If you already got your reference letter showing just your last 3 years at work, then that'sfine. Your other work experience will be shown in your personal history. Just make sure the reference letter you got covers at least 3 complete years. Cheers

In other to prove sibling relationship, usually you will have to submit birth certificates for both you and your sibling. Typically, your birth certificate will show who your parents are. Does your cousin have documents indicating that your mum is her mum?
livewithpurpose:

Thank you because I've been worried if I should indicate it. My mom adopted her when she was 2 years old (Even though there are no legal documents to prove it). She lived with us her entire life until when she left Nigeria to study in Canada 8 years ago. We both have photos and correspondence to prove it.

Hi guys, I trust we are all doing well. I would like to advice every new person coming on this thread to first of all visit page one of this thread. That way, you are able to ask more technical and specific questions. All the basic questions are already answered on page 1.
I wish everyone the very best on this journey. And I thank you Mamaroon for starting Part 10 of this thread.

Hi skedemi
Sorry I may have misinformed you in my earlier post. Hair stylist is under NOC B. I guess the rest is for her to get a reference letter from her clients
crespo67:
Hi skedemi
You can check if her NOC is under Federal Skilled Trade because I doubt her NOC will be under the FSW. Then get what she needs to evaluate her skill. Typically, if she opts for self employed, then she will need to get reference letters from some of her clients. I am not sure how it is done. On the other hand, if she has a registered business, especially if it is a Ltd company and it is visible online. if she has workers too, she could use a NOC that describes her managerial role, and do a reference letter for herself in that position that covers those years. Gurus, hope I am not out of line..please pardon me if I am giving the wrong counsel here

Hello guys, my spouse is an hair stylist and she has HND in microbiology and also she has 1 year experience as a lab assistant and over 4 years experience in hair styling as she works independently.
So I discovered if I make her the PA with our IELTS scores, our CRS score is 472. So I want to ask if the 4 years experience in hair styling is acceptable and what kind of proof would be needed to back it up?

Thanks guys

No, it won't increase your current CRS score.
smartkester:
Guys please can one with an MSc still opt in for BCS to boost CRS, would this help to increase point or the MSc is enough?.

Someone should help clarify me please

Hi oko134
Congrats on your ITA. I can attempt to answer your questions
1. For POF, mearge all documents into one PDF document. For me, I think it should be done in an easy to follow order. Like starting with the gift deed, bank cheque transfer, bank reference, non indebtedness and statement if account.
2. The work reference date it was prepared doesn't matter. What matters is that it covers the period for the experience you are claiming points for.
3. Pay stubs are not a requirement by IRCC. People provide those to prove work history when they are unable to provide adequate work reference as per IRCC requirement. As far as your work reference letters are good and prepared by the organization on the company letter headed papers and follow the IRCC format, you are fine. However, if you feel you need to attach pay stubs, then go ahead.
All the best
oko134:
Good Morning everybody.

Special thanks to everybody that has contributed towards the building of this thread. It is heavy and lengthy but worth reading all the time.

I am fortunate to be one of those who got ITA on August 05.

I have succeeded in filling out the forms for Permanent Residence. I already have a document checklist and I have tried to gather all the documents needed.

However, so many things are confusing based on the cic site configuration and it's clear that previous experience will help, hence, I decided to run to the lords here for counsel.

1. For PoF:

I have a Zenith Bank Reference Letter (they did not include the opening balance or the balance as at the day the letter was done), in addition, I got my statement of account (8 pages) for a six month period, I also got a letter of Non-Indebtedness.

I got some money from my mom. To this effect, I have a notarised Deed of Gift, A bank Transfer Teller from my mom and electronic evidence from the bank to the effect of the transfer.

On the cic website, you can upload only once for each document type (like PoF)

My question is, should I merge all the documents into a single pdf and upload it once or I should upload only the Bank Reference and add others under the optional documents section.

2. Work Reference Letters

I got all my Work Reference Letters in January before Covid-19 Lockdown (I had an ITA in January which I declined for some reasons).

The dates on the Work references are far, hope it doesn't matter.

I was paid cash for two out of the three employments. Must I provide pay stubs? I really don't have them.

Thanks to everyone that will take out time to reply me. My application is on hold until i get answers here.

Thank you all.

I passed my IELTS as well. Got L 9, and the rest 7.5. To God be the glory.

Wes coincidentally sent me a mail today estimating my report to be out on September 25th but now I want to add a second credential, I'm guessing the date would be moved? Or will I be getting two reports?

Hi michealf284
I think mine was between 2 to 3 weeks. They will give you an estimated completion date once all is set. It typically will be less than 3 weeks from then.

Not certain about the stages. I think 3 diets in total because she got an exemption as she already had a BSc when she begun the CIPM journey. For the purpose of gaining CRS points on this journey, I think CIPM will take a longer time as compared to the other certificate exams like BCS IT and CIMA. To evaluate any study program with WES, one needs to send a transcript and also attach a certificate. CIPM will only issue the diploma certificate. I don't think they have any lower certificate.
Fikayomiii:
Hello sir, please what stages of the CIPM did she do or that is required for the evaluation by WES?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by crespo67: 5:17pm On Aug 26, 2020
Hi guys, I just received my wife's ECA evaluation, and it her CIPM Diploma in Human Resource Management was evaluated by WES as a 3 years bachelors degree. I don't know if they have been evaluating it for others as a 3 years bachelors degree..I felt good about it..just thought to share...

Hi..PM me for contact for UI PG verification.
TolulopeAde:
Please can you give me a contact at UI PG school, WES sent me a verification notice email since July 6th but PG school officer is claiming they didnt receive it.
PS : I sent my transcript through etx too

UI PG School, can't remember d exact timeline, etx did d magic actually, they are super fast, they dispatch to WES same day UI PG school sent to them and report came out 3 days after verification by UI PG record office. (everything happened within early June to early July)

You've got to keep pushing. For writing and speaking, consult Jay& Alex, and Liz videos on YouTube. If you need private tutorial, contact Johnnybravo or Blissneye. I guess those guys still teach people. More importantly, you must be resilient and not try giving up. All the best.
