew they made out together. The said guy is now in Port Harcourt but I am aware he normally comes to Lagos.
Just today, I heard my wife giving someone a description of where they will meet somewhere in Agege (where she uses as her office). I was curious to know the person. I didn’t ask her because she would find a story to cover up. I found a way to check her phone and saw that her ex - the said guy was the one who called. May I say that we have fought over this guy several times even before and after our marriage. She won’t let this guy be in her past. She’s either calling the guy or the guy is calling her. This time, I chose not to raise my voice but monitor her closely. She left home for work today. I may not be able to give details but every surrounding clue indicates that my wife has a date today. She returned home and I found a way to check her whatsapp but alas she has deleted her chats with the guy.
Just this night again, she received a call from another man asking her when she would come to his office. She once told me that the man was asking her out. In all these, I want to believe my wife is up to something. Infidelity is the last I would accept in this marriage.
Should I confront her with all these observations? Please, I am confused.
You have to be careful of the way you accuse your wife of I fidelity. I read your post and to me they are not enough to accuse or judge her.
I am a sales person and I know what it means to manage client. The truth is if you don't trust her, let her change her job or do something else. You can't destroy your marriage because of 'you think'
A lot of people giving you an advice here are jobless, they don't know what it takes to manage their self talkless of customer.
Please if she continue the job, take time to understand her job, act intelligently to catch her red handed before you act.
It doesn't worth it to destroy your marriage on assumption.
Jannuxajj: I will try but the truth be say woman no dey my mind but konji one kill man
You have to take your mind away from konji way one kill you just focus on getting the lady, how to make her happy and intimacy Bros your dream is yours peacefully
maduxs: Admin please bring this post to light. I have an albino girlfriend, we have been dating for a while now but the fact remains that the stigmatization is too much. People discriminate against her so much.
Every time I'm walking with her people looks at us as if we came from another planets. All my close relations and friends I told about her discouraged me from getting married to her. Everybody is against me, they told me how can I introduce albinism to my lineage.
I understand that she has a very poor visual acuity, she is prone to skin cancer, she will depend on me to get some certain task done especially under sun.
She is a very good girl, what I'm looking at is what is inside her I mean her personality even though she is obese, she gives me peace of mind.
Finally she is also a petrochemical engineer, and very brilliant person though her albinism has been disadvantageous to her from getting a better job. I just proposed to her against all odds even though I'm all alone.
Should I go on to marry her? Please I need advice from people with mature minds.
Don't get it twisted, I am not a good writer I would have share my personal experience with you about my sister that marry albino.
But my simple message is the color of our skin has nothing to do with who we are. If this person is beautiful on the inside, intelligent as you required and caring, my brother don't miss the opportunity because of skin color.
You might also want to read why the color of their skin is white. That will also help you. It's just absence of melanin in their skin that's all.
Exmilitant: In the nearest future, Nigeria will be using money of Babangida, Obj, Buhari, Tinubu, Orji Kalu, Atiku, Ganduje, Fashola, Patience Jonathan, Dangote, Wike, Amaechi, Ayade and all who thinks they are looting this country, to run the economy. Mother Earth has an interesting way of recompessing.
Bros forget, those looters above are professional looters
There is no doubt, what he did create an impact. The truth is that this set of Northerners will not stop disgracing this nation because if that has never be a need, he could not have invest in it.
I bought a London used HP Probook 6450b from a guy they call "Alfa" for 65000 naira at computer village. Sometime later, my friend wanted to buy a laptop, I suggested he bought the same type I use.
He bought his for 60000 naira, when I was setting it up for him, I put on my laptop and his at the roughly same time, his laptop booted faster than mine, nothing appeared wrong at this time.
Fast forward a week, my friend bought a GTA 5 CD from computer village, after he installed the game, he gave me the CD to install the game on my laptop, but I didn't have time to play it at that moment.
When I got home, I decided to play the game, and to my surprise, the ran very slowly, around 10-15 fps, the next day, my friend called me to ask whether I was enjoying the game, I told him what happened and he was confused, he said the game was getting a minimum of 60 fps on his laptop, I then asked him how much RAM he had, he quickly checked and told me 4GB, since I didn't know how much I had, I checked mine, and to my surprise, I only had 3GB of RAM! I then checked the official specs of the laptop when it first came out, it came with 4GB of RAM!
My question is, should I go and challenge "Alfa" to get the RAM changed or should I let it slide?
Not about big deal, they will just increase your ram
DEEBOZZ: Do we really need Shoprite ? Can Nigeria economy crash if Shoprite removed their investment in our country? Are they our only source of shopping?

Candoit: So, now you want us to give you a license for divorce?
No.
Marriage is for better for worse and till death do you part.
I don't pity people like you one bit. When you were with her, she was all wonderful and the perfect one. Now, it's marriage, you're suddenly finding faults.
I am in something similar but i try to know her better, take her for who she is an learn to love and is working.
Did you guys fight? If not my brother there is no perfect home, all of this people you see their pictures on Facebook and you think things are rossy na fake. Under their roof is hukhugan vs undertaker.
