Kennywills7:Please list PDP e-warriors also. We understand there are even APGA e-warriors. Governorship aspirant Alex Otti of APGA seems to have some strong campaigners online. He seems to have grassroot support in Abia State, and is giving TA Orji nightmares, not that I really. I think Abians should kick that clown out. |
Descartes (balanced) - *** Oduastate (APC) - ** |
henchamb:Seems he is balanced. What do you think? |

Note how everyone gave OBJ so much space. Nobody seems to want to stand too close to him ![]() Trust Patience Jonathan, he is trying to push OBJ away. Seems to be saying ** baba abeg comot for my front joor ** BTW: Did anyone notice, OBJ is keeping a very stony face. He is not smiling at all. Choi wahala dey ooo. Baba is not smiling ![]() |
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu, has said that all those who are accusing President Goodluck Jonathan of corruption are the fathers of corruption. The Oba was speaking in his palace when President Goodluck Jonathan led a delegation of PDP officials to receive his blessings just before the flag-off of the presidential campaign in Lagos State. Oba Akiolu raised (past) issues of corruption (during OBJ's government) with a mention of the Halliburton scandal and the killing of former Attorney-General, Chief Bola Ige but prayed that in the end only the best candidate would emerge in the 2015 general elections. In his speech, President Goodluck Jonathan thanked the Oba for supporting his administration. He described Lagos as the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria that should be of importance to any well meaning politician and which needs the right persons to govern. President Jonathan said that his administration has much to show in the area of transportation, agriculture, road construction and wondered why anyone would say that his administration had not performed. He also wondered why anyone would say he was not fighting corruption, claiming that statistics would soon debunk the lies being told by his critics. He promised to do more when voted into power. |
omenka:I agree with you on all points. GEJ has made mistake of sticking with old and tired warhorses like Col Ahmadu Ali, Olabode George and Anyim Pius Anyim. These people are bereft of new ideas, have little energy, very inflexible, and do not understand modern campaign methods. All they care about is how much they will make from the campaign. However, don't you think you have little challenge with your currency? I mean $21billion. That figure is like the entire national reserves, and is larger than the 2015 Federal Budget. |
barcanista: : otil1: Parenthesis is tongue in cheek ![]() |
GMB should speak out more along these lines. It should not be limited to Twitter which most times are updated by political aides, On important issues bordering on election violence, he should speak out in person. That carries more weight, and wins the heart of skeptics. It will really help to cool things down if he issues such statement in Hausa, which hopefully can be carried in BBC or VOA Hausa service, which has large audience in the core North, where spontaneous reaction and election violence is most likely. |
adeyemi91:Gbam!! Exactly my point. |
Hmmmmmmm!!! Sometimes, I wonder when I see people insulting and killing themselves in social media because of fanatical support for these political gladiators. I don't see any iota of animosity among these people. They wine and dine together, after they will come out and make incendiary remarks, and we will go after each other's throat while they sit in palatial air-conditioned houses popping champagne, and laughing at our collective stupidity. Wise up guys. It is all about how much of your resources they can appropriate for themselves, their children and minions, and legions of hangers on, irrespective of the political leaning, APC or PDP. *** WE ARE WATCHING IN COLOUR *** |
zizazizu:We really feel for Christians in the North, and all the horrible suffering and killings they are going through. ECWA church seems to be particularly targeted, for reasons I just cannot understand. Maybe you fellows up there can tell us more. General Buhari can win lots of hearts in Christian community in the North and more in the South if only he will just use his influence to stop this blatant obliteration of Christian heritage. Infact that 99yr old church is not just a Christian heritage, it is a national heritage. |
sbaks:No I don't reside in Katsina. Will appreciate if you can educate us more about the Funtua crisis, especially if you have first hand experience. |
Oritsejafor, Others Condemn Planned Demolition Of 99-Year-Old Church In KatsinaKastina State Urban and Regional Planning Board (KSURPB) intends to demolish the 99 years old ECWA Church Headquarters Mission in Mataazu in Mataazu Local Government Area of Katsina State claiming that the church has no approved development permit. The plan, according to Katsina state government says it intends to build a road through the middle of the ancient church compound which contains school, the old church premises, and offices. A memo conveying the ultimatum entitled: “Stop Notice” from the Katsina State Urban and Regional Planning Board, signed by one Hussain A. Lawal (Development Control Manager) for General Manager dated January 6, 2015, sent to ECWA Trustees accused the church of building without the necessary legal requirements of planning permission from KSURPB or in violation of such permission. The questions bothering everyone's mind are: 1. How can a 99 yr old church built before Nigeria existed as a nation possess building permit? 2. Katsina landscape is typical sahel arid region, open countryside with enough open and free land which affords for easy detour of this road. Why construct a road straight through such ancient building? THE President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; ECWA President, Rev. Jeremiah Gado and President of Tarayyar Masihiyawan Nijeria (Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Christians), General Ishaku Ahmed Dikko (retd), have criticised the planned demolition of over 99 years old ECWA Church Headquarters Mission in Mataazu in Mataazu Local Government Area of Katsina State by the Katsina State Urban and Regional Planning Board (KSURPB). |
Caseless:Typical abo.ki logic!! NEPA bill is too sophisticated. Why not try supermarket receipt or toilet paper? |
Mumsyfiyin:Even if Lai Mohammed and Odigie Oyegun are caught with cloned PVC cards in their hind pockets, you will still make excuses for them. DSS has taken their time to carry out a meticulous job. We should commend them for stopping electoral fraud before it happens. You nip a crime in the bud while it is at the planning stage, especially if the evidence is so damning as those at APC Data Centres. Hacking softwares, and multiple registrations of people using INEC format in APC Data Centre are enough prima facie evidence that APC is planning to rig the 2015 elections in a scientific and massive scale. No responsible organization will install hacking software on all their official PCs. You can install it in your own personal PC, but not an organization |
