Singer David Adeleke aka Davido on Sunday remembered his aide, late Obama DMW aka 44, on his posthumous birthday, Igbere TV reports.
Obama died in June 2021, after complaining of shortness of breath, reports said he drove himself to a hospital in the Lekki area of Lagos where he eventually died a few hours later.
Remembering him, Davido reposted a photo on Obama’s Instagram page with the caption; “44 day.”
The post on Obama’s Instagram read: “Today could’ve mark Your 40th Birthday. Habeeb Ademola Uthman. Keep Resting Kingmaker, Father, Brother, Friend, Son.”
Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode and his lover Nerita Ezenwa on Saturday night attended the premiere of the biopic of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, Igbere TV reports.
The biopic titled Yahaya the White Lion premiered to select audience of 200 persons at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
Actor Ali Nuhu played the character of Bello while Roseanne Chikwendu played the character of Rashidat Bello, wife of the governor.
The movie, which was directed by Tunde Laoye, also starred other industry notables like Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st and Aishat Lawal.
In photos posted to Instagram on Sunday, Mr Fani-Kayode is seen exchanging pleasantries with other guests at the premiere. He is also seen introducing Nerita to them.
“We had a great time last night at the premiere of a new film titled ‘Yahaya The White Lion’ at the Transcorps Hilton, Abuja,” he said.
“The movie, which was about the life and times of my friend and brother Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, was excellent and I recommend it for all to see.
“Kudos to the cast and producers of this film. You have done very well indeed.”
Producer of the biopic Seun Oloketuyi had told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) during an interview last week that the biopic chronicles the life and achievements of Bello so far.
“Many times as Africans, we tell the stories of our heroes, our people and our leaders long after they are gone, when it is no longer of relevance to them. This, in many ways, prevents people from learning the lessons of history.
“Governor Yahaya Bello has changed that standard as a movie chronicling his life and achievements so far has been made and is set to premiere on Saturday, January 22 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
“We made this biopic not just to entertain as films do, but to put history on record.
“And we could not have done it at a better time, as our actors had the opportunity to draw inspiration from the real-life characters without having to base their knowledge on second-hand tales,” he said.
Oloketuyi said the principal photography had kicked off in the third week of September 2021 in different locations around Kogi including Lokoja, and Lagos State.
“The movie trailer, released in December, saw film lovers applaud the choice of a stellar cast,” he added.
Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode on Wednesday penned a lengthy note to his Ghanaian wife Regina Amonoo in celebration of her birthday, Igbere TV reports.
Amonoo has been married to Fani-Kayode since 1997. They have a child together named Remilekun.
The ex-minister described her in a post to Instagram as his northern star who has remained with him in spite of the odds.
“If I ever met an angel, it was you. If I ever had a loyal and true friend who, through thick and thin, was as constant as the Northern star, it is you. If I was ever loved it was by you,” he began.
“If I ever had love to give, it was for you. You are everything to me and I will love you forever both in this world and the next.

Fani-Kayode added that nothing will ever come between them as they are one.

The Ghanaian has been the only woman to have stayed this long with Fani-Kayode out of four wives.
Fani-Kayode married Saratu Atta from 1987 to 1990, Yemisi Adeniji from 1991 to 1995, and Precious Chikwendu from 2014 to 2010.
Filmmaker Mo Abudu has finally addressed the negative reviews trailing her Netflix film Chief Daddy 2, Igbere TV reports.
Since the movie was released on January 1, it has attracted a wave of negative remarks across social media and in the press.
The 57-year-old took to Instagram on Friday to respond to the criticism and address some of the concerns raised by fans.

Prophetess Yinka Olugbenga, a former senior member of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), ministered at a crossover service in Malawi on December 31 in pyjamas, Igbere TV reports.
The service was held at Glorious Light International Church, Lilongwe.
Another former top SCOAN member Prophetess Anne also ministered at the event.
Founder of Glorious Light International Church Bishop Abraham Simama and Ada Ehi from Nigeria also featured.
Prophetess Yinka, as she is known for short, gave a short sermon titled, ‘Make your heart God’s home’ in her colourful pyjamas.
The clergywoman mentioned several things which, according to her, God requires from his children. “Being truthful, honest, kind, forgiving and walking humbly with God,” she said.
According to her, if the children of God follow this roadmap, God will take the blessings in his hand and release it to them.
Ahead of her ministration at the church, she prayed for her followers on Instagram, saying, “As we welcome our spirit, soul and body to eleventh hours of 2021, l decree and declare as the LORD remembered Jabez in 1 Chronicle 4:9-10 and He made him more honourable than his brothers so shall the Lord change every unpleasant situations in your life. The duo also joined the church for the first Sunday service of the year on January 2.
This time Yinka was dressed in black and white stripes dress and a white jacket to complement while Anne wore a black dress.
Prophetesses Yinka and Anne were disciples of SCOAN founder Prophet TB Joshua who died on June 5, 2021.
They left the Nigerian megachurch after Joshua’s wife Evelyn Joshua emerged as the new leader in September 2021.

Gospel singer Buchi Atuonwu on Thursday celebrated 29 years of giving his life to Christ, Igbere TV reports.
The 58-year-old shared his photo on Instagram with the caption: “On this day 29 years ago, I gave my life to Christ.”

Buchi started his career as a disc jockey at a night club.
He gained admission to University of Lagos in 1983 to study English language and literary studies. He graduated with a BA and MA in 1986 and 1988 respectively. He took up an appointment with the university at the end of his program to lecture and run a PhD program.
Buchi remained a staff member of the Department of English of the university until he yielded to the higher calling to preach gospel of Jesus through writing and singing in the reggae music and poetry.

Businessman Femi Otedola joined his mother Lady Doja Otedola at the dedication of St Peters Catholic Church, in Epe, Lagos on Christmas Day, Igbere TV reports.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, December 5, declared open the final match of the Under 21 BOS Youth cup tournament organised for all local governments in Lagos, Igbere TV reports.
Sanwo on his Instagram page disclosed that the match is to be played between the Surulere and Ifako Ijaiye-Ojokoro teams.
To announce the match, the energetic Lagos governor took a powerful kick while he was dressed in native attire.

“Assurance” crooner and music executive, David Adeleke otherwise known as Davido Davido has announced the opening of application for his N250million orphanage support fund, Igbere TV reports.
Davido made took to his Instagram account Monday evening to make the announcement.
Only government-approved orphanages are qualified to apply for the fund, the singer stated.
Davido raised N200million from friends and fans after asking them to send him money in a social media post on Wednesday, November 17.
He added his N50million to bring the total amount raised to N250million.
In a statement released on Saturday, November 20, the eve of his birthday, Davido said he would give all the money to orphanages across Nigeria.
A Nigerian man has revealed what she did to a lady whom he flew out of the country for a vacation in another country, Igbere TV reports.
On Twitter, the man identified as Mullah said he paid for the lady's flight and booked a hotel for them to stay in while they enjoy their vacation. However, when the said lady wouldn't sleep with him in the same bed, he had to fast forward the lady's return to the country.

Zahra Bayero, daughter of the emir of Bichi in Kano State Nasiru Ado Bayero has officially wedded Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The duo were joined at their wedding Fatiha which took place on Friday.
Buhari and his vice Prof Yemi Osinbajo had arrived separately for the wedding. The president arrived via a presidential aircraft while Osinbajo arrived via a helicopter.
