1. There was nothing wrong in getting her a job. Don't allow anyone guilt trip you over that. Be kind and helpful to anyone and everyone you find yourself in the capacity to. It's only a problem if you only do it for people you seek pecuniary or carnal favors from.
2. Doubtless she has given you vibes you are not her ultimate desire, but then 98% of women settle with men who are not their "perfect" male. What you have penned down depicts she will bounce when a better option comes. Nothing new. Even if you date and marry the woman that chooses you, there are no guarantees she still won't find a worthier male sometime down the line and emigrate (either physically or emotionally). Don't kill yourself over this. You don't know who is presently chyking her or what her circle of friends are telling her.
3. The most important information is what you have not highlighted which is: have you controlled the narrative of this relationship dynamics so far? You're an introvert, so am I so I can readily relate with your worldview sort of. Please I need opinions on an issue, not insults.

I'm seeking to get married soon, so I recently got into a relationship with this lady I've been talking to last year. I helped her get a job in Lagos and she came over. Her parents paid her rent and thanked me. Since I've always wanted to date her (good girl, virgin, and beautiful) I used the opportunity to ask her out since she now has a job here in Lagos.

She accepted but have me a tough time accepting because of difference in church denomination. I had to assure her that it won't be a problem when we get married, though she had always made her stand clear since we first met.

The issue now is this - yesterday she was telling me how some guy from her hometown got her number and was trying to ask for her hand in marriage and all that. She went on to tell me how he's old and can't put his words together bla! bla! bla! I began to whyne her that she's a hot cake and everyone will always want her and I fully understand that.

After all the praises I was giving her on how people live things of value like her, she sent a VN telling me stop it that she was just telling me how late marriage affects even men too and I should stop making her the subject of the discussion, that she knows what she wants and when she sees what she wants, she will go for it.

I played that part like 5 times already. We are in a relationship, why would she say that. Am I not what she wants physically? I've just been asking myself since yesterday. Throughout our friendship, I've never bothered to ask her what her ideal man is but she has said how she dated cute guys previously but couldn't move further because they lacked in character. Sincerely, I'm just an average guy physically, calm, introvert and funny.

I'm still asking myself if I am just a stop-gap plan. Been thinking of gradually leaving the relationship. We aren't even 2 months in.
