Politics / Re: Buhari Re-nominates Aliyu Abubakar NCC Job, Rejected In 2016 By Senate by cosef: 5:59pm On Jul 18, 2019
I knew it was definitely going to be a northern. Buhari can never be adamant like this for a southerner.

The Aliyu guy has a one-year computer 2000 diploma as his highest qualification, he even collected the diploma certificate in 2016 so he can vie for minister.

A man who cannot succefully shut down a pentium 2 desktop computer is who Buhari wants a Communication minister? Yet we have computer geeks, software developers, IT Nigerian experts getting snapped up by the likes of Facebook, Google, Bing etc while the others are not gainfully employed.

Why is this country cursed?

Your bigotry is now seeping out. So Tinubu should have prevented Igbos and other non-indegenes from owning land in Lagos huh? I guess that would have won him accolades in your books. So I guess it's safe to say that it is a deliberate policy of Igbos in Igboland not to sell land to non-igbos unlike the 'foolish' Yorubas. Smh. It's really difficult figuring you Igbos out, really. Your bigotry is inborn. I just give up. You and daboomb can shove your bigotry up your assess.

But daboomb is Yoruba.
Sports / Re: Algerian Kids Mock Super Eagles, Recreate When Mahrez Played Free Kick(Photos) by cosef: 4:43pm On Jul 17, 2019
Onyekuru did nothing wrong. He was trying to be sure sleeky Mahrez didn't play a fast one by putting it under the wall. The immediate blame rests on Akpeyi who built a good wall and hid behind the wall leaving a huge space on his right. The remote blame rests on Rohr the experimenter who finds it's difficult to play and fully utilize Chukwueze because he doesn't give him gifts and bribes like Ighalo and Mikel. The only time Chukwueze plays is when Nigerians protest against exclusions. He almost didn't make Rohr's AFCON list, until fans protested and threatened fire if Chukwueze is not taken to Egypt. If Chukwueze gets half the playing time stiff waist Ighalo gets, he will develop into a Nigerian fans' delight for the Super Eagles.

Pulling out Sam Chukwueze at that crucial moment give the Algerians the impetus to throw bodies forward, and put Eagles defense under undue pressure, which in the long run led to the goal.

Rohr will be playing against against another dangerous North African side Tunisia in a hopeless 3rd place match. He now has more opportunity to continue his hopeless unending experiments.

Algeria will lose the finals. Senegal for the win. But if Senegal play against Algeria the way they played Tunisia who missed a lot of scoring opportunities in that Semi-final match, Senegal will lose.

Even though Senegal won that match, I don't think they performed optimally. Mane and other attackers need to understand themselves and position themselves properly in the 18 yard box during attacks.

It's a pity yorubas are no longer as united as they used to be.

It's a pity.

Which one in Ibadan, Apata or Odogbo?

But my very important question to you, kind sir, is are you in the military now?

if not has the cruelty/brutality you learnt there helped you to excel more than your colleagues that attended 'normal' high schools?

And lastly as a parent, will you subject your child to such form of education?

I await your response sir.

CSSI Ibadan is Apata and fully boarding.

CDSS Ibadan is fully day.

I attended CSSI Apata, fully boarding for 6 years.

I came out a very determined, sociable and disciplined young man but also can be very intolerant to nonsense. My siblings bore most of the brunt. My parents likened it to PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder.

When I wanted to get into NDA through a friend's dad who is a Major-general, my mum swore it will never happen, she insisted I was going to a civil university. I went on to become a Medical Scientist and I am thankful.

A few of my friends got into NDA, some became pilots, some Engineers, one is now a pharmacist in the United States, some went into business, some have became lecturers.

Command gives you a conquering self belief that nothing is bigger than you but it may take away some of your humanity while trying to mould you into a conqueror.
Education / Re: Inside A Military Secondary School (Photos) by cosef: 8:49am On Jul 15, 2019
Command Secondary school.

CSSI Ibadan was not easy at all when I schooled there more than a decade ago. Everyday na beating, fetch water, lied down, plant your head, hide under bunk, hide from senior wey dey plan you. Commando life was not easy many of my peers ran away before we got into SS1

I became very fearless but also very brutal when I finished there. Only God helped me become human again while in the University studying to become a Medical professional.
Sports / Re: If Nigeria Wins Algeria To Night Call Me A Big Fool by cosef: 7:27am On Jul 15, 2019
It was easy to see that, they'll lose. When you have an Ighalo who thinks Ajegunle 'gidigbo' style will help him take out articulate Europe-based defenders then you've starting losing already.

Heaven and earth knows Rohr has never had any plan except experimentations.

God go bless you.....let me add this...they also noticed our play was basically from the midfield...they dominated the central ...immediately our players realised they couldn't penetrate from the middle...they became technically confused...this was where we needed Mikel obi...I swear....I was just shouting where Mikel,,where Mikel...the Algerian team tactically chased iwobi of the central midfield...

Mikel wouldn't have changed anything. He would even killed off more tempo and give 20 back passes in 2 minutes.

Removing Chukwueze was the prime decision that killed the tempo, encouraged the Algerians to come forward and press harder until they got the well deserved goal. Also, Ighalo lost almost all the ball he contested for, even in his own half. Etebo and Ndidi will win the ball only for the lackluster dude to lose the next second.

Ighalo was the Algerian 12th player.
Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Algeria : Who Is Your Worst Nigeria Player? by cosef: 11:11pm On Jul 14, 2019
Again, Ighalo should stop thinking he is still playing Ajegunle 'gidigbo' football. Proper physical strikers don't wait for aerial balls to bounce, they go at it like Drogba, that's the only way they are assured of possesing the ball before taking on defenders in this modern game. These are not Chinese factory workers he plays against in the chinko league.

He has exhausted his goodwill.

I still refuse to believe he is best Nigeria striker out there. Best strikers have a bit of flair. Ighalo has none.

And he was fed repeatedly and he could not dribble a single player. Sometimes, we just have to let the guy grow at his own rate. This overhyping will eventually get to him and his head and he will end up like other overhyped Nigerian players.

He was not fed repeatedly, go watch the match again. They concentrated more or Musa's wing for attacks and he couldn't deliver. Musa has pace but his off the ball movement is terrible.

Chukwueze kept Algerian defence in check as they were afraid to move forward from that right wing. His removal extingushed the fire in the attack and gave the Algerians more confidence to move forward and continue to cause problems for the Nigerian defense.

Watching football is not about watching 22 men run after a round leather object. Watch it technically and tactically. Infact watch what players are doing when they don't have the ball and you'll get more information about how the game goes.

See the way the Nigerian team switched off in the last few minutes after removing Chukwueze the fire in the team, it was just a matter of time before they crumbled.

I refuse to believe that Ighalo who can't take on defenders and always loses the ball even if in his own half is the best striker that is available in Nigeria. Modern day strikers don't wait for aerial balls to bounce and then try to pick the ball and bulldoze your way through sharp defenders. It's not Ajegunle monkey post. Striking involve more technicality than that.

Rohr should tender his resignation tommorow. His experimentation with the team ends here today.
