The level of federal governance in Nigeria right now is so imbecilic, it is not even funny. There is no where you would get this abysmal level of governance , not even in somalia.

Keep yorubas away from the economy. Those guys are bleeding socialists with barely any solid practical base. Even their states need a lot of FG patronage to survive. Even with all the FG patronage and an untouched medieval infrastructure since the 60s, it still looks like a cave.
I see a lot of their professors here in the field of engineering. A lot of paper knowledge and certification with very shallow practicality. Even an Nnewi boy working in auto work shop has done far more practical engineering.
Buhari is ultimately to blame for this though. Destroyed the economy by appointing very wrong hands.

Pack and leave Nigeria? That is the best your brain can come up with?. Since when did accepting or rejecting Nigeria override her superior claim to igboland. Nigeria, A mere geographical expression of 1960 with no real legality or history.
I am sure you are probably one poor yoruba muppet labouring aimlessly somewhere in lagos . Even the real owners of Nigeria are not this attached to a failed union.

Afterall, there is no fiscal federalism. And igboland gets the least federal allocation anyway.

The country is in bleeding recession with the lowest performing currency in backward africa ,and one yoruba nitwit who is probably broke as hell is postulating partisan nonsense to deflect attention into irrelevancies and curry misguided emotion for his daft president.
Any body with a brain should Find a way to leave that sinking country. It is unfortunate that american visa lottery has stopped.

Perhaps Ojukwu's "intellectual superiority" was his undoing. Ojukwu didn't listen to good advice because he felt "superior" to good advisers. Gowon didn't pretend to being a genius, but he was smart enough to recruit intellectual giants as advisers.

In fact, "One Nigeria" would have been "toast" had Gowon led Biafra. Gowon would not have attacked the Midwest. Gowon would never have taken hostage oil "expats." Gowon would never have bombed Kaduna or Lagos. Gowon was too smart for such inanities, he wasn't egotistic. Gowon would have listened to Njoku, Biafra's Army commander. Thank heavens, Nigeria didn't have an Ojukwu for a c-in-c!

A leader need not be a philosopher a la Plato, he only needs foresight with an excellent moral compass to guide him, a trait that would eventually endear him to great allies which Ojukwu didn't have. Yes, Ojukwu was smart, but he lacked foresight: hence his defeat. In any case, Ojukwu's leadership skill was a midget compared to Gowon's!

Kindest regards

Foresight? haha. I don't think there is any leader in Nigerian history that had as much foresight as ojukwu. Go and read his manifesto on biafran independence.
This was the same man that was responsible for many indigenous igbo made weapons in 1967. If he didn't have foresight, he would not have wanted out of Nigerian backwardness or promoted regionalism.
Gowon had no foresight, no leadership skill, nothing. He was merely an appendage of colonialism. He stood for regionalism in ghana, came back and then changed his mind. That is not a sign of leadership.
Ojukwu made many mistakes, a few of them very shocking indeed, but he was a greater leader than all his peers.
Btw, ojukwu was the military head of state of the oil rich eastern region and there is no record of him stealing oil blocs like many of his northern counterparts. That is leadership uncommmon to Nigeria.

Akpabio footdragged on the issue for 6yrs despite having largest allocations in Nigeria and GEJ in his corner.

Lagos state achieved more without receiving any allocation so that nullifies your point that external forces hold back development in the region.
I can see how you only called out lagos and not the rest of the backward SW enclave. I am sure you can see the obvious reasons.for that.
I am not concerned about akpabio. He was corruptly shortsighted, agreed, but that does not change the fact that akwaibom has the largest coastline in west africa and can serve the eastern industrial hubs and even west africa.
Buhari is not your son, he is the president. He was supposed to leverage on the comparative areas of strength and make Nigeria productive not satisfying his cronies and corrupt ethnic godfathers.
What kind of backwardness is this? Is this what you mean by sophistication?

Just the way Cross Rivers state government did a ground breaking for the construction of a deep sea port, Akwa-Ibom state government has also done same in the recent past. Similarly, Lagos state government is about to commence the Badagry port, and I think, the Lekki seaport; these projects are all between state governments and private individuals. So for the love of God, why or how is this supposed to be marginalisation?... Or is it just that the cry of marginalisation and victim mentality is so sweet that we cannot separate ourselves from this cry 56 years after independence even when it is baseless?.... When shall we emancipate ourselves from this mental slavery?

Close your mouth, nigga. I know what it means to hold a government responsible. I don't stay in that country so i have a vantage view of everything without sentiment.I have always been in the vanguard of asking for better state governance in the east, but sorry it is much deeper than that.
What would you call a scenario where the FG refused to invest or atleast compel investors to explore the deepest coastline in akwaibom close to the eastern markets and industrial hubs.? Is badagry seaport a better or more viable project?
How else would you call a situation where a single northern state like kano with negligible productivity gets more funds from the federal government than the eastern region?
Even this federal budget has the SE- a region of huge potential productivity with by far the lowest federal attention even much lower than even bokoharam ridden regions of the north.
I sincerely hope you are being payed for this or you are a yoruba masquerading to be igbo. If not, then it is deeply troubling.

As long as you practice the politics of hate and division.

Burning bridges rather than mending fences, the SE won't achieve much in the scheme of things, even actualizing Biafra.
Burning bridges is the reason why there is no seaport in akwaibom- the largest and deepest coastline in west africa? Yes, how enlightening, genius. I can see the bridge the SW has built with the rest of the south.
Buhari would be there for just 4-8 years. We would see the so-called bridges you have built then.
