Hi all, the issue we had with publishing Alimosho Standard (formerly Abesan News) was printing of the magazine. It took all limited resources and was very expensive to maintain especially on a monthly basis.


We are glad to let you know we no longer have that problem as we now have a printing press where we can print our magazine and also print for other people (commercial).


This has now brought us to a junction where we need more people (qualified) on Board. Alimosho Standard needs six people who are trained journalists that will serve as Editors for the six LCDAs in Alimosho. These people must reside in the place of their interest and must have ears for news. It will be an added advantage if they have an existing relationship with the Local Government where they reside. They will not need any supervision as the news they send to the office must be publish-ready.


These areas include:
Alimosho LG
Mosan Okunola LCDA
Igando Ikotun LCDA
Egbe Idimu LCDA
Ayobo Ipaja LCDA
Agbado Okeodo LCDA


These people should not be less than 30 years old and must be Team players. They should be ready to take decisions without contacting the head office and will also be responsible for decisions taken.


We are hoping to make Alimosho Standard the number one paper in Alimosho and we believe we have the capacity to do so.

There are some of the newly constructed roads that don't have walkways in Alimosho though.
