Gerrard59: The average Nigerian man is ugly. That is one hill I will die on. I had a comfortable life in Nigeria. Now, imagine it for people who hustled under sun, rain, inhaled generator fumes, sat in go-slow etc., before they japa'd. It was through pictures of males in that Facebook group that I realised our men are not really handsome. Our women are finer even without make-up.
Thank God you attested to the recent folks in the UK. Their face too strong with lots of railway-like marks on them. Without money, those men won't even have partners in Nigeria. The one who got a girlfriend after downloading 24 apps was literally the most handsome. Even the interviewer was not handsome. A lot of re-fining would be needed for at least five years to change the narrative at least facially.
Inhaling generator fumes for more 25 years has effects on facial looks.
Na wa. You don finish Nigerian men. But i give it to our girls. They are really finer than the men.
Michelle55: You better focus on yourself and leave that girl, she's in the whoring stage and there's nothing you say or do now that would deter her from getting dicked by others. On the other hand, you can decide to be a gentleman and accept her back, the choice is yours bro.
This whoring stage you speak of is actually real?
The thing use style funny. So person go just wake up and decide to be having sex like animal and think it is normal. Na wa.
Shortyy: What will a 16 year old do with 70k? This world is turning into something else. People will do anything now just to make money, including kids. Odiegwu o
Like play like play these kids these days can be anything. Make dem no go gang up one day against adults..come make adults pay for turning them into ritualists and shit. Kids want adult shit.
Jman06: Did that in 2017. A girl worked her way into my heart, had me fall helplessly in love with her,not knowing she was already planning marriage with another guy. This is a girl I never offended to the best of my knowledge.
When I finally got winds of what she was up to, I was completely devastated. I cried, knelt and begged for offences I never committed, but she had it all planned out to punish me for no just cause.
I finally let go, but I placed a curse on her and that curse is taking effect right now in her marriage. Yes, I cursed her because I didn't wrong her in any way and what she did was deliberate. Despite all the love I and my family showed to her and her family, she treated me like though I was her sworn enemy.
With that experience, my heart is now hardened and I'm very sure I'll never stoop that low to any lady ever again in my life.
Take it easy man. Girls can tell similar stories like this too. You just fell inlove with a bad person. My opinion about this whole love and relationship thing is we should always give to people what we won't regret giving later whether it be love, time, money or a part of ourselves. People will always be people.
Chuxx84: Good evening nairalanders. Please I need advice/opinions on this issue at hand.
I have been taking care of my mother since before I got married, I have other brothers older and younger but they are not financially buoyant. (So they claimed) I did not mind this but kept on caring for her ( house rent, feeding, other bills).
Although it's a burden to me, but she is my mother. Now my wife suggest that any money I want to give to her should pass through her (I will send to my wife then she sends to my mother) or she does the sending and I later pay her back.
Her claim is my mother is fetish with my money. I'm confused can this be true? Sometimes my mother will make simple money request my wife would say I should ignore her. She says she is taking me for a fool. I am beginning to get tired of this whole thing. Please help with advice or opinions.
Thanks.
If she is the first person to make such statement then your wife is just being a wicked , jealous and simple liar.
tsephanyah: . Was he short by Fulani? Oh maybe Buhari send his brothers to shoot him. Lugard recommended to the Queen that only the righteous Norths Understood leadership. While they're shouting they're good in business. I see Dangote and Abdulsamad. They said they're "industrious" Oh you mean Criminality. Maybe what they want to say is they're better in English language, abandoning their culture and copying everything the white man those.
About this dead guy. I don't really care.
You might actually be the dumbest person on nairaland. See foolishness.. Na wa.
ModestGal: Okay, I will do that and write more on the topic extensively, I'm just very busy now, I types that angrily, I'm so pissed each time I enter cosmetic shops, because usually I leave without having anything to buy, everything in there are junks, bleaching soaps and creams, badly formulated, unless one visits big malls like shoprites, Casabella, Dallas etc before one can see better brands like Jergins,Neutrogena, Cerave, Aveeno, when you check all the small shops, you will only see Nivia,Jergins that aren't good and this people would think the brands are bad, not knowing they have different other better creams and soaps. Even at that, these brands are too expensive for Nigerians maybe because of Naira to dollar exchange rates. Nigerian brands arent trying at all, if not why will I waste my money to be purchasing creams from France when all I needed is extreme hydration and moisturizing benefit. I really wish to could up their game and bury all these African/philipine/Asia bleaching rubbish in our markets
I just told someone if i ever relocate out of Nigeria my main reason would be to have access to a wide variety of regular products which we lack in Nigeria. Just went to 3 big supermarkets and couldn't find Paula's choice and Neutrogena hydro boost gel. One of the sales girls in the supermarket laughed about my requests with her colleague because she has never seen a man request for Paula's choice. Grooming means nothing to most Nigeria men. If you go through Nairaland i am very sure you won't find any serious male grooming thread. But you will see thousands about how bad women are.Self improvement without a beautiful skin sounds really lame to me. Most times is not really about the price but the individuals running these stores. We have some of the most ignorant people doing what they have no love and knowledge of. They purchase and sell this useless products because they know most Nigerians have no choice but to buy and manage what ever product these stores sell to them.