DSS has been very methodical in this operation. I commend them. Very professionally done. See link to original post when office was raided: https://www.nairaland.com/2015304/apc-office-raid-dss-releases |
Missy89:Investigation and analysis of evidence precedes prosecution. If you arrest people first before investigation, you will still complain the action is hasty. You will demand to see the evidence. Now, DSS has decided to display the evidence of planned rigging in a grand scale for the whole world to see, yet you still have a problem with that. |
When the blood of baboons and monkeys will flow in Feb 2015, Pastor Bakare will see a different vision. In retrospect, nobody should take this man seriously. We still remember his many contradictory prophecies about OBJ. None came to pass. |
berem:(i) Jonathan always fasts with muslims yearly since he became president as a mark of solidarity with muslims, and to show that he the President of all Nigerians. He has said that himself severally. Did Buhari tell the world what he is doing at RCCG church programme for the first time in his life? (ii) He breaks the fast with VP Sambo, muslim VIPs and top muslim government officials in Aso Rock, he does not go to mosque to break the fast. (iii) He has never visited a mosque in the build up to an election he is a candidate in an obviously arranged event, with his campaign manager in the entourage to grovel for votes. |
sigmundfreud:This is precisely the point. Will Prof Osibanjo, a Redeemed senior pastor now go and worship at a mosque?? If he does not, that means that all these church visits by Buhari is just photo trick to hoodwink voters. Buhari could easily win this election if he simply concentrates on selling his manifesto to the public, and moderates his hardline views on religion and dislike to free press. |
BonaVIta:He was grimacing. An expression of intense discomfort. This happens when someone feels severe dislike for his current location, situation or circumstances. Buhari was clearly not very pleased being in that church service, but he has to follow the advise of his campaign team to do the needful to win core Christian votes. You can clearly see he was compelled to go that event. |
berem:Why is it impossible for Buhari loyalists to advance their cause without abusing and insulting people? And what makes you think you know who I will vote for? In any case, who really is a sadist? Or is it "saddist"? I think the following fits the mold of a sadist: A man who incites his followers to burn churches, burn shops and businesses owned by Christians and slaughter NYSC members serving their fatherland as INEC electoral officers in the North during 2011 elections, and up till now (4 years after), has not found it fit to express remorse or visit to condole those grieving families. The following fits the mold of a hypocrite: 1) A man who promises not to relent until he implements sharia across the entire country. The implementation of sharia in many Northern States has resulted in persecution and killing of Christians. Companies producing alcoholic beverages have had their products destroyed and trucks burnt. Buhari has not recanted that speech he made at NCSIA seminar way back in 2001. This same man is now groveling in churches, begging for votes from the same Christians he seeks to destroy. 2) A man who called for his supporters to soak the streets with the blood of dogs and baboons (a derogatory reference to Christians and Southerners in general), in the aftermath of the 2011 elections because of the anger of losing and elections, is now going back shamelessly to in pretense to attend a church service for the very first time in his life, all in a bid to become Nigerian President by all means. The man that fits both molds is General Muhammadu Buhari Make no mistake about it, I like a few qualities about him. However, his disregard for human life, especially that of Christians, and his refusal to modify, moderate his fanatical views, or show concern and remorse for lives lost due to his reckless and inciting comments, and his intolerance of any form of criticism and free press makes me and millions to distrust this fellow. |
condralbede:On their way to the church they can wear their caps. However, once service starts, all men are required to remove their caps. Buhari refused to remove his cap. |
Rooneyboy:Only Buhari refused to remove his cap. His close aide in agbada took a cue from him, and refused to remove his cap as well. |
After the church service commences, all men according to Christian belief of reverencing God, remove their caps. Fashola, dutifully removes his cap. 1. Buhari defiantly refuses to remove his cap. See picture below. 2. Everybody in front row with the Church Programme containing the hymn, are singing. Buhari looks at the hymn, but refuses to sing. His lips are firmly closed. He just grimaces in pain for being there at all. This is a sign of things to come if he wins the 2015 election. Buhari clearly has no respect for Christians or Christianity. He went to the church just to win votes. If there are votes to be won in a juju shrine, he will go and worship that juju.

nationwide1:Taciturn!!![/size] That is exactly the problem with GMB. Nigerians really do not know what plans he has for this country. We shall all be shocked when he mounts the throne. When he bares his fangs, many dancing now will again receive dead bodies again from the North. |
We have had Eze Goes to School ..... In the build up to 2015 election, we now have Buhari Goes to Church.... ![]() What will politicians not do to win election? Please let us ask him the following 4 questions now: 1) If he wins the election, will he still proceed with implementation of Sharia all over the country as he had earlier promised? 2) Will he keep attending Redeemed church services from time-to-time as a public demonstration of tolerance to people other faiths, and as president of the whole country, and not become a Sharia President after he wins the election? 3) Will he now speak up publicly condoling the still grieving families of NYSC members and Christians slaughtered by his fanatical supporters as a direct result of his inciting utterances before and after the 2011 elections? 4) Will he now speak up, and commit himself to disavow violence and good conduct during coming elections? |
Franzeez:The only response they have is hate, insults, abuse, and threats of violence & killings if Buhari loses. |
Kolade354:Let me do the hard work for you. Start with the link below. Thank me later. https://www.nairaland.com/2070820/ten-successful-reforms-carried-out |
