Uncle, if you can't decipher the sarcasm in my post, then get lost before I force-feed you some of the burukutu baba reserved for GEJ. I wonder where you misplaced your humour. koshi jare
Unfortunately, this is the trademark of most Nigerians. With a little change in the pocket, we feel on top of the world and start demanding preferential treatment. Patoranking just got served, nepotism, cronyism and favouritism does not exist outside the shores of Nigeria. Get used to it
@boeing777pilot, why is it that abuja - dubai is 6 hours long, but dubai - abuja is 7 hours? secondly, is the earth's rotation factored into flight plans?
LR has longer range, that's why I'm going to miss it.
It means shorter flights for me now.
The B777-200LR actually holds the world record for longest non stop flight. It can stay up to 19hours airborne.
B777-300ER around 12 hours
Le boss, I believe the 777-300ER can do more than 12 hours. Last year, I was on a flight from Orlando to Dubai on Emirates 777-300ER and the flight lasted for 15 hours and 40 minutes. double check though
Moskolino: Good afternoon everyone. Looking for an aviation school to learn to become a Pilot ,Aeronautical engineer? Check out KEILIR AVIATION ACADEMY , located in ICELAND. I'm a Nigerian and I'll be travelling this August to study. It's really an amazing school. Course duration (2years)
Hi bro, how much is the estimated cost of the training? also, cost of living, accommodation, visas, etc. Thanks
TonyeBarcanista: Unfirtunately, you would have understood that the article is not about PDP but a case for young people to be part of leadership
Mr Tonye, I'm a recent graduate of Engineering. please how can I join the PDP? Can we discuss via email. contact me on chimeziemichael21@gmail.com Thanks
buttercop: Aha kilode? F.U.T Minna and F.U.T.O. EEE departments are competing for worst dept. That was how my guys were complaining after writing ng their EEE 501 exam last semester. I recall one year when the final year students rebelled and said they were not going write the exam set by one Engr Shola. The then HOD had to step in and set questions for them to add to the ones they had. See as the children for each question boku.
My brother, EEE is also like that here o, very evil department. But telecommunication department is more civil. The same thing happened here in FUTminna, the study to resorted to writing letter to the HOD and signing, the man was forced to look into the matter
Hi guys, now that i've got your attention , i want to bring to our attention a recent finding of mine.
Recently, i checked vacancies for cabin crew jobs in arik because of my interest in travel. I also checked some other international airlines and discovered that, as with all nigerian jobs, the requirements are way too much. I'm not saying that employers should not demand more from employees but by comparing the requirements between ARIK air and RYANAIR, i've come to realise that most vacancies in Nigeria have very strict requirements. What can be done to curb this menace? See the photos below.
tosyne2much: This is kinda tough ooooo.. I know some students will become clueless after scanning all the pages
Yes o my brother, it may seem tough to people in other disciplines, but it's piece of cake for us . We were overly prepared. This goes to show that Nigerian graduates are well trained and drilled, all those saying Nigerian graduates are not employable are either living in denial or simply haters . I would be posting photos of the question papers in other courses to keep us informed. Cheers
Hi guys, today I began my final undergraduate exams. Being a student of telecommunication engineering, these are some of the questions we answered in OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
Modified; Sorry guys, the internet in my locality is kinda poor. I had some delays uploading
someone should please find me Yuzedooo. I registered on Nairaland in 2013 or so even though I had known of the website since around 2010 but chose to view as a guest. It's been fun being here, I've learnt a lot from the contributions, the bashing, the experiences and all. My advice to seun is to retrain the mods a bit on their roles. cc yuzedo, ymodulus, gbawe, tonyebarcanista,
PriNceNova: If you reading my post, please, i need your help financially to get a drivers licence, it a basic requirement to secure a taxi job urgently, i dont have 25thousand right now and i fear the taxi will be given to someone else soon if i delay, opportunities like this is hard to find. Kindly help me. Thanks
Mr man, driver's license does not cost more than 10k, I don't know what you want to achieve by saying 25k. I hope you're not a scammer
TonyeBarcanista: The story is the same in both camps. The solution is simply introduction of a new system to be led by spirited party and other youths that are not beneficiaries of the oldies corrupt system.
If the movement doesn't actualise what it aimed at within the political parties, it could transmute into a political movement and eventually a party driven by youngies and pursued by them.
celebration of mediocrity. is this the role model one wants for his daughter? I'm not hating but popular women should learn to have some decency and decorum especially in the public eye. #peace

This is the basis of my annoyance for being a Nigerian. The twitter posters refused to see the message, instead they sought to slaughter the messenger. Frankly, that picture may not be far-fetched considering how we as Nigerians refuse development and even go as far as vandalising infrastructure. A little kid once told me "na as goat take stand, na him them dey price am". If we want better recognition of Nigeria, we should strive to encourage development in our own little way and project the right images. those insulting CNN would have done better by posting photos of the high-brow areas in Lagos.
