Nigeria is a failed state.

That’s exactly the reason bandits and terrorists are having a field day and the problem intractable. No surprises when gangsters and lunatics have taken over the asylum. Why would the country get better when you have APC sycophants and mediocres defending ineptitude, incompetence and corruption in broad daylight.

I’m since done with this sh.it. What a fake life. Until there is justice, equity and fairness in the system it’s a waste of time for everybody. Nigeria will never succeed when the worst rule the best, where there is wealth without enterprise, where tribalists, ethnic jingoists and “religious” irredentists hold sway for narrow, primordial, archaic agendas.

This is the bitter truth and until we accept that truth no one will ever take us serious, ever! Take the green passport and go to Kenya or any average African country or Turkey etc and let us see how you will be treated whether as the citizen of the supposedly giant of Africa or a reject of the earth.

You find out I’m right when in the 21st Century it is only sentimental Nigerians for the very same reasons they have ruined their country through Islamafascism claim a third world country like Iran that has not delivered an airstrike in decades has hypersonic capability only deployable by attack aircraft. Oshey lol grin

Below is the best aircraft we can offer and the best among them the JF-17 is only 3 in the 21st Century. No sea going missile armed Frigate or Destroyers. No advanced Air Defence Systems. No frontline modern MBTs in required numbers. Meanwhile politicians are getting fat and sharing money and think they can go up against potential Pantsirs, Iglas, S-300 / S-400s in Niger Republic.

We have been screaming for decades yet this is the best we’ve arrived at in 2024 with a “president” that’s on record to have forfeited narcotics money to a foreign entity, fraudulent educational background, age, nationality yet somehow still became president, only in Nigeria. That tells you all you need to know.

It's has been proven with their hit that they indeed have it.

Let Israel the crying baby prove to us they can go at it without the help of Uncle Sam.
Don’t be naive, mischievous or both. Sentiments and emotions don’t win wars except maybe on Nairaland. No evidence in the Negev of hypersonic weapons. They are expensive, exhaustible [few in numbers and in production] and come with heavy payloads/warheads or tipped with nuclear weapons for strategic warfare. Only the Russian Aerospace Forces have purportedly used it in combat, tested and now in use with the USAF, and purportedly China.

Every other thing is pure speculation. North Korea showed one on the ground recently something common with Iran to show off replicas grin Only an amateur like you would believe that.

Hypersonic weapons travel more than 5 times the speed of sound and designated as invincible. We saw those ballistic missiles come in nothing short of its usual trajectory. You won’t see hypersonic weapons except you live to tell the tale from a distance. Wait for it, Israel always delivers.

A country that needs four nations' airforce to defend its airspace grin even at that, Iran fired 7 hypersonic missiles and not even one was intercepted by the so-called advanced Allied airforce grin cheesy
Lol! Iran with hypersonic weapons grin

Well let’s assume in an Alice-wonderland-story Iran has mastered such technology grin but Nigeria is still chasing bandits in pickups grin with no end in sight.

I can’t wait for Israel to hit back and let no one come and cry me a river because we would all find out the hard way who’s actually the boss in the region and actually has F-35i launched bunker-busting hypersonic air-breathing weapon with guaranteed earth re-entry and impossible to defend against.
Foreign AffairsRe: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Covert1:
Iran fired north of 500 projectiles and only 7 or 8 found its target with minimal damage. Even if perhaps so intended no way Iran spent money it doesn’t have for only 7 or 8 to find its target. Yes it is good for the consumption of the domestic audience but the IRGC knows its limitations which is reduced to a massive barrage of surface to surface missiles in any escalated conflict aiming to destroy Israel which in modern warfare is wishful thinking.

In the latest imbroglio you would want to make a more profuse statement with at least 20 to 30 SSMs causing maximum damage to the enemy. The point is even without American or European help Israel has demonstrated its Arrow ADS, Iron Dome, David Sling, Patriot Systems [hardly employed] can keep the State of Israel alive to fight another day.

