There's no dilemma here, research that is incomplete is incomplete. Scientists would not attribute it to magic just because hey don't know yet. Second, I don't think what you defined above is the meaning of circular reasoning.
By the way, RNA can be formed by self-assembling amides in the right conditions.

This is another thing you've gotten wrong, evolution and chemical evolution are not the same theory. Evolution deals with heredity while chemical evolution deals with chemicals. I don't know the books you've been reading but please make sure they are not biased and also, make sure you understand them fully.

Harming others is wrong because we are intelligent creatures with brains that are complex enough to give us emotion. One of such emotions is know as empathy.

Empathy is necessary for social creatures like man to help those in need and for us to not cause harm to our fellow humans.

But you're missing point. I'm saying that homosexuality causes no harm and I'm asking you to show me why it is wrong.

Did life materialize out of thin air?

Every living organism can be broken up into amino acids. Amino acids are the building block of life. Although research is still far from complete, scientists believe that the atmospheric conditions of the earth before life would have been able to produce these amino acids.

How these acids made the jump to become living organisms is still unknown. But there is an organism which possesses some characteristics of living things and some of non-living things, they are called viruses.

Let me tell you about my moral compass. It's not long and it doesn't have arbitrary rules. It goes something like:
Do not harm another individual physically, mentally, emotionally, or socially. Also, do not harm people indirectly by polluting the environment, messing up the ecosystem, cheating in examinations, etc
Do not cause unnecessary harm to animals.
The rules above are not absolute, there are exceptions such as things like self-defense.

Let's start with evolution.
For evolution to be true some conditions have to be met, one of such is that the fossils of organisms will become more primitive the deeper we go into the earth' crust, with the most primitive species at the deepest layers and the most recent at the topmost layers.
