Well that's the problem. The pipe runs from underneath the engine somewhere. During the gasket change I think the pipe was disturbed, looking at now, I remember applying glue to it some 2yrs back.

THE LEAK
Got my hands dirty this morning trying to resolve this issue once and for all.

Happens there is a leak no doubt however, it isn't a HOIST leak but a rusted water pipe leak.

Please, what's the best adhesive to use on a rusted pipe? I am thinking super glue. The 4min gum I have seems like it won't hold, from past experience using it.

I seriously doubt if anything is wrong with ur alternator... Ac was left in by the person who used or warmed the car last... That alone can drain battery out. If not that that battery is still good it wouldn't start the car at all self

Alternator is charging reason why the battery light goes off after a little drive but battery is still not well charged reason why the light keeps coming back.

It was the AC that was left in that drained the battery. Drive the car for some time.

For the rodents, they like cool place, if car is in constant use the engine block can be warm b4 morning so they can't stay there. It's normal for rodents to stay in cars parked for a long while. Even in oyinbo land na same thing reason behind the white rats in Nigeria they where imported along cars from overseas

I warmed the car yesterday morning, it appeared and stayed, I pressed the throttle to increase rpm it then disappeared.
This morning, I warmed it again, the battery light was showing, increased the rpm, it was still there,
Moved the car a little within the compound, and left it running for about 2 minutes, it then disappeared
Some history.
Car has not been driven for close to 2 months.
Someone else (doesn't drive) has been warming the car for me.
Yesterday was the first time I warmed car by myself and I noticed the car air-conditioning was left on as I met it on after I started the car.
Please what's the implication of this.
Also some rodent must have been using my engine bay as their dinning table. Lots of snail shell and some faeces

You gerrit. So everybody saying driver should have returned the items should put this scenario into consideration. As far as I'm concerned, driver has completed the trip which was point A to point B. Asking driver to go from point B to point A is another trip entirely which driver has the right to either accept or decline

So what is the essence of taking an item from point A to B without delivering it?

But why are you guys looking at it just from the drivers perspective. Like I don't get it. You(driver) agreed to do delivery, at the end of the day you did not deliver item, you have refused to return item and you have refused to take your call all in the name of recipient being rude to you.

What if he was asked to go drop off some kids, will he say because the person who is suppose to receive the kids was rude to him then it's now his right to go with the kids?

You guys should put yourself in the position of the guy who owns those items and then make your judgment. It could be that those items where sold and meant to be delivered, probably in another state by the recipient who is meant to travel with the said item.

If the driver was vexed by the recipient s manners then he should try to resolve things with the person who ordered and not seize the item.

I beg make the driver go sit down. Like he has never in his life been rude to someone.

I will carry out a radiator pressure test to determine the source of the leak. But talk true, to write HOIST dey hungry you, abi?

Okay. Thanks. So today I got to work, parked at the car park but when i came back out to pick something in the car, lo and behold I saw a poddle of water on the floor--LEAK. I guess this answers the question to why I get an empty reservoir every now and then.

Pretend to have sold the house. Get your friend to stand as the new owner so that he serve everyone quit notice...6months max.

Lolz...it's possible. d personal car I drive is 3years on the platform. The one I had before this one is also still on the platform on rentals. Red coolant from when it was bought toks still in the radiator. So it's possible.

If u do anything in the engine or radiator and the water is expelled, just replace with original coolant not water. But make sure ur radiator/engine isn't leaking or u will just waste your money.

The agbede guys is my last resort, if problem persist after washing then I am replacing the radiator with a double cell.

What you guys are having could be as a result of a leak in one hoist around the engine compartment, most time engine needs to be brought down to see that hoist.

This is quite an unfortunate situation you guys find yourself.

Even if car is static but running you won't see the leake until car is on high motion so you see, it's a difficult situation because mechanic cant do anything while car is on motion.

A man spent over 600k changing engine b4 this similar problem was discovered.

You guys need to find that leaking hoist, only the Holy Spirit of God can help one in such a situation.

Sometimes when people complain about issues in their cars i silently say to myself, thank God it's not me. But the hard truth is that e go touch everybody one way or the other someday. However, why am a bit sceptical about the leak being internal is that the radiator does not loose water.

the thing is I started using XHP from when i bought the car as recommended by my first encounter with a Kareem, I only join this platform when i wanted to put the car on ehailing, and it was even someone here that advice i use synthetic when i clean up the sludge in Jan, that since i hv clean d engine i can now start using synthetic hmmmm ..before this clean up of a thing my car engine never ever give me any problem since hv been using d car even with xhp not until d so called clean up, people use to envy my engine sef cos its work is so smooth and silent u wont even know my car is on

Though I am not a mechanic but I just get the feeling that the problem was due to the cleaning...the method used. Someone here recommended liqui-molly engine flush.

Actually there was noise coming from the rollers, the mechanics couldn't actually say which roller it was that was making the noise.
As for me in such cases I usually allow time so the issue or problem will become manifest, so at a point if I park the water will just drop on the ground but once I am moving I can drive from morning til night and the water is there but once I park gbam it's gone.
It was even my brother that discovered it and I changed it the problem stopped.

Then I guess mine is not a water pump issue. I will proceed to wash the radiator on Monday, if this doesn't solve the problem I'll have no other choice than to buy a double cell radiator.

Please anyone with connect at Aspanda, I understand parts are slightly cheaper there?
