Mr_TA: Wesley Brown is the answer. rio should start tomorrow or start against the scousers on sunday. his latest injury isn't his perennial back injury so it's not really bad. as long as he does not hurt his back, we should coast till may knowing we have a solid defence. mind you, chris smalling is making a strong case. he has been excellent. |

biolabee: nobody talked about kos my own is that we hv players thatare overpaid for their level of skill and cannot command such wages else where yet AW keeps faith with them whether it is repeated on the big ben,, defense wins titles.
AWs first titles were won by Tony Adams, Keown, Winterburn and Seaman are you serious? is koscielny not better than vidic anymore? this defender didn't lose a single tackle in the french league before coming to arsenal. i think he's better than maldini. |

Mr_TA: A quick word on two of our players in yesterday's match. First VDS. Wow. What a keeper. He's going to be a huge miss and considering how we struggled to replace our last great keeper I hope this isnt as bad. VDS was a life saver so calm, assured and a fantastic presence. He might not pull out wonder saves but I wouldnt swap him for anyother keeper in the world.
Secondly is Hernandez, kid is ridiculous. He finishes everything, bet he always finishes his dinner too! chicharito is quality. by far the bargain of the season by a distance. he should win the young player award. he must have the best goals/min stat in the whole epl. |

duduspace: As the ever progressive and forward looking person that I am, I can't help but notice that Ryo Miyaichi got 2 assists and won a penalty while Feyenoord beat Groningen 5-1 today. Also Feyenoord have now gone unbeaten since Miyaichi joined them and have since started a steady climb up the Eeredivisie table. I hereby plead with Japan to cap this boy so we can bring him over in the summer, seems we're all agreed that we need to call time on Rosicky's career with us, we can't have this boy helping Feyenoord while we could be using him at times like this. still deluded. . . . . miyaichi would have single-handedly delivered a trophy veterans like van persie, rosicky and arshavin couldn't deliver? keep representing arsenal as their most brilliant member on this forum. mad props to you. |

HMmmmmmmmmmmm Henry left Arsenal and Touched a trophy, Hleb has done same today(From Barca to Stuttgart to Birmingham) very soon Flamingo will do same at AC Milan. Fab4 what are you waiting for? until wengay and his papa ijebu hand distroy you at young age. same as seb larsson. the excuse before was that arsenal had no money to spend because they were building a stadium. it's a new era now, there's money, they have the best squad in the league(according to the deluded gooners themselves) and yet they failed to win a cup final against birmingham of all teams. |

Come to the US and see Igbo students compared to Yoruba Go to Germany and Singapore, South Africa just to mention a few, the story is the same Go to Ghana, our neighbour, the story is similar. Igbos beat Yoruba everywhere
UK has lost attraction as a destination for Niaja student because of cost consideration Nigerians now even go as far as Australia, Philippines, Canada etc to study Moreover, an average Yoruba family is poorer than an average Igbo family So you cannot claim to be able to go study abroad more than the Igbo If you claim so, please provide the proof. you are a tool! |

I have said it time and time again on this thread we have no leaders in the team and it showed today irrespective of who played also wenger is a poor tacticianand it showed by removing our most potent threat in van persie and arshavin and keeping rosicky who is evidently past his prime
spitter of bunkum true words. there is no leader in the team. koscielny is a naive defender. his posture caused the confusion. if you are not going to clear the ball, stay out of the goalkeeper's sight and let him catch the ball. koscielny dummied like he was clearing the ball only to fool his own goalkeeper as well and martins just tapped in. when ferguson went for chris smalling, arsene wenger went for koscielny. |

debosky: Don't be silly - the offside decision was a MISTAKE - the linesman didn't see the man was onside, and made a genuine error.
Clattenburg sees the foul and yet fails to give a red card - two completely different situations. clattenburg didn't see rooney use his elbow. he thought it was a coming together of two players. rooney was lucky but then the wigan defender knew what he was doing blocking rooney's path. |

norrisman: Koscielny played no part in the cock up! It was the rookie keeper that messed it all up, any decent defender listens to his goalkeeper as the keeper can see what he cant hence the resaon he withdrew form the ball when he heard the shout from Szcezny. We saw this happen between Toure and Hart earlier on in the season. With all of Kolo's experience he left the ball once instructed by Hart and the mix up resulted in a Blackburn goal. vidic will clear that ball. rio will shoot that ball to the stands. the first rule is deal with the ball first before listening to the goalkeeper especially at that point in the game. until arsene wenger gets quality defenders instead of the buy one get one free tramps he signs every now and then, the club will never win a trophy. |

chamotex: Nice win but we have to start killing teams off early though.
P.S - O'Shea's ball control is really poor. I wonder if he could control a REMOTE. unless fergie rested rafael for the big games coming next week, then oshea's inclusion today was lethargic. john o'shea's logic process is delayed by at least 15 seconds. it takes more seconds for his brain to function and do the right thing. he cannot pass, he cannot run, he doesn't mark tight and i still don't see what he adds to the defence. people say he's got height but i am yet to see him compete aerially and win. |
Family › Re: Help, How Do I Cope With A Verbally Abusive Husband by Cougar2: 12:23am On Feb 26, 2011 |
flak: hi nairalanders, i just joined this forum hoping to get some useful advice.
I have been married for 5 years with a dose of the happy, good, bad and ugly moments. I really need help on how to cope with a verbally abusive husband that i have endured all these while.
i have left the house once to go to a friends place when i got tired of his rantings only to come back and get beaten up while i was 4 months pregnant.
He apologised but i cant seem to get it off my mind. The last straw is trying to paint me as a 'witch' because he lost his job (nationwide bank layoffs) recently with the help of some false prophets who rally around him because of money. He is still very much financially ok cos he is was a part of top management team and has good prospects of getting another job. I think he is using that as a weapon because i insisted i want to get a job.He believes because he did not allow me get a job i am using my 'imagined evil powers' to bewitch him and his job.
I am a chartered accountant and was previously working with stanbic ibtc. I had to leave when he almost suffocated me with complaints. I resigned hoping he would change his mind about his position but no after 3 years.
I have my own faults because i am not a kind of person that pretends i am happy when i am not. i have insisted that either i get a job or nothing else. i have lost all trust in him and he is smart enough to notice it. Any mention of my job it is another rain of verbal abuse but i really am past caring.i have lost all confidence in him because i find it strange that after 5 years he now thinks i am evil becuse i want a job.
truth is i am beginning to break down with his incessant abuses, control freakish attitude and always right attitude. i have 3 children . pls advise me on coping strategies. marriage is an entrapment. |
