Chief I've done it before one time like that before I joined the hustle. I was heading to a conference in VI, naso this piss hold me ontop 3MB at a time when google map was saying "you are in 59 minutes delay". Early morning rush hour.
I cleared off the road, put on hazard light and went behind the car to do my thing.
Another time I was travelling out of lagos, from the island I decided to use Eko bridge to connect ikorodu road, that time when 3MB was under maintenance. Got to funsho Williams Bridge around 8am, naso I jam this evil traffic, stand still. There's this urine that has been holding me from house but I was in hurry to beat traffic, my plan was to stop at a Kara before Longbridge to ease myself.
I couldn't hold it anymore. I told my babe who was still a learner as at them to come sit behind the wheel incase the traffic starts moving
E get some piss wey go hold you, you go find how to let it out. Bladder they expensive o
Last week sef I told a rider to wait for me make I use the chicken Republic restroom before we proceed on the trip. Na human being I be no be robot. E get some piss when dey lead to shit. That kind piss dey fear me like ki lo de! |

XGhost: Fun fact. I used to only ask destination at night. The uncertainty of picking random people going to random places gave me some weird kind of kick. I'm a very curious person and that randomness is one of the perks of the job for me. It very interesting. I seriously consider bad roads and traffic prone areas while accepting trips. Since I do strictly Indriver I wouldn't want to go to a place that I might spend the entire day on one trip only for peanuts. |

What could be wrong guys? to this, your eyes will adjust. had similar issues to the point that i almost got night vision glasses, funny right? however, that glare is something i believe a lot of drivers experience too so dont let it frezak you out, well except maybe you have eye problems, in that case your might need to minimise driving at night. |

XGhost: From my experience using Uber this week, I think what Uber is lacking is drivers. Rides poured in back to back. Even with both apps on, Uber requests came in first. But pickup distances no be here o. It's gotten much worse now. 10km pickups were sooo frequent, I just weak. It's a terrible shortage of drivers. But rides don't stop. I completed 10 today but must have ignored up to 20 My fear really is not the pick up time and distance, i know what i drive most times on indriver to pick a rider. Mostly what i fear is the destination. Nothing fear me pass unknown destination like free knacks laced with sweetie. |

chillex8: Also, there are more armed robbers and killers as riders on bolt than any other app.
Then, avoid 5.0 rated riders at night. Personally, i don't even pick 5.0 rated riders in the daytime no matter the surge multiplier. There's actually sense in what you've said. There use to be this guy on Indriver who will always request trips to far areas and its usually ajar, funny thing is that despite seeing his request pop up, it always shows "new user" |

FuckEveryday: If Uber doesn't add it, you can add it urself. Personally I work alot at night, and I don't carry more than 1guy or 1guy and a Lady, but can carry 3 ladies. There's a lot of trips at night to think if you get to destination and you're not comfortable with a trip and you cancel it, you'll not find another one. Immediately u cancel and drive away from the riders I can assure u you'll get another trip.
I know it's God that saves, but I'll rather have one guy to deal with, than 2-3guys. How late into the night do you work? I take style like night work too. |

It won't stop the ehailing coys from making money, we shouldn't forget, the case of the Ajah guy, though, Bolt said he wasn't on a trip, but we all know, guy man was positioning for a trip in the wee hours of the morning when tragedy struck. Coketols: I got a sworn affidavit for loss of tinted permit certificate and a letter from the office of the area commander for Area F, Ikeja. I was told these documents can suffice as tinted permits.
Please is it tenable to avoid police harassment for my tinted glasses? I really can't say if any of these doc can redeem you if you're ever stopped for tint issues, especially if its the nylon tint. For your peace of mind just yank it off. I have seen a couple of cars on the road lately where the owners have attempted to rip theirs off...I guess they've all swallowed a bitter pill like me. |

Olayetan: I've been off social media for quite some time due to personal reason but I had to take that decision off the table cuz of a friend who found himself in a big mess.
Pilots, one of us is in serious trouble and I felt I should call the attention of the house for possible assistance or advise, on Saturday afternoon, he was requested by someone around igando to pick up some guys, unknowing to the driver, those guys had a gun on them.
While he was taking them to their destination, they were stopped by the police for stop & search, immediately police stopped them and asked them to alight, 3 among the 4 guys he carried ran away while him(driver) and the last guy were arrested when they found the gun in his car.
Now the guy has been branded accomplice despite showing them bolt app and claiming he's just a driving who was just providing his service.
These guy had been in detention since Saturday without any hope of coming out soon, any strong link or assistance would be highly appreciated at this point to get him out... Na wa o. On top this small hustle when man dey take see front, which kind wahala be this? Or are we to start frisking riders, abi na metal detector we go buy put for moto? |

realpoacher: Experience Bolt drivers in the house, how do you break even and make profits because to me, this prices paid by riders are low for a car owner to make profits.
Bolt just launched in Lokoja, Kogi State newly and I said let me even drive my car on the platform and have a feel of it. So I registered and got accepted. I went to the panel beater to do some minor repairs which cost me about 7k. I fueled the car 2k, and I launched my bolt driver app.
For 4 and half hours, I had about 6 riders and I made total 4k, which is not even up to what I spent for the day. That is after buying 1k fuel extra before I got home. Total spent = 10k. Total made= 4k. Balance= - 6k.
To me, this is ridiculously low for a car owner, imagine long trips of 30 minutes and the rider will only be charged 800 naira. Sometimes a rider will call me, and when I get there, they will be 3/4 people waiting for me. Yet bolt will charge a paltry 800 naira for 4 people/seats on this bad Lokoja roads, very terrible roads. I have not even talked about the distance I have to drive from to come pick them up. Who pays for that fuel from my location to riders location?
The most annoying experience yesterday was when I picked 3 riders (1guy, 2 girls) for a short distance and bolt app said 200 naira.... Are you kidding me?.... How much will the 3 of them pay for Okada,? That should 300 naira, nah.. Nah... With my ac blaring, I just told them 400 naira, the guy paid and even gave me a tip only for one of the girls to be saying that but bolt on her phone is saying 200 naira. Blah blah blah
Abeg you guys should give me clues as to maximize profits else, na to park my car jeje... You really cracked me up. I have once done a trip on uber in my uber days, only for me to get to destination, and I saw 300naira, I weak. Funny thing was that trip was too short to be billed so I had to wait a couple of minutes more then tried again and to my greatest surprise 300naira popped up. |
