If that were true, Igbos would have voted for any of the 3 Igbos who contested the last elections. They did not.

Producing the president of Nigeria no longer holds the same weight it used to for Igbos. Others that have produced the president, what good did it do them? Nigeria is still a messed up place no matter where the president comes from.

There are more important things for Igbos to think about than the cursed office of president of Nigeria that has never helped anybody
None of the igbos ran under a real national party like the APC or the PDP, so nobody expects them to win.
You cannot underestimate the power of national spread and the hope of victory.

Unfortunately many people approach issues sentimentally and emotionally. I am not anti-Ibo. No, I am not. I am not Yoruba but a full blooded Rivers man. 2023 will not be handed to Ibos on a plattter of gold. It will be thrown to the South especially if Buhari wins a second term in 2019. The South will exclude West if the game is fair. It will be left to SS and South East. The South South man which I am would remember that Jonathan did not do 8 years. With the dynamism of Nigeria's politics alloyed with the current trend of IPOB and other related group agitation an unbiased Nigeria from West and North would prefer a SS person to the office.
One day an Ibo man will be the president if Nigeria remains but it is not as soon as envisaged by some politician in the East.
Please no bad belle. This is the gospel thruth.
Stop talking bullshitt with authority.
Why will the north prefer the SS to an Igbo man? They have not said anything to that effect.
Infact the signal coming from the north is an Igbo presidency, so where are you getting your own prediction from? From which northern elder?

And secondly, the SE is a majority zone. Okorocha himself who fancies the presidency has more support in the north than any southern politician, so how exactly will the SS get it over the SE?
They no longer have the marginalization card to play anymore that got Jonathan elected, not when the SE a majority ethnic have not gotten their turn.

And lastly, the SW does not decide who becomes presidency. They have never decided before 2015.
They leveraged on buhari's unprecedented northern support in 2015. And in anycase, there is no SW politician that is as popular as okorocha in the north.

So where exactly are you getting your fake predictions from? Or is it from your personal non-ending reservoir of igbophobia?

well said..

Nigeria gained independence from The uk since how many years past..what do we have to show for our craved freedom? Corruption greed and bad governance?
We are not even free.
An import dependent is not even free.

If I were president, I would invite the americans in to build their military bases for their drone operations, with shared oversight with Nigeria and operation beyond Nigerian soil.
Then I will get mutual defence treaty in return, i.e. the total protection of Nigerian territory on the air, land and sea by the US military in case of a foreign invasion just like Korea and Japan, and also negotiate a deliberate policy for US businesses to come into Nigeria as their first point of call in africa.

Then I will pump the billions being wasted on corrupt defence procurements into upgrading our infrastructure and economy into second world standard.
That is how to be a stooge with sense. And it is very very achievable.

Nigerians want a good life. We have no power for unnecessary bravado when we can't even afford it.

I am not anti-west per say but any government that refuses to bend willingly to their wish is viewed as an enemy state.
Secondly, he naturalised most foreign businesses owned by citizens of western countries and collected farms and land from white Zimbabwean

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_reform_in_Zimbabwe
The land reforem bullshitt was foolish.
If you want your people to reclaim their lands, you don't just forcefully retrieve it like a banana republic.
You create a prosperous populace that can buy back their lands in a free market system.

How has the reclaimed land helped them? To buy bread, you need billions of Zimbabwean dollars.

Btw, to be a western stooge is not necessarily a bad thing. many countries are western stooges and they are prospering.
The problem is when you are not smart enough to leverage on your friendship with the west.

The US have military bases and weapons storage facilities in Germany and Turkey against Russia. That has not stopped both countries from prospering.

The problem is not being a stooge. The problem is being stupid.

Sir Mugabe was too greedy and obsessed with power, see where it has left him, a mockery, kicked out of office like a common criminal.. From hero to zero.. grin
Thank you.
Zimbabweans abroad are rejoicing.

If it takes a western stooge to cancel western-imposed sanctions, open up their economy and make their worthless currency viable again, then that is the leader that Zimbabwe need.

Of what use is acting strong when you are weak as a cub?
Foreign AffairsRe: Zimbabwe Crises Is Like A Military Coup - AU by cstr1000: 9:24pm On Nov 15, 2017
cooljude:
It's a coup, sanctioned by western government (it's obvious from their reporting) and it shouldn't be recognised in Africa because it would signal double standard and embolden military personnel to start plotting coup.

Mugabe might be different things to different persons but this action might further lead to the degradation of democracy in Africa. I hope AU takes the right stand on this issue.
You give the west more power than they actually have.
Mugabe is bad news. The country is retrogressing and it was only a matter of time before the military or the people rose up.

Please tell me what exactly will the west get from Zimbabwe that would make a real difference to them?

My brother, I beg to disagree with you

Nigerians don't desire an Igbo presidency.

That is why people like me support IPOB and encourage our people to prepare technologically for freedom through any means necessary.

By 2023, it will become clear to Ohaneze and this set of political prostitutes that IPOB is right.
Who is Nigerians?
When was the last time an Igbo man ran as a candidate of a major party to know that Nigerians don't desire an Igbo presidency?
Buhari was rejected three times. He is president now.
There has never been an Igbo candidate in a major party, so where are you getting your assumption from?
Which southern candidate can defeat an okorocha candidacy for example?

If you want to campaign for IPOB, you can do it without muddling issues.

I have observed in recent time how prominent people of Ibo extraction have been harping on 2023 as their year. I am not a politician but mark this page. The earliest time an Ibo man would be president is in 16 years time. I mean 16 years from 2019.
The politics that will play out in 2023 is that the North and West will spur up the Niger Deltan politicians to contest in order to complete the tenure of Jonathan. Amaechi is on the line for this. Certainly he would have the votes of the North and West and this is game over for the hope of the East in 2023.
Mark my words. This will play out.
look at this Yoruba nigga running fever on the inevitable Igbo presidency in 2023.
please, tell me who is the North and the west? You think politics is permanent? Apart from 2015 which was an aberration when have the North and west ever had a joint action?
So in your mind, APC will be foolish enough to insult the east by parading a SS presidency after Jonathan? grin

Btw, which Yoruba politician or west can stop okorocha from influencing an Igbo presidency in 2023 via the APC.?

You put the FEDERAL in upper case. I guess that's to lay emphasis. But then, you need to realise that you may only have more of this situations in Federal Unis in the West. Hence my initial post about social diplomacy and good social relations of the Westerners.

One in a million feat? shut the fucck up.
Yes, it is special when an individual gets a perfect CGPA in any federal university. It is also special when an individual get a first class in a department that has never had any since its inception.
That is the big deal here, not because of the university. Though igbos setting unbeatable academic records year after year in a Yoruba dominated universities is also noteworthy.
Some Igbos in the SW opt for SW federal universities due to proximity and then excel and even set land mark records.
We have been doing it and we will keep dong it. It is not a big deal, but we will keep doing it.

All the yorubas that have gone to UNN, none of them have set any academic record that I know of.

QED.
