CHILDREN: Children can be gotten without marriage, for example: C. Ronaldo, Mikel, and others did that and they are doing well.

And those are broken, ratchet homes. It's just a fact that kids benefit more from a proper, married household.

GOOD MEALS: Foods can be gotten from outside or prepared by the man or any other person that is not a wife for the man. Moreover, how many of them can cook well like our mothers? I'm a better cook than most ladies I have come across.

It's not about the food. It's about the love and care in it. It's about someone that makes sure you eat well, gets your favorite on your birthday, cooks you something soothing when you're sick, and takes over cooking when you're really tired.

COMPANIONSHIP: That is an overstatement in our present society. It is even more noticeable in dating relationship than in some marriages these days.

Chose better and do better and maybe you won't have that problem.

SEX: That is the cheapest service/thing to get after air and water(clean water is even more expensive). Moreover many marriages are lacking sexually. It is worse if the man has high sex drive aka high libido.

It's a sign of poor mental health and education that you view intimacy and human beings in that way.

And intimacy problems in marriages are a result of laziness in looking after the relationship. They're also a result of ignorance where some people think their partner is a machine.

SUPPORT: I don't want to go there because it is an open fact that instead of getting support, the man is being leached/milked of the one he has.

Again, choose better. Stop looking for slay queens, and find someone who's a good partner.

HOME: I can still remember how some married men will pack their cars at the junction, stay inside their cars for long before driving home, some go to the bar/relaxation centers to chill before going home, some don even like going home. You all know why?

Some guys work very hard, and they need a breather before tackling household responsibilities. Women are no different. That's life. Even single people may do this. It is what it is.

But some guys are immature. They don't go home because they want to be single while married. And they want to have all the married benefits with none of the work. They may have married too soon.

Now, my question is "WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF MARRIAGE TO A MAN IN THIS OUR TIME?"

Marriage isn't for everyone. However, an educated, well-adjusted person generally doesn't ask this question.

You're arguing over a point that was never made.

However, this is another example of African preference. Oyinbos are threatened by the preference, so one of the ways they try to undermine African men is employment and perception. They don't want there to be tons of black men with good jobs because they realize one of the very few ways they can maintain any interest from women is their job, earnings, and title. Nonblack males have zero confidence in their appeal. They feel they basically have to pay women to want them. lol

When Asian men go abroad, foreign women don't care they exist. But a poor, average black man can easily sleep with and marry local women.

Women will even risk backlash to be with African men. They'll get disowned by their family for their black husband.

No one does that for Chinese, Arabs, or Indians. Chinese, Arab, and Indian men are punchlines.

Women all over the world will pay to access African men. They'll shower African men with so many gifts that it's a source of income. They'll pay to bring African men to their country, not expect them to work, and have tons of their children. There are men in monogamous marriages, never married, and with several divorces who have kids all over the place, are dysfunctional, do not care for their children, and fall into poverty. If those circumstances are not an indictment of monogamy then Abiola doesn't have anything to do with polygamy.

People stop putting effort into the relationship. Like, people get fat, stop grooming well, stop trying to surprise each other, stop making time for each other, or whatever. Then weeds grow over the romance. A little romance can go a long way I think. It doesn't have to be expensive.

It can also be that the relationship matures into another phase. In that phase, expression of love and attraction are different. I also think it's a matter of "love language" and libido because the next phase may feel different depending on those characteristics in each partner.

You just have to make a genuine effort and be understanding.
