Let's not forget that this was a man who hobnobed with the corrupt Military Junta, a man even the great Fela called an International Thief Thief obviously from his corrupt enrichment while working with International Telegraph and Telephone(ITT), a man who sponsored several coups especially in bringing down Shagari's government plus his unbridled lust for females (Unconfirmed report says Abiola had nothing less than 25-30 different women in his life).

The Military (IBB and Late Muritala from whom he, Abiola got some of his corrupt government deals were very close friends of Abiola). They knew some secrets about Abiola that we knew not hence their opposition to him been President. Many of the Military guys then were opposed to him even one of our Yoruba Elder, Obasanjo. Abiola was no different from the average Nigerians Politician who handed out peanuts from the largesse he stole. A classic Robin Hood who now enjoys a democratic martyrdom status.
I wish sometimes he had become President so we could have gotten to see him for who he really was exactly like Buhari who came riding in on the supposed "Impeccable Intergrity Status. " but now we know better. We need to move forward as a people and be done with most of these corrupt perverted "elders" irrespective of tribe that have contributed in milking this country dry from it's inception. Let's seek young responsible and intelligent youths (Moghalu, Durotoye, etc) devoid of tribalistic orientation to chart this nation forward. Away with the same Analogue set of elder leaders.

When members are given tithe cards, it's to segregate those not paying.
When those paying are made to stand up every Sunday just to make them feel good and make those not paying look like thieves.
When those paying are given more relevance than those not paying.
When curses are used to threaten those not paying.
When promises of blessings are used to entice those paying.

These are called systematic threats/enticement which can be tagged as direct or indirect force.

On the tithe issue, I think it's what you believe in that eventually works for you. I don't pay and when I'm broke I simply accept the situation, same when I earn a few bucks. I don't attribute it to a certain seed sowed. If you notice a correlation between your finances and tithe paying, better don't stop.

the governors should clamour for total restructuring which would include change of this nonsense document called constitution. a new constitution which would frown against embezzlement and corruption, a new constitution which would make the Governors or President to be easily impeached when they fail to deliver, a new constitution that would include not only recalling of senators but governors and President, in case the docile state house of assembly or National assembly fail to impeach an erring president.

if I can recur clearly amnesty is not part of the Niger Delta Avengers list. they have made it clear to bring their Flag and Currency In October if those list are not meant. the FG is on the clock to decide before the ultimatum period elapsed.
