dayokanu:just add nani! |
Joyland:money is virtue. ![]() |
duduspace:they did and they all said messi's goal was legit. i can show you a link if you press further. All the more reason why yu shld be worried. Arsenal built a stadium worth over 450m in the same period and have since paid down that debt to 147m without any trophies, while yur debt has been around since 2005 and you couldn't pay any substantial chunk of it despite all the football success you had. Are yu thinking at all? or is it when you have less success you intend to pay it off?worried? now i know why they call you mumuface!!! ![]() how can i be worried over a club that has the highest attendance in the whole of europe? you don't have a clue. the glazers paid off 220 million pounds pik loans just last year in one big swoop. if the price is right, they are selling the club to that rich family in qatar for 1.8 billion and i should be worried? i should be more worried over a club who hasn't won a penny in the past six seasons!!!! i laugh in koscielny. ![]() |
duduspace:lair! sky did not show this game live, itv did. And only a stonehearted dimwit would be blind to a debt of over 450m and year on year losses without any major investment in infrastructure despite what that same dimwit accepts is a once in a lifetime windfall of 80m from a single player transaction.the same debt that has been around since 2005 which also coincided with man utd's most succesful period? you don't have a clue. |
duduspace:it's a pity a seasoned football fan like you does not offside the rule. even with the rebound and deflection, messi was still onside and his goal should have counted. anyways, i doubt it would matter next week when leo would run rings around the chumps in your defence for the second season running. that already accounts for over 30% of our present loss. A club that makes a turnover over 100m can afford a once in a life time loss of 2.5 million if yur debt ridden club can survive with a perpertual debt burden over 450m. and continual losses over 10m year on year.only an unrepentant fool would compare united's finances with a lightweight like arsenal. besides, the 2.5 million loss is a half-year report. who knows the loss your trophyless club would post by september when the annual accounts are posted? |
duduspace:if and when it comes, it is false! weren't you one of those who claimed Barcelona would beat us at the emirates? did you come back to eat your words? let Barcelona knock us out first and then run your mouth.they should have beaten you but arsenal got the rub of the green when messi's legit goal was ruled offside. As at the present, we are doing better than we did last season.the difference between the 2nd and 3rd placed in terms of money is less than 1 million pounds. i don't see how that will turn arsenal's fortunes around all of a sudden. |
v3:how did gerrard get away with this one last season? https://i42.tinypic.com/2r20kch.gif https://i43.tinypic.com/34hbd77.gif all we ask for is consistency and the fa used their common sense for once. you cannot punish rooney for what he did and ignore what gerrard did. |
montelik:i concur. . . . .mccartney fell down like a doll and he was immediately rushed to the hospital suffering concussion that would keep him out for 12 months while danny welbeck didn't even flinch. welbeck just touched his face and got on with his game like nothing happened. |
nateevs:i am not even confident they can beat leyton orient at the emirates. ![]() |
duduspace:you are dumb. this is a false dawn and if you cannot see beyond your nose then i cannot help you. a trophyless season will still be a trophyless season until you actually win something. so if you think playing in the final of a carling cup is a mark of improvement then you are deluded. arsenal got knocked out in the quarter final in europe last season, you would go out next week in the round of 16. is that an improvement? even if you finish 2nd on the league table, the only incentive is you would qualify for europe next season automatically which is also the same incentive the 3rd placed team would enjoy. ![]() |
BinghiNya:the vidic vs torres issue is the biggest myth in english football. in september 2008, vidic got sent off for two yellows in a game torres didn't even play in. march 2009: yes, vidic made a gigantic fuckup for their equalizer, letting torres in. the red card, however, was because of bringing down gerrard who would have been clean through. october 2009: vidic got sent off for a foul against kuyt. torres scored the first goal by outpacing a half-fit rio ferdinand. torres scored a grand total of one goal which had anything to do with vidic. there's so much hogwash written about vidic and torres by the lethargic english media. torres has scored 3 goals in 7 games against man utd, of which only 1 goal had anything to do with vidic. torres scored 7 in 8 against chelsea, saha has scored 7 in 8 against chelsea. yet no one talks about john terry being owned by them, but everyone talks about torres owning vidic completely forgetting vidic has kept torres in his pocket more than five times in the last 4 seasons |
violent:at least such chaos wouldn't leave 300 civilians dead in one night. Asides that, it's better for countries such as Egypt to take the lead than the US.gadaffi brought this on himself. united states didn't advise him to kill his own people. oil fields or no oil fields, i support foreign invasion. tunisia and egypt have gone through this phase, why didn't united states show interest then? bahrain nko? when david cameron and obama were silent about this crisis, libyans blamed them for their non-challant attitude. now they wanna make the move and we are here saying they want to do so because of the oil fields! |
