As an agnostic atheist who looks at things from a scientific standpoint, science doesn't say that something came from nothing.

The Big Bang Theory references the rapid EXPANSION of the universe from an extremely hot and dense SINGULARITY (or more simply, point). Spacetime does not exist as we know it in a singularity. A singularity is NOT 'nothing'. In fact, it contained all the energy required in the universe.

Anyone who makes that claim is not talking from a scientific standpoint.

Jesus probably didn't even exist.

'God's word made flesh' never bothered to actually write anything.

No records of Herod killing infant boys at that time. Strange, considering the fact that Josephus, King Herod's historian lived during that time.

No records of an earthquake of walking dead parade during that time.

The gospels were all written decades after his death.

The gospels are conflicting: Two different genealogies of Jesus are given (spontaneous evolution? ).

The apocalypse which was clearly predicted in Matthew 24:20-34 never happened.

This is pretty damning evidence.

This has gone on for too long. Try to convince your father to go to a hospital. Nothing out there is going to save him. Talk to some of his friends who you know he may listen to, maybe they can advise him.

The mystery of god should make religion irrelevant and superfluous, because it is an admission that religious people worship something they don't and would never understand.

Therefore, one who opts out of worshipping mystery, to instead , observe, catalogue and study the footprints of nature, is more reasonable and more useful to society and humanity.

Also, you need FAITH to understand God. No matter how intelligent you think you are. You need to let him reveal himself to you. If God were just to reveal Himself, what would be the need for faith?

Softwares can be designed to critically analyze data . Coding (programming ) is a stage in software development and is performed by programmers . Even prototypes are produced at some stage of a design . These products' functions are limited to the level of programming or input when designing .
