dasparrow: I agree that the grass is not always greener on the other side and yes, on average, our people are treated with resent wherever they go because of how bad our dear nation Nigeria has become. So I get what you are saying. Let's ask for a referendum and renegotiate our existence as a nation or better yet, break up Nigeria to save lives.
Not everyone is a tough cookie and can keep hustling perpetually. There are people who hustled hard and yet are still poor in Nigeria. How do you explain that? Besides, what kind of hustle are you suggesting? Online scamming AKA yahoo-yahoo? Ritualism? Corrupt practices like charging Nigerians an arm and a leg for an international passport? Or the ever prevalent sharing of shuwa-shuwa in the office when money is released to a government parastal for a project?
Nigeria is structured in such a way that to earn a legitimate decent pay or salary, you have to engage in a lot of illegalities and corrupt practices except if you are fortunate enough to work for an international NGO or NNPC but how many Nigerians are fortunate to work in such places? Perhaps OP should become a Pastor and feed fat from the tithes and offerings of the congregants, lol. Okay, I am kidding.
Let's fix Nigeria by either going back to regionalism or break up Nigeria to save lives. The choice is ours. Our people are treated with disdain because a lot of them go to commit crimes. Let assume that your divide Nigeria. You will realise that after some years the oduduwa or biafra Nation will inherit the stigma as long as it is the same people that immigrate from there. Also nobody likes uncontrolled immigration. Nigerians immigrate anyhow. Someone earning millions as salary in shell Nigeria is immigrating. Why? The Immigration is too much even when It is unnecessary. It's downgrading the passport. |

Most are worst than Nigeria.
Any relocation that is not western Europe, America or Canada is foolish. |

ModestGal: I wish anyone reading this congratulations. If you are still a student, never work towards getting a first class please, concentrate on how you can develop your innate skills and make money from it. Don't be like me please, Nigeria will frustrate you and you will regret every it of your time wasted on working towards first class. I do not mean you should fail courses, but make school your 5th priority. Yes, School is a scam especially Nigerian universities. Some idiots will come and argue with me here, pointing to so and so, but in reality, anyone who become successful through schooling in Nigeria is out of luck, which means just 10% of people, and your chance of being part of the 10% is very slim. Meanwhile,if you concentrate on developing your innate abilities, you might end up a millionaire within a short time. A word is enough for the wise And for those that love to read through my everystatement on nl, kindly keep your comment/advice to yourself bcx I do not care It's a rubbish policy. Not everybody will get a first class no matter how hard they try. And there are enough first class graduates in Nigeria to rotate all the jobs among them. Your politicians are stupid. |

What happened to Jonathan in 2015 was what we call information and hybrid warfare.
It's usually used by superpowers to destabilize weaker nations for their own interests.
APC used it to devastating effect.
And then when you consider an American political machinery like axelrod was behind the scenes, it is not a wonder at how sophisticated they were. |

maasoap: Lol. And the law has first rights over everyone. Life and death decisions over someone else's life goes beyond the right of being husband or wife. This decision clearly goes against the law. The last time that some parents tried it in Lagos state, their baby was taken out of their custody ASAP. It does not go against the law. If it did, the hospital would not have honored it. |

She didn't care whether the husband die or live The wife has the first rights over the husband. Even if all the family gather there, she must agree to it, or nothing will be done. |

To be fair, scripturally they have a point.
Do not eat blood, the Bible says. Transfusing blood is not different from eating it.
Now, I am speaking from the perspective of the Bible. And Christians should not be afraid of death. |

No need of disturbing us because we have other important ones to settle. If you like kill your mum I don't care but my Mum is my priority even my wife can't take her position. Don't judge him. Have you put yourself in his shoes? Because you have a wonderful mother, that makes the opinion of people like him invalid? Not everybody has a good mother. We can advise him to be forgiving, but his opinions are not invalid. He is traumatized psychologically by a bad motherhood. |
