excanny:he had a mobile police unit as his security so they took him to safety whilst cultists looted the contents of his bulletproof limousine. after the mayhem, 5 million naira and assault rifles were declared missing. thameamead:he shipped 14 of his children(at once) to buckingham university in 96-97 circa. |
gohome:you are ignorant. |
Arisekola Alao is a crook who made billions from selling out his kinsmen to Sani Abacha. He is the only Ibadan chieftain who has been stoned and arrested by irate University of Ibadan students.
this is incorrect! arisekola alao is a businessman. he's never a crook, started as a car dealer in ibadan. then made his billions by supplying foodstuffs to ecomog. he has never held any political post in nigeria so i dunno why people are saying he's a crook! |
vinisky:i don't know what you guys were expecting. there's a reason united set up like that against opponents away from home. united have the best away record in europe and that is because of the way fergie set his team. marseille will be destroyed at old trafford. the performance yesterday was great. chris smalling once again was outstanding. nani murdered heinze but sadly couldn't do anything meaningful with the final ball. i am confident united will go through. HNIC:i'd rather be a cunt like gary neville than be a fruitless manager like arsene wenger. what neville has won in football is much more than what any other player have won in the whole premier league. |
eghost247:nigeria is a nation of 3 countries. the colonial masters were wrong from the very beginning. there's no common ground or common denominator in an igbo man and an hausa man. they are so different. |
pro01:jide kosoko's movie(asiri nla) was the first home video of it's kind in nigeria. several months before living in bondage was released. |
fstranger3:especially the scene where the king was asking his chiefs "which of you isn't a naughty person"?? that was class. tunde kelani is talented and these are yoruba actors who have worked with seasoned producers all over the world. tunde kelani was in "tears of the sun" in 2003 and olu jacobs was a security officer in "ashanti" back in the days. fstranger3:i don't quite see it that way. the igbos invest more in their movies than the yorubas but their story-lines are crappy most of the time. yoruba movies are often substandard in terms of production and budget but the story-lines make more sense. |
fstranger3:saworoide is a classic. i don't think it can be enjoyable to watch if done in another language.
Yorubas are trying to compete against an Igbo bastion. We ceded you all the music industry, just let us have the movie industry. You all cannot be good at everything.
![]() |
fstranger3:you can't go wrong with these two but they are not really commercially oriented. tade releases classical movies like once in 4 years and tunde kelani does his like once a year. not like the zeb/chico ejiros that produce 50 movies per week with substandard quality and mediocre actress. there's no igbo movie in the history of nigeria that will stand next to owoblow or madam dearest. |
fstranger3:many yoruba movies and many theatre groups were there then. . . . Just accept the truth and shame the devilare you ruggedman in disguise? |
pro01:you will find out that asiri-nla(great secret) by jide kosoko came out before 'living in bondage'. |
quoted or not,he has not come out to refute the report. If truly nollywood is truly a representative of nigeria movie industry, why this kind of tribalistic comment from peter ? ![]() what is bad in that if the movie industry supports it ? are we not all one naija ? why the segregation ?
i think i know where the problem lies. the majority of these nollywood movies are produced/directed by the igbos. zeb ejiro/chico ejiro/lancelot imasuen and it's only natural for these men to give the roles to igbo youths. nollywood in itself is too igbocentric. that they speak english doesn't really make it a national cake. let us just assume all english speaking nollywood movies are igbo movies. 9ja voice:this is a valid point. the folks in nigeria don't care about these movies like the nigerians in diaspora. the chinese are making loads of money pirating nigerian movies in america. |
ibos are not competing with anybody yet peter edochie is complaining about olu jacobs taking all available movie roles ?
did pete edochie really complain or was quoted out of context? |
tithe:get two tabby cats in your house. . . . .and the rats will flee. |
HNIC:yes, wenger has won every game against man utd in the last 3 years including the league fixture this season. |
whatever that means. . . . .you still need orientation to think every gadget/device must be broken to enjoy it. this is such an irresponsible way of thinking. if you want to play other games on your console, get another console that plays the games you want. imagine if your dad owns sony, would you be happy? you point accusing fingers at the leaders in your country but what most of you do in your households is way worse. |
oyb:then you need an orientation. |
Evil Brain:why would anyone wanna jailbreak his console? at the expense of going online? what is ps3 without ur ability to play other users online? penny wise, pound foolish. take yourself out of this place before i send sony hacks to your abode. ![]() |
ARSENE WENGER: HOW MARSEILLE CAN BEAT UNITED The last 16 Champions League tie between Marseille and Manchester United could be compared to our match against Barcelona - they were the favourites, just as United will be for this game.if wenger knows how to beat united? why hasn't he done that in the past 6 games against united? |
HNIC:that is what happens when you play players with no team chemistry and expect them to do a decent job against bottom sides. the bottom sides have formed an understanding cos they play together week in week out. football is a team game. one cannot just lump individuals together and expect them to always do a job. it backfires more often than not. |
Oh we got low self esteem now because we don't agree with the scamming? SMH. In that case, I rather have low self esteem THAN to be somebody's fool for three years.