When Israel responds then everyone will find out it’s far ahead of Iran in Military technology and capability and that Tehran commands a third rate military. You’d find Israeli systems hitting targets with precision and damages for a lifetime proving technology and weapon systems that are light years ahead Iran will never match under the current mullah regimes. Israel will want to restore its deterrence capability in a retaliatory strike.

Now let’s educate amateurs with open source intelligence. When Iran was going to respond to crossover attack purportedly from Pakistan next door, it relied on what it’s clearly now its only sole deterrent capability which is long-range ballistic and cruise missiles and in some cases terror-drones to exhaust adversary air defence missiles/munitions with a 1 to 10 ratio hit of followed-up projectiles, a pattern learnt, adopted or fine tuned from the Russians in Ukraine to overwhelm air-defenses.

But a nation with credible attack capabilities don’t solely rely on long-range surface-to-surface land attack missiles or one way suicide drones as they are more prone to being shot down or disabled with electronic counter measures. This explains Iran’s weaknesses. Now enters The Pakistani Air Force which in responding at a time and place of its choosing to Iran’s SSM attack on it’s territory [ostensibly against militants] employed attack aircraft that hit precise targets in Iran [stand-off or inbound is unknown] with better accuracy and ferocity to punish Iran’s belligerence. To this day Iran has no counter. Why! Because it lacks the air capacity and capability to do so for lack of spare parts for its fighter aircraft’s owing to sanctions.

Pakistan has twice now demonstrated its first rate Air Force advanced capabilities whether stand-off, over the horizon or Air-to-Air warfare first against India a peer power and now Iran in a State-on-State combat scenario. The point is, to demonstrate and project deadly combat power with a better chance of success you need a modern and capable Air Force.

That brings us to the Israeli Air Force the best in the region and one of the best in the world flying F-35i, F-16s and different layers of AEWs both on the ground and in the air including satellite systems and a bourgeoning economy and what is increasingly subtle and direct Arab support against former Persia which is Iran a shitte Muslim state considered heretics against Sunni Islam, it stands no chance of winning a long war of attrition short of nuclear weapons. This is why Iran wants the bomb.

Verdict: Israel is first world country by many standards including Defence Force. Iran is a third rate military. Israel alone will hold its own and punish Iran more severely than Iran can in a war of retaliatory strikes. If the US, UK & the EU gets involved Israel will eventually crush the Shitte Regime in Tehran [Russia, China, North Korea will not directly come to its aid] and it will erode home support for its state sponsored terror foreign policy for survival.

See video for the Israeli Military Commander’s resolute retaliatory warning and the beautiful IAF F-35i in the background sending Iran a psychological message of whats to come. Those Birds will hit Iran in punishing strikes where it hurts and be on its way home before Iran realises it had been hit and it will likely be its Nuclear Weapons Sites, something Israel had begged for the day to come it would have the pretext to destroy what is an existential threat.

I don't think the issue has got to this.
Until we start looking for someone to help us hold the baby and the bath water. Why would the US be willing to go to war during the Cuban missile crisis. Why would Russia invade Ukraine and risk a wider war with NATO.

Sadly ours is now a Banana republic in all but name which is why we are still battling Boko Haram and Bandits for near two decades because we failed to be proactive and anticipate future threats.

I will predict right here these Military regimes in the region especially Tiani’s in Niger Republic will come home to roost. Never before in Nigeria’s history that we told a Niger Republic to stand down and they failed to do so. Now we bend to their will. Would never have happened under President Obasanjo. I don’t believe it will ever have happened under a Peter Obi Presidency with OBJ as his political mentor and a campaign full of seasoned Generals or somebody with Datti Baba Ahmed’s personality.

Nigeria is a nation in decline. Tell me one person in the current administration that has the credentials to change the status quo. None, zip! nader! You have a Defense Minister who failed in security as a State Governor but got appointed to such sensitive role. It is I chop you chop government. Incompetent people in power.

The NIA Director is a ni.com.poop. He’s tenure has been a disaster. Nigeria is annoying, been that way for ages. Tiani and Goita however irresponsible they are as military officers to take power with Presidential Guard or Command powers given to them are more competent than these folks in APC put together.

