Nigeria is limited by the number of payment gateways. The only two I know work here are cashenvoy (30 days funds held) and voguepay (10 days funds held). Is this dropshipping? This means you need to have funds to run an eccomerce platform in Nigeria thus cannot be said to be dropshipping.

I also know a lilttle about stripe atlas where you open a us bank account and register a business before you are put on an international gateway payment.

Summary of all this long English is this; Dropshipping is not suitable for a Nigerian living in Nigeria because your options are seriously limited.

You are the one that is not getting it. I think you should ask the right questions and not to put up wrong conclusion that will mislead people.

I actually ignored them instead. Yes, I didn't even bother to reply them again till date. Good a thing, they are not the only option.

The company that host my website already have access to all my files. Infact, they are the one keeping and maintaining the website. So it will make no since to refuse giving them my Cpanel details because they already have access to all my files from their end.
But for a third party like 2checkout to ask for my Admin login details all in the name of processing payment on my website is out of order. I mean who does that? Are they the only payment processor around? Is not about being a new startup or an established company. Is about doing things the way it should be done.

You need to know that some of us don't just appear from no where to say what we don't know, but that we actually know what's up.

To further convince/prove to you and anybody that Nigerians at home can actually run an international e-commerce store, I've re-activated the store section of my website (in my signature) which I previously deactivated because like I earlier said, I'm not ready for e-commerce now.

I've put up some few items in that store including a DIY US PayPal account guide. If you need a PayPal personal or business account, you can go over to Kikimat Store and order the guide now with your Credit Card or Bitcoin and open your PayPal account by yourself in less than 1hr.

I won't advice anybody to use 2chexkout. They are a hell of a company! I tried using them early this year, but they stress the hell out of me! Finally, after providing all the documents they requested, they then went ahead and asked for my my website Admin login details. Imagine that? I mean what on earth will make a company want to know the Admin login details of another company that they are not providing hosting for? It was crazy. They deliberately wasted my time and finally turned me down by asking for site's admin login details. What then did I do? Of course I'm yet to get back to them till date. Very terrible company.

Is a very straight forward thing.

1. Get a Payoneer (this will be used to withdraw your earnings from Etsy)

2. Get a PayPal business account (this will be used in selling your stuffs on Etsy)

3. Get a virtual credit card (VCC) You can use your Payoneer card in place of the VCC (this will be used to complete your shop set up and to pay your listing fees when due)

These are the major things you need to create your Etsy account and set up your shop to start selling and ultimately make some money. Note, you can create your Etsy account without the listed items above. But you can't open your shop to list your products without those items.

Yes, Etsy do direct deposit, and with Payoneer you can receive Etsy payment directly to your US bank account which Payoneer made available to you. This is why Payoneer is a must have. You can't use the Nigeria PayPal account for Etsy. You need a PayPal account that can receive money and it must be a PayPal business account.

You don't need to be confused. You will need both Payoneer and PayPal to sell and cash out on Etsy.
PayPal is what buyers will use to buy your stuffs on Etsy
While Payoneer is what you will use to withdraw your earnings from Etsy.

VCC is a requirement to complete your registration and setting up of your shop. Payoneer card may work. But I can't guarantee it because I use a VCC to set up my account and not Payoneer card. Although I also have a Payoneer Card. You will want to give it a trial wih your Payoneer card.

The primary reason why many people are complaining about payment gateways on this thread is because everybody here is sticking to Shopify.

If you just want a single store that can accept credit card and sell globally, then that is not an impossibility. Have you heard of Woo? I mean woocomerce. With Woocomerce, you can achieve just that.

You can even sell Print On Demand (POD) products like T-shirts, leggings etc in your store and have it shipped to your customers in almost any country of the world by your Print company without your intervention.

And by full-fledged e-commerce store, I don't mean a single store that you can use to sell your products globally. I actually meant a multi-vendor store that have the ability to let other people create their own stores and sell on your own turn key e-commerce platform just like what eBay, Etsy and Amazon are doing.

As a matter of fact, I'm planning to launch such an e-commerce platform in the near future because right now my hands are tied down with my social network that I'm building. Otherwise I would have started it already right here in Nigeria. The future is very bright bro.

So forget whatever you are thinking bro.
Shopify is not the only e-commerce solution to run an international e-commerce store. There are other options with unlimited possibilities.
