Will the problem be solved if Buhari apologized? Na! We all should tell ourselves the truth, Nigerian problem transcends beyond leadership. Nigerian problem is a structural problem. Thank God, the senator highlighted some of the points that could help calm nerves down. Nigeria should be restructured, and the Igbos should be given additional states to balance the equation. In my opinion, Anioma and Azumini state should be carved out for Igbos in the Delta....

Most of Igbos don't look like that. It's only those who mixed with either Afro-Asiatics or Europeans that have those similar features.

The last pic don't have that features.

Look, I'm not trying to be racist. I'm telling the truth.
If I show you my pix, you might mistake me for white. My dad's eyes is brown, with light skin tone close to bronze, I don't have that feature though. My both parents are Igbos. I don't think cross breeding took place in my linage, anytime, since we come from the far hinterland of Igboland. Lastly, looking at my daughter this morning got me thinking, she is very close to been tagged white, maybe because she is yet to be burned by the sun. My wife is very dark skin. Despite the fact that I don't really care about my skin look, using enhancement and all that, I still look light skin. What do you say about that.

• around 10,000 BP(8,000 BC), all the people who now speak different languages from Afro-Asiatic super family were one people, spoken one language and mostly lived in the western Ethiopia.

• those people later started to migrate in all directions and there language and appearance started to change as time goes on. They were the people who spoke/speak:-
- Cushitic languages
- Semitic languages
- Omotic languages
- Chadic languages
- Berber languages
- Ancient Egyptians language

• at first, all those people were black and had/have Caucasian features, so the Ancient Israelis were black Caucasian(they weren't black Negros).

• this is why Horn of Africans(Ethiopians, Eritreans, Somalians and Djiboutians) are predominantly Cushite/Semite mix and black Cushite people with Caucasian features.

The following pictures are:-
- map of Afro-Asiatic and it's branch
- Cushite Afar man
- Cushite Agew man
- Cushite Amhara/Oromo mix man

You do realize that most of these features depicted by the images you posted is also found among the Igbos of Nigeria. undecided
What do you say of the images below?

Dude, this is the problem here. Once you do not support a divided Nigeria then you are an Afonja. I can't imagin how many people try to tell me where I am from becos I do not support this. It's my view and I have my reason.

I see your point and it's true that Nigeria will NEVER allow biafra go without a serious fight and Nigeria has superior weapon and allies. Anyways, me nor want war because it will be devastating for everyone of us. People will loose loved ones for sure. If kanu shout or insult without encroachment there won't be issues as Nigerian government will allow him make all the noise without arresting him but if they take it to another level which is trying to force biafra as ojukwu did, trust me the army will attack.

If kanu wait on government for referendum it will never happen and the worst he can do is disconnect the SE from Nigeria (Economically) but that will be terrible as it will lead to war; then he would have committed a crime. The height of this agitation is that they should try to print biafra money, then suspend naira in the entire SE and see what I'm saying. Ojukwu went that far, yet una sey Na coward.

According to my mum, all our farmlands were filled with empty bullets during the last civil war. All the people shouting we go to war, they don't even know if biafra will win the war but they would have died for nothing. You can't determine the out come of war.

Personally, I prefer national conference!!
I'm personally an advocate of Biafra. Nothing is impossible when the mind is made up. However, the route taken is what matters. I did justice to this very issue on this thread.

https://www.nairaland.com/3870679/time-igbos-intellectuals-converge-take

Nnamdi Kanu has played his part. If he is really sincere on the actualization of Biafra, then he should take the back sit and let those capable of delivering result as is obtainable take the lead.

This is neither the time nor the place to be criticising IPOB. Like them or loathe them, they are one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reasons why the independence movement is at where it's at now. We all need to unite if we want to get this referendum- it's already an uphill battle to get it when we're all united so imagine how much more difficult a feat it would be if we're divided amongst ourselves. Our cause is bigger than Kanu or even IPOB.

I was very emotional. But in reality, for any practical progress to be recorded, IPOB must overhaul their entire modus operandi, and Nnamdi Kanu should quit public scene. He has played his part, and so need to chill behind at the moment............ Thanks for the gentle nudge.....

@op, this your thread, though with good intention, is completely useless and misdirected. I'm sorry for been harsh, but we should tell ourselves the truth. Nigerian Government intentionally neglected your region, and starved it her presence that will naturally attract outside investment... Do you expect influx of people from Nigeria to come buy properties in the East, when their is no motivational factor?

If your thread is directed to our brothers residing in the North and West to start divesting back home it would have made lots of sense. You don't need someone that is naturally hostile to you, and love to see your region relegate to the background invest in your region. We owe it to ourselves to invest and build our region. We don't need, either the Yorubas, or Hausa/Fulanis to do it for us. Its our duty.
Events in Nigeria, currently, should server as an eye opener to all Igbos resident in the nook and crannies of this country to start thinking home.Whether Nigeria split or remain one, Igbos should relocate back home and lets join hands and build our region. We don't need them, now, nor in the future. A word is enough for the wise. sad
