Pearl1910: I don't whine and complain about things I can't change. Tinubu don tell una say if u like protest till kingdom come, fuel price isnt coming down again. So what's ur solution? lets leave emotional talk and complaining.
Shebi you where here when people saying Ehailing should Increase price by 100%. Now u r saying how many people can afford ehailing Berger VI to and fro daily? Where do u stand?? I don't want to be dragged into fruitless talking about the fuel price and complaining that it's affecting my business on this thread. Or will it give u satisfaction if we do and get ourselves worked up with no ability to effect changes?
The govt is to be held responsible, but this is not the place or channel to do so. And where do you get the notion that you can't change things? |

pope191: Bros what are you saying please, are you just being insensitive or what? A gas of 10k will fill a tank of 50L. Now we have 18k difference and you are saying the effect is not much, while salary remain the same. It is just a matter of time before it start telling on the people. If they ain’t booking rides, are you going to drive yourself? Can you pay 10k to vi every morning? It is not about politics, but the first to be hit. I picked a lady to Vi from Berger nd back yesterday for 15500 on convert and I really felt for her. Dropped by to get food, that’s should b 20k gone within 2 hours. The irony we are yet to admit in all of these is the fact that driver will work longer hours to meet up. Good economy works for everyone, bad economy rob off on everyone.
If they increase fuel to 1200, we will still be here saying it doesn’t concern me? If there's a way to like this post more than once, I would have. |

People like you go open mouth waa!!
Kuwait has a population of 4.5 million people. They export more crude oil than Nigeria.
Common sense should tell you that Kuwait has surplus of forex when compared to Nigeria when you factor in that Nigeria has a population of 180 million. Take advantage of your population size. Where 2 people gather and where 200 gather which has more advantage? I won't bring myself low to your level to start calling you names |

Eggs must be broken for omelette to be made.
These are trying times and we shall overcome. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Local production of PMS is the way forward 70billion to be used on furniture and repairs among the political class! It gets to your turn, the masses, it is time to turn philosopher and breaking eggs. Isn't it obvious that Tinubu is clueless about governance? The hardship is beyond comprehendible and he is talking about sharing 8k. |

Parachoco: Why will a Company like Guinness or Coca Cola leave Nigeria? The Multinational are wealthy, they have the capacity to generate there power supply, so they will all be fine, no serious multinational will leave Nigeria at this moment, when power was horrible, they were surviving, they will also survive now. Other factors do play in. You also need to consider the buying power of the country you're doing business in. Can Nigerians comfortably afford these things anymore? Although I agree that it's unlikely for some of these factories to lock up shop and move, considering their heavy investment on fixed assets. |

JasonScoolari: Wetin bring Peter Obi come this matter?
Is he the reason why the Naira is undervalued?
Is he the reason fuel is now N520 per litre and will be N700 per litre in the North?
Is he the reason why 5 seed of tomatoes is now N350?
Is he the reason you entered trailer from Kaduna to Ilorin to celebrate Salah?
Is he the reason there will be increase in electricity tariff as from tomorrow?
Is he the reason students at Federal Universities will start paying double of their fees? Simply put, you would have just asked him if Peter Obi is his president? |
Business › Re: Naira Now Undervalued After Float, Bank Of America Says by Crvrider: 7:48pm On Jun 30, 2023 |
jmoore: The analysts are obviously myopic. Nigeria is an importing country, therefore expecting a dollar to be 650 naira next year won't happen. Tens of billions of dollars from crude oil revenue is not enough to meet the demand of forex. Don't be ignorant. Read about Kuwait. Their only and major export is oil and they have the world's best performing currency. |
