Hi, longest time.

We are discussing literature section and its writers.
Different sections have topics representing them on the Fp.
Let's focus on us.

@centje,

Cycle:
members - recommends to moderator
moderator - submits to supermoderator

supermoderator - adds topic to the frontpage; also has the option of selecting quality topics for the frontpage.

I once asked for the criterion/criteria for moving topics to front page...the answer i got was that it's based on supermod recommendation.

Do you have a different criterion?

Obviously, any quality write-up is worthy to make the frontpage.
But, I believe writers should set themselves apart. I am only using this opportunity to address other characteristics of a good write-up.

Not to worry, the recommendation thread, that I would be creating today, should help us serve each other better.
All suggestions to aid this process is welcome. Thanks

There is a huge difference between a writer and a poster. Much is expected of a writer!

In all fairness, topics from the literature section make the FrontPage.
But, now that you've brought it to our notice, we will ensure that quality write-ups make the FrontPage frequently.

I think I have an idea that will favour everyone. I will create a thread for FrontPage recommendations.
The recommendation thread would have rules and criteria for selecting topics.
Each day, I will select the first recommended topic from the pool of topics recommended and submit it for the FrontPage.
However, the topic must be worthy of the FrontPage(.i.e. quality write-up, proper spacing, paragraphing, punctuations, etcetera)

A comprehensive & descriptive outline of how this would be done, would be pasted later today.
We will all work collectively to ensure we present quality threads for the FrontPage.
I am sure Seun & the Super moderators have seen this. If not, I will inform them about it.
I will take it up from here.

The local post office in Nigeria gets things abroad safely and in perfect condition. Therefore, I'm confident that the ones in Uk would have better services.
Just ask for the best option and it will save you money.

I won't have commented if not for my name that was addressed.
It was Yellow mosquito's comment that made me check Foxy's profile, and discovered he was banned for trolling by Mukina2. It wasn't specified where and why he was banned.

I think anyone who is banned can also see the moderator that banned and the reason for banning as well.
So, the issue should be directed to the moderator in question.
But, if you choose to derail your own thread with your usual unnecessary campaigns & publicity stunts,
Then, feel free!

Trolling can occur anywhere.
The right way is for him/her to seek clarification or complain about it using the right channel.
Instead of speculating and assuming, they can also contact Mukina2 directly.
I advise that, you focus on the essence of this thread and stop derailing.
This banning shouldn't be another stunt as to why certain words are not used on the sexuality section, your story was moved, etcetera.

Lolz, big font is not a crime.
But, we should do things in moderation.
I didn't even know about the outrageous fonts, pictures and insults till I started receiving reports from members and posters.
I blame myself for not taking any action on these reports because its been on for a while now.

If reverse was the case, I don't think all the multicolored mosquitoes and foxy would appreciate their stories been derailed with pictures, big fonts & insults.
It is a very simple logic - treat people, the way you wish to be treated. What is wrong with people acting civil? Do we need to keep adjusting structures to suit adults?
I will look into the matter and find out why/where he was banned.
Please, let's not derail this thread, as this topic is insignificant on here.

Itz been 3 days now since the last time he could post on any thread.

I also want to ask the good office of Cuddlemii to look into this matter specially as this is her Section and anything or report that is sent out reaches her directly.

Do unban Foxy_Rebirth with immediate effect if after reading this you are still not convinced that ''Freedom of Speech'' is part of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Once again I apologise to Mazi on Foxy Rebirth's behalf for posting this stuff here. But as we all know, a matter should always be solved from the origin of the problem.

By the way, I have gotten several reports about you having several accounts: black, white, green, purple, red, yellow & all.
There have been a lot of complaints in my mailbox about you using these handles to insults members and constituting a nuisance.
Also, you guys have been writing with magnifying fonts(.i.e. displeasing to the eyes of readers) and pasting pictures on people's story threads.
I haven't taken any step yet because I trust we are all matured enough to moderate ourselves. Please be advised!
