Just Imagine the complete failure of Government. angry

This is the same govt, Nigeria under Buhari is trying to placate by deporting their secessionists.

Absolute disregard for our sovereignty. And it is not the first time nor will it be the last.

You would eexpect atleast 30% of Nigerian land and air military resources to be scattered along our border with camerron given their historical antecedence, but no, they are busy with innocent civilians.

A stern warning should have been given to Biya long ago and any future incursions met with a direct consequence.

What a shitt-hole.

Politics › Re: Who Is The Greatest Nigerian Ever? by CSTR2: 11:52am On Jan 30, 2018
Deadlytruth:
That should have been more evidence that he wasn't actually a tribal bigot.
Zik actually introduced tribalism into our politics as far back as 1938 when he resigned his membership of NYM because he felt his preferred Ijebu candidate who lost was hated by the Ijebus who voted in that election.
The same Zik would, after the Western Region Assembly election, read tribal sentiments into his loss of that election with the falsehood that Awolowo used carpet crossing founded on tribal sentiments to change the results of an election which he (Zik) had won. How can an individual change the results officially released by an electoral body without having been to court? In actual fact Zik lost the election by a wide margin which would not have been closed even without carpet crossing. If you want the details of the election I will give you here.

Zik also was the first national figure to utter a tribal slur. That was in 1949 when he said that the god of Igbos had destined them to lead other Nigerians and the entire Africa to Utopia. This was before the Western Region saga.
Another Igbo man had in 1945 declared that it had become obvious that the domination of Nigeria by Igbos was just a question of time.
Again, a football match was once held between a Western Region secondary school and another one from the Eastern Region which ended up winning the match. Azikiwe wrote an article in the papers the next day ascribing the victory of the Eastern Region school to their Igboness rather than skills.
All these were before the Western Region saga.

In addition, while other tribal associations allowed their members to join any political party of their personal choices, Zik as the president of Igbo Union made it compulsory for all Igbos to join NCNC or face ostracism.

He was preaching "One-Nigeria" and asking that we ignore tribalism but at the same time refused to resign his position as national president of Igbo State Union.
Was that a genuine nationalist or a pretentious tribal bigot?
You are not serious .

I will never take anybody that support a man that made statements like '' Yorubas should vote for yorubas'' serious.

Zik that was reponsible for one divisible Nigeria is who you referred to as a tribalist?. The zik of africa.?

So all the tribalsits were igbo and none were yoruba?

You are a joke and a bigot. To think i was even taking you seriously when you agreed with me that Chinua was not a true Nigerian at heart.

I didn't know you were speaking from a position of bigotry.

Yet his name is on our naira notes and we have a federal university named after him.

Is it that the SE/SS will vote for a yoruba candidate, or that a yoruba presidencty will not be the most tumultous in Nigerian history to make jonathan govt look like cake-walk?
Politics › Re: We Stand for Buhari/Osinbanjo till 2023 by CSTR2: 9:28pm On Jan 26, 2018
Alariwo2:
If Buhari decides to contest in 2019, he'll win with a landslide and if he doesn't, APC will still carry the day.

Either way, it's game over for 5% people. The next president from South will be Yoruba.
That is what matters.
APC would be stupid to do that. They are not that dumb.

Even if APC wins in 2019 thanks to buhari, a yorubs candidate in 2023 will not only lose woefully in the South with total rejection in the SE/SS, the north may not support a yoruba candidate for tactical and national feasibility reaasons.

The moment buhari leaves in 2023 , Nigerian politics return to default settings.

Even if a yoruba candidate wins by a miracle, he is going to face unprecedented political attacks from the north and south throughout his tenure , he wouldn 't last more than a term.

Not to forget the Amazon Dora Akunyili.

Unrivalled in quality public service till today. Reminds me of J. Edgar Hoover that reformed the FBI and made it the efficient Behemoth it is today.

If we had a Dora in every sector of federal governance to build strong lasting institutions, Nigeria would be far ahead of where it is.

AyakaDunukofia:
This is a tactical and strategic move by Miyetti Allah to neutralize Paul Unongo's call for Benueans to "seek new friends" in the wake of the cattle colony issue. The new friends in the Miyetti calculations is the Igbo. So, Miyetti want Ndigbo to remove any emotional or political support to Ortom. In this wise made this dramatic concession for the SE. However, it falls short. I think the Igbo would continue to speak against the proposed cattle-colonization of Benue state that equally has Igbo indigenes.
You better mind your business in this Nigeria, and don't include the igbos in any senseless heroism.
Defend your village and mind your business

Those people are pro-northern in orientation when push comes to shove. If you think they are your friends, you are obviously high.

All the issues highlighted in your post are not complex issues my friend (in the overall scheme of things and relative to the power, wealth, technological advancement, decent citizens, knowledge, world position and profile of the USA). No comparison. And remember I mentioned decent citizenry which Nigeria have not.

Nothing is wrong with Igbo candidate but Nigerians will not vote for one and no central mainstream Nigerian political party would risk or field one.
They are not complex issues? You think NEPA and roads are complex issues?
Please don't make me laugh

Nigerians will not vote for a igbo candidate? Well i am a Nigerian.

Don't speak for me or other sensible Nigerians.

Buhari was perpetually unelectable for good reason. He is your president now. So you should be smart enough to know your opinion means, didly squat .

ChidiAlaigbo:
Give me an example of the said first world nation, thanks.

And while you are at it tell me who in Nigeria, will consciously go to the polls and vote for an Igbo president of Nigeria? Just a simple question.
The united states have far more problems than Nigeria. Locally they have very high crime rates and gun issues that just will not go away because it is rooted in the constituton

Their local and foreign debts are sky- high too, immigration issues, global issues that will turn the head of any Nigerian leader to jelly.

Their problems trascend national to international. The US have powerful enemy nations that want to exterminate them, Nigeria don't.

The US have a more ravenous population than Nigeria. Their expectations are sky-high that evenn the great Obama has been demystifyed.

As for who will vote for an igbo man, maybe you should speak for yourself .You have only one vote that will easily be nullfied.
Not evrey Nigerian share your sensiblities and bigotry. Your politics is not my politics. Your candidates is not my candidate.

Buhari was perpetually unelectable for 3 times in a row but he has won now . You conveinetly failed to provide any rational reason for that.
And most igbo candidates are better than Buhari. When the suffer pass wetin man fit carry, nobody will tell them to vote an igbo man.

Even Jesus Christ will FAIL if he became president of Nigerians

Lawless, cheating, dishonest, corrupt, two-faced, hustler, unproductive, over sexualised, immoral, liars. That's the lot of you Nigerians.

How can this set of people expect angels to come amongst them into leadership positions. The Senate president, the legislators, governors, what are they? crooks!,,, A country of crooks looking for a saint to rule them....U go look tire!

Who else after BUHARI.........And those idiots from the east are shouting articulation all over the place.
You are a compete charlatan and a sycophant. A buhari worshipper and nothing more.

The Nigerian presidsency is not the most difficult job in the world. It is actually pretty easy given the low expectation threshold of the masses.
There are nations even first world ones with far more compex issues and a more ravenous populace.

The problem is that you like your fellow charlatans keep electing numbskulls. Animals with IQ teteering on the negative index.

You on another thread said igbos will never smell aso-rock like a fake prophet because we will never support buhari, and yet you complain that no president can save Nigeria.

Other governors in the east and elsewhere are adopting a wait-and see appraoch but roachas in keeeping in line with his pro-northern antecedence just has to start allocating hectares for cattles

Allocating Hectares for cattle in the east. A region that is smaller than many Northern single states.