These guys are definitely Spetsnaz. They are not messing around. What options do we have in the event of war, a blitzkreig with more focus on the Army perhaps. Niger Republic lacks any credible Tank threat but one can bet the Russians may follow up on that. Right now I think Military Diplomacy should be aggressively employed by Nigeria and get the Russians not to deploy any system that alters the balance of power. While Niamey can offer the Russians Uranium and a foothold against the West in Africa they stand to lose access to Nigeria’s gas pipeline deals signed under former Russian President Medvedev seen at the time as a counter weight to the West’ energy supply. Following up Abuja may need to consider a Presidential rapprochement with Moscow and stop any further investment in the multi-billion dollar trans-Sahara rail line to Niger Republic. Right now this government is all over the place with no coherent foreign policy. General Tiani [a trained officer] and his junta understands what a credible threat is to his regime [which is Nigeria] and is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his survival. We are just playing catch up.

I didn’t support an invasion at the time of the coup neither was I averse to it. My only fear was the man in Abuja didn’t win legitimately and that’s a problem in going to war either to gain that legitimacy or for true national motives of National Security but either way under the circumstances he came to power he’d quickly lose national support if things don’t go according to plan quickly assuming if the capture of the State House in Niamey exceeds 30 or 60 to 90 days. It will be a disaster and death knell on any re-election prospects [not that I see that happening anyway regardless]. However my hunch was right the risk was worth it to invade and get rid of the military regime which has become a cancer across the region and itself [military rule] an existential threat against Nigeria’s democracy long term. Nigeria should have invaded and dislodged Brig. Gen. Tiani in the early days of the coup. I only saw in him another Abacha in the making. When dictators come all they do is fight for regime survival and that now has become our albatross.

Unfortunately, it is air defense systems they are installing. I just heard it on the BBC.

If they are bringing in air defense systems, then one has to ask why air defense systems? Are they bringing them because they are anticipating a major power coming to attack their bases, or they are bringing the air defense systems to protect the regime?

The countries that have bases around Niger with a significantly better airforce than Niger are Algeria and Nigeria. Obviously, Niger faces no threat from Algeria as the Algerians won't be flying down to Niamey any time soon. We also have always had good relations with Niger. But I suspect the junta there feels we may change our mind and decide to insist that they go so in their estimation, they can hold off our soldiers on the ground but since they won't be able to come up with any thing in the air, they need outside help from the Russians. But this is still not plausible.l, I don't think.

But that question ''why air defense system?'' is a good one that needs to be answered
The answer is right there in your post. Let’s not pretend. The only reason the Junta there is prioritising Air Defence it’s because it knows it can alter the balance of power against Nigeria the regional hegemon. Nigeria is been reduced to a peer power among sub-regional nation states because of the docile uninformed foreign policy of the APC regime beginning with the worthless Buhari now exacerbated with the illegitimate government of Tinubu who doesn’t command National Loyalty nor the respect of the Armed Forces. All these are now existential threats. How come Nigeria is appeasing Niger Republic that Regime survival in Niamey has become a detriment to our National Security. This must not be allowed under any circumstances. Where is the NIA, DIA and the NSA. The Russian Ambassador should be summoned if behind the scenes overstures are not being heard. Regional powers decide what weapon systems enter their backyard. Nigeria withal, sad! Withal!

The APC is a scourge on Nigeria’s destiny. Only bad news. Assimi Goita’s junta should never have been allowed to happen, he precipitated this whole crisis from Mali to Burkina Faso, Guinea and now Niger Republic. Now an existential geopolitical threat exists right on Nigeria’s borders; a more dangerous foe not motorcycle riding bandits & maurauding terrorists with no air cover. Who knows what system its been set up, if it’s an S-300 / S-400 then you can forget Nigeria’s first strike deterrence stand-off capability. This is the heavy price you pay for an illegitimate government in Abuja.