dayokanu:which is more appropriate? mumuface or fufuface? ![]() |
gaddafi hasn't covered himself in glory. i sanction a foreign invasion. any leader who deliberately launches death squad on his own people needs to be taught a lesson. |
dayokanu:try fufuface ![]() |
jamebex:this is hilarious. i dunno why arsenal think they will win the premier league. a team that cannot beat birmingham when it mattered the most cannot win the league. arsenal players just don't know how to win any competition again. |
X-factoria:ezeuche in his delusion would tell you the culprits are yoruba masquerading as igbo boys. |
duduspace:birmingham and tottenham have done better than arsenal in the past 6 seasons. stop kidding yourself you have done better at this stage than you did last year. you have won nothing yet. if barca kick arsenal out next week then the picture will become clearer to you. |
1025:arsenal will finish mid-table. |
lalaboi:gerrard did this earlier in the season and there was no witch-hunt. what gerrard can get away with, rooney will also get away with it. https://i55.tinypic.com/dzi6i8.jpg |
JJay1:thanks for this link. it's quite illuminating. this is a man that sold 17% of the total vehicles in nigeria in the 70s and people are still bent in thinking he made his money via abacha! |
montelik:gabby obertan has a future at old trafford. fergie won't sell him. |
debosky:the general performance of the team was woeful. none of the arsenal players played to their capabilities. i cannot blame one single player for the loss apart from koscielny who gave obafemi martins the easiest chance only yakubu can miss. ![]() |
debosky:he fumbled the ball because he wasn't expecting the ball to come to him. let's assume koscielny wasn't in the picture at all, would szczesny have fumbled the ball? it was koscileny's dummy that fooled szczesny - end of story. v3:szczesny cannot assume koscielny was going to miss the ball. when you attempt to leave the ball, you leave it completely without swinging a leg. the dummy fooled szczesny. ignore what any keeper says/screams - if you're right there, three yards from your goal line and the ball is there to be hit into row z, then hit in into row z(carr of birmingham had that situation time and time again yesterday with a communication break down with ben foster) and he cleared the ball on each occasion. your team-mates might well give you a bollicking but at least the ball will be in row z and not sitting in the back of your net. everyone of us who has played football have done this - being indecisive over a call that might cost the team. the rule is take control and ask/answer the questions later. on that note, koscielny is 100% culpable for the bleep-up. Kos is a good as they come, abi u wan tell me say nobody don commit dat type of blunder beforethat game was far too important to arsenal than gerrard picking out drogba or fergie kicking johnny evan's behind. 89th minute of a cup final and a defender does that to his team? a team that hasn't won a dime in six years? i'd deduct koscielny's wages if i were in wenger's shoes. did you see the look wilshere gave koscielny after the goal? priceless! |
jay bee:for real? you better go back to ibadan and get this man to sort you out with government contracts. arisekola is the most generous human being on the planet. |
debosky:how is szczesny at fault? kos can't pull out of clearing the ball at that distance from the keeper. szczesny was surprised koscielny didn't and had no time to react properly! @ Kitwhat is edie funfun? you have lost your ability to spell because of yesterday's loss? it's adie not ediye, you gbongan w@nker! ![]() |
Ramnon.2:so these links are supposed to tell me an average igbo family is richer than his yoruba counterpart? i'm sorry for the future of today's nigerian graduates. |
JJay1:i concur. . . . . .he supplied all the datsun cabs in ibadan and the whole of west african region in the 70s. he has been a billionaire before abacha or ibb ever dreamt of becoming military rulers. of course, he made more money in the ibb regime(ecomog), and abacha regime(cash donations) but he was very comfortable before those mallams came to power. |
Mr_TA:if giggs doesn't retire, we will never get sanchez. |
debosky:koscielny, having decided to hoof it originally, should simply have stuck with that idea no matter what szczesny said. koscielny was the person in full control of what to do about it when that ball first landed and row z was the obvious option. to pull out like that in the last second is enough to cause a young goalkeeper a problem. |
debosky:nonsense. where is the evidence your goalie called for the ball? if he called for the ball then he wouldn't have spilled it. the fact is, he wasn't expecting the ball. he expected koscielny to clear the danger. you guys should stop deceiving us the keeper called for the ball. there was no communication at all between koscielny and the goalie. koscielny was at fault and he should be clearing that ball. . . . then you come here to tell us it was a mistake and it's the same with terry slipping in moscow. are you still deluded? anyone going into a penalty shootout knows it's a 50-50. birmingham scored from open play in what should have been a routine catch for your goalie if the defence had done their job. there's no luck in football. arsenal lost yesterday because you don't have quality players in your defence. maybe koscielny was unlucky to have been born brain-dead but then it begs the question. . . . . .why does he play for arsenal? |
HNIC:are you serious? i thought it was a "tongue in diccccck" comment since gaynners are gays. ![]() |
