You are correct. I’d wanted to say my view on the reason why early marriage is important, but some people here had made themselves judges as though this is a political debate arena.

I had an experience and I am entitled to my own opinion.

Is delaying marriage always the best path, though? While getting married young isn’t for everyone, there are actually some distinct benefits to doing so.

I believe too much Un-arrange and unbalanced knowledge causes people to be very choosy about marriage.

I was raise by a single mum and she taught that a woman should be self dependent. As good as that is if you are not careful to balance that truth, you will become a low key feminist.

When you marry late you will understand that there are many things you could do and even get better preference when you are married.

We (Women) need a man in our lives. Let me make controversial statement but truthful.

A woman job and fulfillment is truely tied to her assistant to her man’s assignment (Vision)

This is not to say that without a man you are not fulfilled but to say that there’s a level of favor you release when you come into a man’s live and that feeling is fulfilling .


Had I married by 25 by now I would be done with child labor.

My advice , look for a place in your life and struck a balance. What do you want and what’s your motivation in life and about marriage.

But take it from me, if you wait till 30 and above you will want to get it right, and that feeling of getting it right will make you choosy and years are counting. That’s when you marry for necessity and not love. That’s when you hear all man na man.

With less criticism I could share some personal experiences I had for marrying late. In respect to child bearing, marital life, career issues and financial problems not to talk of comparisons that comes with it.

I would really love to work in a top consulting firm. I love economic analysis, making projections and forecasting and formulating economic policies. I also would love to be a Teacher or Lecturer, guiding young ones and sharing knowledge with them.

Instead, I'm stuck with figures and numbers in the name of Accounting, a great career nonetheless but doesn't give me that fufillment i need. However, it pays the bills and I'm ready to keep at it till death if that's what keeps coming my way.

Same thing here. I'm a guy so I'm obviously not pregnant lol, but I'm restarting after getting to my 4th year. Battled depression for years, had a lot of breakdowns and my results suffered, which caused even more depression. Throughout the 4 years in school I never did what other kids were doing (academically and socially), always the lone guy that just attented lectures and then disappeared, most times I would just leave home and lodge in a hotel by myself cutting contact with everyone for days on end. But over the last year I was able to work on my mental issues, told my dad about my struggles in school (couldn't tell him about my mental struggles cos idk if he'd just think I'm giving excuses for failing or he'd get too worried about me, neither of which I want) and I just wrote jamb and passed. Hoping to get admission. This time around I plan on going though school and actually enjoying it(by that I mean working hard in school and also opening up my social boundaries and being a normal human being). I deserve to be happy.

You see, don't ever assume that its too late to do anything. Recently, i was pondering on going back to school to do a medical degree but my foundation in sciences is too weak.

My Dad would always say a stationary stone gathers no momentum, the scholars would say it gathers no moss. When you get into school, make friends (brilliant and not brilliant) mix with people, have fun and make a good if not great result.