It's a 50/50 probability. There is a high chance of Tinubu been sworn in. The truth is, most of the Generals of our armed forces think like elites, so the probability of a coup by the Generals is low except the middle ranking officers decide to step up, which is also slim
It is the right time for a coup. Junior ranking officers are disgruntled. They will have the people's backing. A drug lord can't be allowed to rule Nigeria whether his derange.d backers like it or not. I'll be here for their wailing.

I'm becoming more convinced President Muhammadu Buhari is setting Nigeria up for a coup. Everything has been thrown at this country to breaking point and now this.

Except these Supreme Court Justices spare this country with true justice by restoring the mandate of the true winner of the presidential election as reflected at the Polling Units & not legal technicalities there's no hope for Nigeria.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not be sworn in as President of Nigeria. I don't see how the Armed Forces will ever allow that to happen.

What arrant nonsense, calling Nigeria a country of bigots and ethnic irredentists. Why should they be concerned about Nigerian politics. The unintelligent newspaper corporation needs to be reminded that Germany is a nation of world war orchestrating, nazistic, Jewish xenophobic, cunning, inglorious basterds that allowed despicable dictators like Adolf Hitler and Angela Merkel to be it's leader angry.
It is not arrant nonsense. Actually the black man is a much free and dignified human being in any of those western countries than in Nigeria itself. So no you are wrong, they do their home work better than we do because of those very fault lines that is self evident even here with ethnic jingoists and irredentists.

That "unintelligent" newspaper might be richer than many of your home newspapers put together. Wake up this is not 1945 of Nazi Germany, what you have today is a modern Germany and Europe that have working systems and institutions where your criminal politicians stash their loot but impoverish their own people by perfecting state capture. This is why they point to you the facts that only in Nigeria can a Bola Tinubu be president.

In Europe or America a nobody's son or daughter or immigrant can become somebody. We are all witnesses to Barack Obama despite the prejudice. His father tried but couldn't succeed in Kenya but his mixed race son could in the world's leading power.

Africa to put it mildly is what Donald Trump says about it, its sad but if only Nigeria did the right things that narrative would change in the not too distant future but the tribes war with each other. Let's stop deceiving ourselves.

With all these, and you believe Tinubu is the best candidate, then I'm sorry for the country for you've proven that she has some of the worst citizenry.
The worst followership. You've nailed it. After every red flag that can be seen and you think its unthinkable for anyone to endorse such madness yet you see full blooded human beings with supposed brains throw their weight behind such anomaly it tells you everything you need to know about the country. Defending mediocrity in broad daylight is why INEC is brazen enough to collude with the APC and write results based on tribal base and Party divisions grin giving it what is called plausible deniability like every Nigerian are dunceses.

There are hardly any video evidence where the APC won with a convincing margin, none! This is the digital age not 1953. Exit polls and human behavioral patterns don't lie. It takes a great amount of wickedness in the heart to dispense injustice, defend it in public and lick its wounds with glee without any iota of remorse.

The election that produced President elect Tinubu was not perfect, however claiming flawed in the context you actually mean it is totally false.

Again all aggrieved candidates should go to court.

P.S - I'm not in this thread to seek validation, respect, friendship, likes or whatever form of relationship. I simply do not care about your feelings or that of any other poster in this thread.

Nigeria will succeed!!
Nobody cares either. And military pictures will not bring peace. When we say for God and country it should actually mean that and if it is it doesn't matter who wins and is president but rather the process through which they emerge for legitimacy else there will never be a command of national loyalty and those fine men you are posting in uniform will end up dying in numbers unnecessarily for an avoidable insurrection and possible war.

By the way the elections haven't been won and lost. In the eyes of the law there was no election. It is illegal and unconstitutional. Even the Tinubu has not fulfilled a fundamental requirement of 25% in the FCT, Abuja.

Like I earlier stated and still maintain. We have our problems in Nigeria while there were pockets of violence and voter intimidation this election was largely, very largely peaceful, the best candidate won and losers can got to court to prove their case according to the provisions of the law.
Nothing was "largely" peaceful. Forget the semantics. Nigerians are not dunceses except that's what you are calling us for saying there was glaring voter suppression by the late arrival of materials, thuggery, violence with prejudice etc. No one is crying rather I can assure what people think is wailing is actually doing rehearsals for a full blown conflagration that will consume everybody. You can't beat a child and ask it not to cry. The APC has crossed the line. 8 years of monumental inflation, worthless scarce Naira, 133 million people in abject poverty, insecurity with kidnappings, arson, murder, lack of basic amenities etc and now the most flawed elections in history.

