I'll google to check if Aliexpress do offer Black Friday deals. But to save oneself custom duties wahala make I just order through one of our dealers here. The Noobody guy seems a competent bloke, I guess.

Noobody is a great guy. Spoke with him on whatsapp about the note5 pro b4 i changed my mind. His prices are fair too.

If i am to change my mind later then its him i'll buy from.

By Slow you mean like how long can it take?

It's surely real, even on gearbest, but shipment is normally a big challenge then. You may have to wait for months before you get your item.

I remember getting my pc from Konga when black friday was actually something, but it is quite unfortunate now as the level of scam being pepertuated is off the hook.

That being said, i am hoping there is a thing as 'black Friday' on Aliexpress.

It mostly depends on the type of headphone you have. I have changed over 3 profiles due to different headphones

I think a post should be made on general tweaking, modding & common problems to encounter and fixes..that way one can easily achieve d main purpose of this thread.

Also how to flash custom roms, unbrick d device for those that know how to. This will go a long way to help.

Hello guys

My windows 8.1 pc only charges my android phones, I can't transfer files from phone to pc and vice versa.

I also tried toggling the usb options on the android devices,but it doesn't move from "Charge only" to "File transfer" option on my phones.

This mostly happens when the phone driver fails to properly install on the pc.

Here's what to do:

Try another usb, then another port on ur pc.

Optionally, you can use Xender connect to pc. It equally does the job.

You would have to go back to the official Chinese/global rom and that would require you to unlock your bootloader. See this thread for anything related to that.

You would get OTA with Chinese rom or global rom(same update as global version), the only time you won't get any form of updates is if the seller flashed a FAKE/SHOP rom.

Exactly. Because i have seen some pipo getting updates on d chinese version global rom+Ota.

So lets say somehow seller flash a fake shop rom on ur chinese version, what do u do to fix that and be eligible for updates?
