The commercials & protest that were made against all those fast food that serve burgers abroad like the MacDonald,Big mac, Mega burgers. The awareness by United health foundation on obesity in women. The discovery of sugar content in some beverages sold abroad .e.g. Kool aid.

Nigeria was not listed amongst the countries with the highest level of obesity in women and the world at large. Don't you have resources & materials from United Nations, UNICEF & WHO. No Encarta installed on your laptop? Most women abroad don't have the amount of kids Nigerian women have yet they are so expanded. They have low fat everything in these advance countries & yet they still go through all these stuffs. I won't want to sight too many examples but I think Nigerian women are trying even with the various shortcomings we have in our society. I admit some women loss their shape but I see changes everyday with the way women care for their health evident with the fact that no Nigerian woman has been televised or made public to the world for being shapeless because Nigerian women have shame & always want to look good for Nigerian men. Its like competition to remain checkable.  Its even most of the Nigerian men that think money & power can substitute for their pot belly & halleluyah Jazz band triceps. Too much sugar has even reduced their performance , yet women still respect men & don't start up threads to discredit them, 

And if you still need stats from me then I must have over estimated you. I am not saying you should not support your friend but why look ignorant and rubbish the reputation you earned.

I don't want to bash anyone but this post is extremely shallow. Ignorance is terrible. Some men would just sit down watching Dstv, see celebs on Entertainment channel and draw conclusions. The so called shapey whitey, why are they so needy for Naija men & not their race.

Nigerian women spend 60% of their time grooming themselves just to make naija men happy. Even with lack of electricity, the terrible scotching sun, limited & expensive gyms, Unhealthy food imported into Naija & Lack of extreme measures like surgery, botox, face lift etc, Women have to deal with bad economy, take care of their homes, cater to their bfs & hubbies. Even with all these, Naija women still keep it together and look good even after 8 kids. Naija women also have good skin for the rubbish weather we have abeg some people are like mammy water despite the mosquitoes & pollution. The ones that lost their shape are becoming wise & are getting there. I see a lot of women jogging on my way to work and back. I am impressed with their zeal to look good & healthy these days. I applaud them for their effort to good appearance. It would have been nicer not to generalize or just advise women generally to watch it.

I am also a sucker for fitness & healthy living but you pass your message sensibly & maturely. You are not talking to your maids or junior sisters. I just think men are exercising their power & authority. Naija society permitted it. Naija men don't appreciate the gold they have.
