the point is chelsea created far more chances because the referee allowed it. he was handing them freekicks in dangerous areas and whenever luiz tackled rooney, he ignored it. count the number of freekicks chelsea had in the game versus the number of freekicks united shoulda had. it was a 50-50 game and chelsea won simply because the referee was incompetent.

Chelsea played with more urgency and passion in d second half. When you do that (particularly at home) there is greater chance of getting tight calls to going your way.
