If you have ever watched an American movie, in fact if u have watched a movie in your life and you have never heard steven spielberg it means u don't look beyond the screen and it also applies a lot to a lot of areas in your life not just movies. I swear she would have landed a role by now. You don't seat with oga kpatakpata of hollywood and just keep mute. Omotola is a beautiful woman and i know oga spielberg would have loved a lil chitchat with her no matter how occupied he must have been. Maybe she did not actually recognize him early and thought he was just a regular joe. Spielberg is no more making much movies but i know if he reccomends anybody to people like christopher nolan or guillermo del toro they will gladly accept the person without much scrutiny.

True talk. We cannot compare the quality of acting in nollywood with that of hollywood. I think i get what steven spielberg is trying to say. Can any of our actors/actresses pull off any of the stunts in hollywood movies? LOL. Nah!! The hollywood actors that are nigerian by birth had a different form of training from those in bred here in nollywood. Our orientation in acting still differs from theirs. Nollywood uses Nigerian mentality to act.

I respect Steven spielberg so much. All his movies are top notch. They are always blockbusters and making the top list. He is a pro in all he does.

Actors like hugo weaving and a few not too popular actors have nigerian roots,Hugo weaving(Matrix trilogy and Lord of the rings trilogy) was born in nigeria but will never even speak of it just because it might make his hollywood pals to start digging and stumble upon the disgrace known as nollywood. The list is endless,there are so many popular hollywood big weights who would have loved to star in a nollywood flick if nollywood was not a disgrace. Just try and watch the credits of any popular hollywood box office movie and you will see so many nigerian names but you will never see them do any proffesional work in a nollywood just because of their amateur standard of their actors and the industry. Abeg help me beg these people to stop disgracing me. The worst is that dark lady mercy johnson,she has no class at all,i have never heard where she rejected any movie. imagine she even made a dumb movie when she travelled to london to give birth and called it mercy johnson in london or whatever.

Another thing i hate about these folks is the lies they spread about the impact and mad love nollywood movies are getting in hollywood and america. I don't realy blame our nollywood actors,99% of their directors and script writers are too dumb for any wise person to actually like them. They don't have plans to cater for lovers of different types of movies. An industry that can't boast of an educative and magical PG 13 movie should be labelled a flop. These actors and actresses can't even recall the number of movies they have starred in plus most of them don't watch nollywood movies but expect the citizens they are dumbing down to watch it. I pity those who watch these crappy movies,even hollywood is giving us crap these days,CGI has replaced props in movies but atleast they still have a few movies with good storyline. Omotola no dey watch genevive movies,genevive no dey watch hers,tonto don't patronise it too but spend more time idolising people like angelina jolie or julia roberts. I can't recall knowing any intelligent man that patronises these movies. It takes great physicists like richard dawkins and so many others to actually explain some hollywood movies. The dawn of the planet of apes created 15,000 jobs with long works hours before it was made and produced. Nollywood makes a few people rich and start making noise about it. It does not take more than 15 proffesionals excluding actors and extras to produce a nollywood movie. bunch of amateurs! sorry for the long talk,nollywood is painting us dumb outside of africa.

The problem with LGBT cases is that the whole world especially nigeria sees it as something alien or a sexual orietation that is from the devil himself. I read behold a pale horse by wiliam cooper and exodus by leon uritz for the 3rd time. There is huge book i borrowed from my elder brother,it is called "strange stories with amazing facts by readers digest" and it is the best book i have read this year. I'm about to read J R R Tolkein's book about the creation of middle earth,the book is titled "silmarillion" . Just downloaded the truePDF version,been searching for it in paperback for almost a year now but can't find it.

I was blind! What should matter most in any piece of art should be the undiluted artistic expression of the artist. I'm actually into a genre of music that has the lowest number of audience in nigeria and that has never made me to switch to another genre with bigger followers. Every voice is worth a listener no matter how it sounds. I never realy saw it from his own angle sha and i only gave my negative view about it with including some of the advantages of using big words. I was not reffering to him though,but it is cool he spoke out for every big word user in nairaland. Some is his points made sense even though all he did was to paint his critics as a bunch of dumb teenagers. The truth is he does not even have the creative capacity of penning down a piece that is beyond my understanding. To each his own!
