Instagram comedienne Mercy Mmesoma Obi Nnadi, better known as Ada Jesus, has finally been buried, Igbere TV reports.

The burial, which took place on Friday, May 28, comes a month and seven days after her death on April 21.

Ada died two days after celebrating her 24th birthday from complications related to kidney disease.

Her burial rites, which began with a wake on Thursday, ended with internment after a lying-in-state at her husband’s compound in Oguta, Imo State.

The deceased’s husband Kingsley Nnadi, father Onyefeze Alaekwe and other family members were joined by friends and colleagues who came to pay their last respect.

Ada Jesus’ mother could be seen crying at the burial as she found it hard to believe that her daughter was gone.

The days before Ada Jesus’ death were dominated by stories of how veteran actress Rita Edochie placed a curse on the deceased.

Ada Jesus had previously made several allegations against Edochie and Anambra-based Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance.

She claimed that Odumeje connived with Rita to stage fake miracles and further alleged that she helped the actress get men to sleep with.

Angered by the allegations, Rita and Odumeje vowed never to forgive the skit maker.

They both cursed the comedienne when her family took her to Odumeje’s church for prayer, declaring that the ailing young woman will die from her illness as a lesson to others.

Rita and Odumeje, however, made a U-turn after overwhelming public condemnation of their action, saying they had forgiven the comedienne.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife Pastor Dolapo Osinbajo on Monday attended a service of songs for Pastor Dare Adeboye.

The deceased was a son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Prof Osinbajo, who is also a pastor with the megachurch, said the late Dare Adeboye lived a life filled with zeal, speed, and emphasized what was important and needed to be done at the right time.

Although the vice president was in attendance at the service of songs held at the Redemption Camp, his tribute was read by Pastor Bisi Akande, the pastor in charge of Lagos Region 35.

Describing the attributes of Pastor Dare, the vice president stated that “He understood the dynamics and urgency of reaching young people with the gospel, especially because of their fundamental role in the sustainable growth of the church of God.”

According to the vice president, Pastor Dare was in many ways, a representative of the future of Christian ministry, “a new generation birthed in a period of great turbulence in ideas and doctrines, a surfeit of distractions, but committed to ensuring that the unvarnished gospel is preached to that generation.”

He further went on to say that despite his position of privilege, Dare “was deeply and unpretentiously respectful, not just of elders and those in authority, but of everyone, even his subordinates.”

Osinbajo once again offered his condolences to Pastor Dare’s wife Temiloluwa; his children, Oluwatishe, Ireoluwa and Araoluwa; the deceased’s parents Pastors Enoch and Folu Adeboye, his siblings, family members, and the entire RCCG family.

Also present at the event were former Governors Gbenga Daniel and Olusegun Mimiko of Ogun and Ondo states respectively, wife of former Imo State governor Mrs. Nneoma Okorocha, president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Bishop Wale Oke, and several other dignitaries.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said on Wednesday that they have arrested an 80-year-old woman, her 19-year-old granddaughter and two other women for allegedly selling cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, tramadol, swinol, and skuchies, Igbere TV reports.

A statement by the agency’s spokesperson Femi Babafemi said the suspects were arrested following intelligence-based raids and follow-up operations on their locations in Akure, Ondo State capital.

The octogenarian Mary Adebayo, and her granddaughter Funmilola Adebayo were arrested at 6:30 am on Sunday, May 2 at Ayeyemi Street, Akure South Local Government Area, the statement said.

Mr Babafemi further said 192 kg of cocaine and other psychoactive substances were recovered from the suspects and the two other women – Tessy Matthew, 25, and Blessing Adesida, 25.

Items recovered from them were two deep freezers and a TVS motorcycle.

Matthew was arrested also on May 2, at about 1:30 pm, during a raid at Rate Hotel, Care Street in Akure South Local Government Area. Adesida was arrested in Oshinle area of Akure South LGA.

“As a result of the bust, Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) has directed the acting Commander, Ondo state command of the Agency, Callys Alumona to launch a manhunt for other members of the drug cartel now on the run,” the statement said.

The lady who is simply identified as Wynterm on Twitter said in a bid to make more money selling her sex work, she decided to shoot a video where she engaged in party.

According to her, she invited a colleague of hers who also is a sex worker to join her and her man to make the video shoot.

OnlyFans is a content subscription service based in London, United Kingdom where sex workers nowadays sell their nudes. The sex workers who are referred to as 'content creators' on the platform earn money from users who subscribe to their content – the "fans".

The sex worker in a series of now deleted tweets said she hate herself for allowing the incident happened to her.

She also advised her fellow sex workers that no amount of OnlyFans money is worth what she is currently experiencing.
