Yes we submitted one. They're asking for a more detailed letter of intent to marry that includes wedding preparation and future plans.

Update : we received the RFE
USCIS requested for these evidences

1. Evidence of a bona fide nature of Intent to marry
2. Evidence of wedding preparation
3. Evidence of ongoing relationship
4.correspondance discussing your future or marriage
5. Evidence of family and friends are aware of the relationship.
6. (Evidence of engagement ceremony)
7.(birth certificate of children born to relationship.)
8. Proof of financial support
9. (Evidence of subsequent visit)

(During her visit 2019 she accepted my proposal for marriage, we do not have an engagement ceremony. Its a decision we both made to spend the rest of our lives together)

(The plan was for her to return for a second visit 2020 and we get married my side but after much delebration, cost of wedding, and the condition of her job we decided I come over to the U. That same 2020 Codvid-19 pandemic hit and there were travel restrictions worldwide.)

(We don't have any child born into the relationship.)




We have all the evidence including chats, wedding preparation and future plans except for those in brackets which we will explain to them, infact we will send more than what they requested for. next week my fiance will mail the evidence to uscis . We have 60 days to respond.

They just need additional evidences or sometimes they are documents which you and your partner forget to send along with the initial i-129F petition.

RFE can include;

proof that you and your partner has met within the 2 year bracket prior to filing the application
proof of divorce certificates if previously married and you forget sending it along the initial petition
sometimes they do ask for RFE when you forgot to fill in some places in the i-129F form, they normally send that place back to the petitioner
They can also ask for proof of intention to marry if you and your partner forgot to include the letter of intent to marry within 90 days

Yes we left some boxes unchecked in the form i-129f
But im sure everything will be fine by God's grace

There are many reasons. So it will be difficult to guess. It could be the Birth Certificate (wrong format), or tax returns (not filed properly), or income (below poverty line), or Divorce Certificate (not filed properly), etc. Just wait for the request.

1. We forgot to add proof that we did not meet on marriage broker site, she forgot to add that document. 2 she left 2 boxes about my criminal records information on the form I - 129f unchecked, although we sent a letter afterwards for correction but don't know if it gets to them. So we're waiting to see

Update on our case- So we received RFE today for our case but they've not emailed my fiance what additional evidence they need yet. NOA1 was nov 2nd 2020 and got feedback 16th June 2021 that's 7months and 2 weeks. What are the common reasons for RFE?

Can I ask my fiancée to put a call through so as to effect it ?? I have been refreshing my case tracker application everyday yet to be updated. Cos I think for (WAC ) it’s suppose to be 5-7month waiting period nah

Its now 6-8 months. The last case inquiry is October 14TH 2020. Our car was received Nov 2nd 2020 (WAC) so hopefully we should hear from them next MONTH. Processing time could change at any time

I've been to 4 other francophone countries and from my experience Senegal is more developed and have better opportunities than any other francophone speaking country in the west . Im kinda confused with this Answer because I remember one tread about k1 visa interview and it was advisable not to tell VO you intented to look for job on a k1 visa because your intention is to get married to your fiance not to look for Job but here you responded otherwise.