Find one thing that exciting in the relationship which definitely there is and nature it. The devil you know us better than angel you don't know.
I agreed with the writer. Most of our Pentecostal pastor divert tithes into personal wealth and invest in more building churches and invest in real estate.
I remember I went to Catholic primary school for my primary education, these are schools built buy foreigners tithes all over Nigeria and beyond but you will not see Nigeria churches doing that. They will rather invest in expensive University for personal gain.
Nigeria is in big trouble Our politicians are scam Our pastors are scam Our Alfa are scam Our employers are scam Even youth are scam.
I commend pastor Chibuzor may Almighty God continue to guide you, bless you and never put you to shame for this you have done.
We are at it again, blame game. South Africa and the rest of the world are calling Nigerians out, Nigerians are calling Yoruba out, Yoruba are calling Lagosians out.
The blame game but the fact is this guy is an African man and a Nigerian for that matter. The west will surely treat us as the same if you like shout Yoruba, oyingbo ma go still treat you bad once you are an African man.
Iamgrey5: A thunderstorm has killed 18 suspected kidnappers at a forest in Adamawa State.
Sources said the men of the underworld were sharing ransom money they got from their victims when the thunder struck them.
The incident occurred within the Toungo Local Government Area of the state, local sources said.
Toungo is a town and local government area in the southern part of Adamawa State on the Nigeria-Cameroon border.
“The bandits, it was gathered, had collected over N20 million from their wealthy victims between Koncha in Cameroon and Toungo in Nigeria,” a source in Toungo said.
According to the source, the suspected kidnappers met their end because angry victims went spiritual against them.
“Angered by incessant attacks by the kidnappers, community leaders and victims consulted a native doctor to send thunder after the bandits. They met their Waterloo when they gathered to share the money,” the source said, adding that local hunters could not retrieve their corpses nor their money inside some bags as well as their weapons.
The Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, said Friday morning that the incident actually happened within Cameroon soil near the border with Nigeria.
“We heard that the victims engaged the services of a native doctor, but it was said to have occurred in the neighbouring Cameroon, which is not under our jurisdiction,” Nguroje said
Did the person that inform you told you not to tell them they have fixed the burial?
Just put a call to them confirming the new. After confirmation just play along and let them know you are not happy about their actions and that's all for burial, go there on that day and do your part.
On your Dad property, do you have mother in the village? Open discussion about it and tell them to decide. Whatever they decided is fine by you and move on.
You just need to be open with them and be straight forward. Let them be the lawyer and judge of their case.
My brother the number of unjust death in Nigeria is too much.....hastag? We should just be praying not to be a victim Nigeria is sick
philip0906: Any hashtags for him? Ofcourse not. A young 9 year old boy who had been missing in Suleja was found dead today with his eyes plucked...Seen any hashtags for him or this pastor?
Ofcourse you won't see any. It doesn't fit the sensationalist headlines for Twitter and celebrities to latch on and engage in senseless #justiceforcrap charades.
The day Nigerians decide to have sense and choose to hit the nail on it's head demanding the right things from the government even if it means shutting down the country, then we might just be on track to sanity.
Till then, hol anything you believe tight, shine your eyes and hope for luck because the jungle don mature and only the fit and lucky survive.
FivePeas: I think you're being too hasty and would appeal to you not to make a hasty decision that will cause you damage because you sound like someone who's about to react ( from negative reactions ) rather than someone who's about to embark on a well planned action. There's a difference. Trust me I know.
I qualify to give you sound counsel as a business operator and would like to discredit any thoughts of you quitting you job because of your savings.
Let's take it step by step
1. Financial security is important. Can you reduce your monthly expenses and boost your savings so you can save let's say 300k monthly, which in six months gives you an approximate of another 2 Million Naira
2. Start the process of setting up a business while you're still employed. This way you can weigh the options if it's for you or not. And can easily convert your salaries towards the establishment of the business
3. Do not quit your job until you've had a well to Houghton out business plan and have put it into effect. Remember money is just half the equation, the other half the business
4. Be more tolerant rather than being irritated because things aren't working for you from a place of convenience. Start thinking positive thoughts about the positives of your job. I'm sure it can't be all negative. Whatever it's costing you, give yourself the opportunity to reflect and tell yourself giving it six more months for proper planning won't do you harm
5. Get a second accommodation closer to work. So you can shuttle between both ends. Friday home till Sunday. Have you considered this?
6. Get a nanny and if you can afford it, get a driver too and delegate some of the duties with the kids care to them.
7. Give yourself time. Do not jump to the next thing until that so-called " next thing " has been fully constructed while you're still maintaining the one that looks stressful.
lablonclacla: Bro, i can categorically tell you that unilag doesn't have lecture halls where anybody sits on the floor. I am not saying this because i am trying to hype the school. Renovations are constant in unilag. Probably because it's in the heart of the city. From 24hrs electricity to free wifi to tarred roads and beautiful lawns to air conditioned lecture rooms etc. Although not the best on international standard due to the state of the country, i will say unilag is the one eyed king in the land of the blind. Thanks
PS: Makoko doesn't look beautiful from the sky.
This Makoko is scary, does people live on all this stretch of house?