The APC has been rejected going by the fabricated dollar purchased pyrrhic victory which gave your candidate Tinubu the least votes by a stretch of any presidential candidate in history but we know they don't care about credibility but power and any power not by legitimate means breeds eventual tyranny. This is the point here. You know and everyone knows the elections was programmed to deliver a Muslim-Muslim presidency.

Nigeria is now in all but name a muslim Republic where you have the outgoing president is Muslim, president-elect Muslim, Senate president Muslim, Speaker of the house Muslim and just recently the Chief Judge Muslim. And one section of the country since the end of the war has not tasted power. Really, we are going to have a lot of peace.

There was no flawed election in Nigeria.

People need to stop pushing a narrative that does not exist.
Today whatever modicum of perception I had for you declined a hundredfold. You must be living in an alternate universe or tribal sympathetic, a beneficiary one way or another of the most flawed elections in Nigeria's history. Who'd ask such a provocative question. Wasn't it provocative enough what transpired on the 25th February? Words don't exist to describe the sham that passed for an election in Nigeria 63 years after independence. Nigeria is the only country in the world that can't organize an election because criminals have perfected state capture. There is no rule of law. We keep deceiving ourselves whilst small African countries have since surpassed in every level of human societal behaviors, development and norms: Rwanda, Zambia to name a few. People now go to Rwanda for holidays and tourism and worse for diplomatic relevance. This apparent tribal divide is why Nigeria will never make progress and a thousand Tinubu's will never make Nigeria progress because you can't build on a faulty foundation of injustice.

If you must then here's the answer. INEC promised a rules based game. It outlined the rules which powers are derived from the new Electoral Act which in turn derives its powers from the Constitution. In the middle of the game the umpire or referee which is INEC changed the rules of the game. Why should any of the parties be the victim of the rule change? I believe that's a veritable question for the Honourable Justices of the Supreme Court (which many believe are already in Tinubu's pocket) to decide on so the entire world will really see how humans have been reduced to do.g.s and modern day slaves.

INEC rules: The electronic transfer of Polling Unit results directly to its Server/Portal in real time for all to see (thereby eliminating any form of manipulation in a manual exercise at the Ward, LGAs or State Collation centers). That didn't happen. Mischievous thing about is whilst National Assembly votes (House of Representatives & Senate) could be uploaded that of the Presidential could not. I'm sure INEC and the APC can explain in court.

Apparently rules can change in the middle of a football match. Will you be the first defendant?

kabe1:
There are videos online of people in the South East forcefully thumb printing for Labour party candidates.

Are we supposed to believe that Labour party scored 98% of the vote on average in the South East.

We were told the naira redesign was because of Tinubu, Force deployment also because of Tinubu etc etc

All candidates should go to court with the evidence they have.

We have not seen the Tinubu presidency yet, we cannot start claiming doom and gloom. I get you don't like Tinubu, but let's not claim he did not win this election when nothing has been proven in court.
Please I want to check something, put up videos of people committing those Electoral crimes you mentioned up there. Hearsay is not evidence in a court of law except material evidence which abound to the contrary in Tinubu APC strongholds. This is 2023 not 1953. The internet they say never forgets. Millions people around the world followed these elections in real time ob social media and on traditional media. You might want to tell us something we don't know and I don't mean this narrative you are already pushing everyone knows is a counter narrative from the APC media team. Besides your bias is self evident, to imagine you actually told the whole world that Tinubu is the best candidate.

It is said when the thief tells you to go to court know that his uncle is the judge.

International Press Publication, An Austrian Newspaper. Loosely translated: Oil billionaire with past drug links wins presidential election.

We hear he commands no respect within the Armed Forces. Really. I'm done.
