I was already about 30 years of age before I understood what it means to be a man. I had to call my dad to come over to my place in lagos for the first time and we did shopping for him, made him drink his favourite and even joked about giving him a girl to keep his company. I had serious hatred for him due to what I learnt from my mom and some that he did that I know of but then when I grew up I realised what it takes to be a man and I made up with my wonderful father. He died 2013 which I still cry about almost everyday because I never fulfilled all my promises to him.

Some years back we went for burial in the village and a man came to ask us for money or we will not be able to continue the party but as lagosians we laughed at him.

This man came back after the whole weather has changed and he was damn serious so we decided to cooperate with him so we gave him 1k but he refused and left in anger. Few minutes after that we don't know how this heavy rain started lo and behold we could not continue because the rain would not stop. We had to go and meet the man in his house begged him with cola and about 5k he asked us to go and the rain stopped immediately. My own experience!
