I'm on this Asian coin since yesterday. In profit, but the Devil said I should wait for a week or some days.
Spot traded this exact same pair on Bybit today with demo funds. Interesting you've been on it since yesterday. I checked it's 4hr chart and it has been on an uptrend.

PLEASE HOW DO THEY TRADE ON YOUR BEHALF? IS IT COPY TRADING? HOW DO I JOIN?
THANK YOU
It's not copy trading. What they do is invest your capital in coins that have the potential of doing well. In my case, my funds was split into buying 6 coins: Bitcoin, SOL, ETH, AVAX, XRP, ADA. And in the case where some coins are performing below expectation funds are taken out and invested into coins that are doing well. Due to price fluctuation, once I see profit I take it and leave my capital. Mostly I target a 5.2% increment. Do the math on 1,000,000...not bad at all.

Please what coin can I buy that is sure of doing x10 . Wanna sell my BCH to get it because I don't see BCH performing during the bull run. It so sluggish
Why not just leave your money in Binance and convert to BNB. This allows you to take advantage of any available launchpool that can earn you rewards.

Although Luno is not a favourite in this thread, I've noticed, but I like their large cap investment which allows me to take little profits from the coins they are trading on my behalf.

PoliticsRe: CBN Raises Interest Rate (MPR) To 22.75% by Crvrider: 4:38pm On Feb 27, 2024
Octopusssy:
This reads like Latin to me. Can someone explain what they have done in layman's language?
The Central Bank of Nigeria raising the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) to 22.75% means that borrowing costs have increased. This move is often made to control inflation by making it more expensive for banks to borrow money from the central bank, thereby reducing the amount of money in circulation and curbing inflationary pressures.
PoliticsRe: CBN Raises Interest Rate (MPR) To 22.75% by Crvrider: 4:22pm On Feb 27, 2024
But this will also mean that the banks will increase their rates to borrowing customers and on other financial products. In the long run, if people can't borrow to spend because of the huge interest rates, the economy still suffers for it?

What was the old rate?

@twosquare this is knowledge you just wrote down, I really appreciate. I didn't know exchanges would allow you do option (1) because I see myself as a HODLer.

Right now I am trying to lick my wound because I didn't take advantage of buying enough crypto in 2018 when I had the chance and money.

If I had invested this amount of capital 500k * 89,200,000 / 2,300,000 in 2018 my investment would have been worth over 19 million naira today.

I have this thread on speed dial now and I want to appreciate everyone here that have made themselves useful.

is spot trading not same as hodling?
HODLing[Hold On for Dear Life] is when you buy and hold for a period(usually a long time) for it to appreciate before selling to make profit.

While spot, albeit with similar ideology of buying cheap and selling high is done with the intent of profiting from short-term price volatility. Here you don't have to wait for long periods. You take whatever small profits and you repeat for as many times as possible.

I hope I am correct, though.

There is this excitement with a little anxiety I get when I'm about to be liquidated. I'm so weird. cheesy cheesy

Looks like BîtForex has ran with my money. They have partially shut down after their CEO resigned some weeks ago. That's one of the prices we pay for having small money in every exchange. The benefit outweighs the risk though.
I only use Binance and Luno. Binance is even more recent; Luno, on the other hand, I have been with for the longest of time because I like the flexibility it offers. I mainly do HODLing, however I feel I am losing out on spot trading. Please advise.

Another nonsensical ad hoc policy dead on arrival.
I still fail to understand how restricting the availability of forex would help the Naira.
Nigeria is heavily dependent on imported goods, from toothpick to the very fuel we use to run our generator-economy. Therefore, forex would always be in great demand. If the supply is disrupted by ill-conceived ad hoc policies, the value of the available forex would always go up and up.
The banks are not making dollar readily available, so the only way it can go is up.

The moment that moniker electromoney says “BDC set the price for CBN”. I give up. I am amazed at how he continues to hold on to his judgment on a subject he/she is totally clueless about. Probably, he his politically bias as well as ignorant.

What does Binance itself set to gain from Naira free fall? Are they planning to have a vacation in Nigeria? This must be the reason for the devaluation so that they can buy more foodstuffs. Or Are They heavily invested in Naira and they are now dumping their holdings. Seriously, what could Binance gain from this? This argument is clown shït!!!
In all honesty, the politicians are partakers of what the country is facing with this dollar issue. Let them come clean.

I will soon be talking about all these online bank, opay and co. A simple SQL request by the government to simple weed out Nigerian counterparts Manipulators

BVN, Nin, crypto exchanges, passport, thumb prints, online banks opening left and right, onshore bank etc. The government has every right to these data, get them, make a query on them , regulate the economy. Not so simple, that's where you need data analytics. Read the data, you get your solution. The world is changing, and too fast, you need to appoint technical ppl in these delicate positions.
Na statistics we go chop? Na this government you won give stats? Dey play? Very unserious bunch of people.

Like for real bro, this argument ensued sometime last year and the facts have not changed. BDCs operators currently use Binance to know current and prevalent rates … how is it difficult for some people to understand that any rate prevalent on a popular exchange platform will have effect in the real market place… we went ahead to show them screenshots of Merchants unnecessarily and arbitrarily manipulating prices : for instance u see a buy order at 1702 and the one following it will be 1745 and another at 1788… that’s unreal and does not reflect the true value of the naira. But a lot of them have failed to see these reasons and instead argue all the time … So let all man go with what they believe
Personally, I think it's common sense.

Can the BDC's be bigger than the banks?

Let the banks set their price to what it should be and let's see if the BDC's will not move the goal post. I am trying to imagine CBN mandating banks to sell at a lower price and making dollar readily available OTC, who would patronize the BDC's? Now even if you buy from the banks at a cheaper rate with the intention of selling high, nobody will patronize you because they know they can get it cheaper from the bank. So please you guys should leave Binance out of Nigeria's issues.

Is it advisable to buy and hold usdt hugely now? or wait if it's gonna drop as not to loose naira value.. Thanks
USDT will always strengthen against the Naira, as far as I am concerned, this government is doing nothing to bail out the Nigerian economy. However, you also need to diversify your portfolio just in case. Luno does something they call luno large cap. You can check it out. https://www.luno.com/invite/Y7HWJ

Incase u are brainless, let me educate u small. UK, US don't issues diploma certificate second time, but
u can get it via third party
, if u want to use the certificate to get job in US or any European countries, they wil only request for your SSN and verify ur name via school.
But according to the school Tinubu didn't apply to get a replacement certificate. So the question now is who linked him to this third party vendor if he did not apply through the school?