ignore the self esteem. concentrate on the low intelligence. it's just amusing you can sit your fat behind thousands of miles away behind a computer screen and work out a broke jobless bloke in nigeria is a scammer without any evidence but imagination plucked out of your fat anus. seriously, i am shocked. |
I'd love to have CQ back, its the least he could do after the money laundering scam aka Bebe signing.
bebe will do great things next season. i have no doubt in my mind. i know a special player when i see one and the boy has something special. the fact that he was playing in a 3rd league division in portugal is the reason for his crude skills. all that will be refined in no time. there's work to be done but there's talent in there. |
errm, Cougar you can call me a 'tool' just make sure I'm the 'hammer'Tool - One who lacks the mental capacity to know he is being used. A fool. A cretin. Characterized by low intelligence and/or self-steem. |
Its what Im getting at in a roundabout way. Im looking forward to a more consistent team selection although I do understand the need for rotation. I just dont think the squad depth is good enough considering we're still missing Valencia and Park for another month atleast.
the squad depth is the best in england but fergie's computer analysis loves preserving the senior squad players unnecessarily. did you see city's team today against notts county?dzeko, tevez, silva, etc despite playing europa league on thursday? if fergie was playing the same notts county, you would see fergie resting the entire senior squad and picking players who don't have any iota of team chemistry and he expects them to do a job and it's wrong. we really miss the tactical expertise of carlos queiroz. fergie himself confessed he benefited a lot from the expertise of quieroz. we should get him back at all cost. |
You is on that TRICK A BEETCH movement just like my baby sister said. That a gotdamn shame.
if you decide to be with a jobless man then it's guaranteed you are going to be coughing out money for his upkeep. does that mean you are being scammed? were you forced into the relationship at knife-point? mrs chima, it's the poster's choice/prerogative to fall in love with a jobless man. this man has not scammed anyone here. |
Just because he admitted that he is broke that LESSEN THE SCAMMING DEGREE?
that's not the point. the point is it was still up to imari to send him money in nigeria. he has not paraded himself as a business man who wants some money in advance for goods that don't exist. he is a broke jobless man in nigeria who is in love. it's up to the partner to either take him in spite of his broke-arse or dump him. the poster chose to be with a broke man so where is the scam?Imari:exactly my point. the only way to be 100% sure he's not scamming you is to travel down yourself and see where he lives. marry him in a court in nigeria if possible then ship his arse to america with you. that's the only way your fears can be subdued. |
Im more interested in the consecutive big games we have coming up. Chelsea away, Liverpool away, CL, Arsenal home etc. March is going to be great.
those games are bread n butter. i am more worried playing west ham away, wigan away than playing chelsea/liverpool away. in big games, fergie rarely toys with his starting eleven. against bottom sides, he might play himself as a central defender. ![]() |
Imari:if he's broke in nigeria, no woman would sleep with him - that is standard.
The only person that is a SCUM is the one that scamming the poster. There is nobody IN THERE RIGHT MIND is going to fall in love with someone that they haven't met for THREE YEARS. A year would have made sense, but THREE YEARS? Even you know that don't make no gotdamn sense. Now I do agree with YOU on the fact that if she wants to be generous with her money and support his lifestyle that is her choice and right. It is her money. We can't tell her what she can or cannot do with her money. She is the only one that will suffer the consequences not us. It is important to MEET the person BEFORE starting any serious relationship because the person may not be what they are to be. BUT THEN AGAIN, people do what they want and ONLY THEY WILL suffer the consequence and the kids if they have some. Everybody that gave her sound advices and warnings were on point. I got a feeling that she will continue regardless of what we tell her. I wish her all the luck and cosmic energy she will need.
how is he scamming the poster? the boy was honest enough to say he's broke. honest enough to admit he's jobless. where is the scam here? |
smh @ poster. you are being played/used. confront him and based on the result/his reaction move on mah dear. but dont beat urself up, you were just inlove, and thathappens sometimes (being used). Just pick yourself up and take it as a lesson learned. You will be okay sweetie.
and you know this because you are psychic? |
Imari:pay no attention to the scums discouraging you. granted, there have been many cases of men using americans as cash machines but this does not suggest your own boy is doing the same. if you love him, make time and visit nigeria to see what he's really up to. it might save you lots of cash you are yet to spend on this boyfriend of yours. who knows - this boy might actually be genuine. go to nigeria and check him out before sending big amounts of money to him. |
HNIC:i heard the same news 3 yrs ago when arsenal visited old trafford with sparkling form. after 90 mins, wenger's team lost 4-0 to fergie. the excuse then was wenger cares more about the league and the champions league than the fa cup. ![]() |
ritchboy:this performance is worse than eboue's performance some years ago when arsenal fans booed eboue off? ![]()
Looks like Arsenal in the next round of the FA Cup.
it's the end of the road for arsene wenger then. the carling cup final becomes important all of a sudden as pep guardiola and alex ferguson stand in wenger's way of progressing in europe and in the fa cup. |

.
