You do know that they are not throwing the money away. They are investing in a business, franchise, Real Estate etc. Their investment is a form of wealth preservation.

For instance in Grenada, real estate appreciates annually by 20% which can be sold after holding it for 5years. With this you already have your citizenship as well as your capital investment with profit. Also Grenada is a tax haven, any money brought in won’t be taxed.

My boss has a second passport by virtue of investment, I know this cos I’m kinda close to him.

He is always preaching how Nigeria is great and the youths should fight more. But none of his children are in the country.

How did I know he had a second passport, our client is really big in the tech space and they needed someone to represent Africa in one event, my boss had other appointments so nominated a senior manager in my office. The man couldn’t get visa on time, my boss had to go and to process his flight, baba brought out Canadian passport, my mouth hung wide open.

So this man has Canadian passport yet will be urging us to remain, their clique have these things but you won’t know. If yawa gas for Naija, you will be shocked the number of big men that will run away LEGALLY with their families.

The Dangote you talked about will be using a diplomatic passport, that’s if he doesn’t even has a US passport cos his firm is listed on the American stock exchange.

You only know yourself, never assume for others. I have a friend that schooled on Naija, but Na blue passport she hold cos she was born in the US. She’s a die hard Naija In public but In private she will be telling me that if not that her parents have money, she will never live in Naija.
