Thanks soooo much! It worked. But is the billing info the school am sending the result to? I want to know before paying
The billing info should be that of the card you're paying with i.e. the contact/address details of the account number as registered in the bank.

Thanks for your time. This is what I got after filling my personal information and test date
After selecting your test centre and date, as shown in picture 2 (same with what you have, right??), click on the test time displayed (10:00am, the blue font), it should redirect you to picture 3, where you can select yes, complete the necessary info and proceed with your payment.

I already create a Gre account. After filling the exam date no information on payment shows not even in my mail
The first picture is what I got after filling out the personal details, I just clicked on "I understand and agree", then clicked on "proceed to check out" in the 2nd pic, it then redirected me to the third pic, where I can either choose to pay via visa or pay pal, the 4th pic is what you should have if you selected visa while you should get the fifth pic if you opted for pay pal.

Thanks for your reply. How do i pay with my credit card as there is no where provided to insert my info?
Do you have a gre account?? the first step in registering for the gre exam yourself is to create a gre acct by clicking on the "mygre" link. After which you can pay with a visacard or via paypal.

You're right, just went over the calculation again the answer is truly 10 minutes.
Alright boss

abbey621:

The answer is 1 minute.

10 machine= 10 doughnuts = 10 minutes
1 machine = 1 doughnut = 1 minute so if we have 100 machines with each machine producing a doughnut in 1 minute, we would have 100 doughnuts in 1 minute assuming they all produce at the same interval.

If one machine produces 1 doughnut in 1 minute, I guess 10 machines working at the same interval for 10minutes will produce 100 doughnuts, cos each will be producing 10 doughnuts in 10 minutes.

I think the number 2 ans is 1m
I think it's 10 mins bro.

10machines produce 10doughnuts in 10minutes. That means 1 doughnut is produced in 1 minute.
Therefore each machine contribution per minute is 1/10.
For 100 machines: 1 minute production = 100 * 1/10 =10 doughnuts.
Since 10 doughnuts take 1 minute, therefore, 100 doughnuts will take 10mins.

please how can i register and pay for the GRE exam ? all the prices am seeing online are so expensive 50,000naira, please how do i register and choose a centre
Visit www.ets.org/gre and create a mygre acct. Next, you creatie a paypal acct (that should take you less than thirty minutes), link it to any of your bank accts, chill for verification of the acct by paypal, that's gonna take a day or two I guess. Then you can do the reg by ursef using the paypal acct. Alternatively, you can try using a visa card, cos mastercard isn't accepted for GRE reg in nigeria presently I guess. Gurus in the house might also help with other suggestions.

Online rankings would probably help you.. but apart from getting a good school, your choice of advisor vis-a-vis research interests and quality of research is VERY important. I'd be more concerned about getting to do what I really want, with an outstanding researcher in that field.
Thanks boss. I actually used gradschool/us news for the shortlist. Had to peruse the chemistry department of some other universities and reduced the list to this (I am still open to other suggestions though). I guess going through some works of the researcher should show his/her quality, or what do you think bro? Really appreciate.

Yes I get the gist but wont the prospective grad school be skeptical that how did my documents get into the same big envelope with my transcript ? wont that invalidate it or make it unofficial?
Having obtained helpful info from djmakson. I guess you should just visit your undergrad school and make inquiries about how the whole process works, then you will know the best way to go about it.

No one cares about what you worried about. That's why they place emphasis on the transcript being sealed in it's own envelope. You can now put your enveloped transcript in a bigger envelope alongside the docs.

You see, there's a way transcript envelopes are sealed such that if it's opened, one will always know.
Thanks djmakson. Edited my post to effect the change.

Oh! I actually thot all schls were like the OOU I finished from. In my various cases, I was given my transcript but it was already sealed (which is the most important). So I had the opportunity of sending some other docs with it.
Oga mi, He can actually try visiting the exams and records division of his school, or whichever department is responsible for rolling out the transcript. My school doesn't give transcript to individual, but if you yarn with the people in charge of the process, they can help with adding additional materials that might need to go alongside the transcript in a bigger envelope containing the sealed transcript. They already have this courier service people around sef, so you could ask questions about the duration of delivery and other clarification that you might need. I guess visiting his undergrad school will answer most of his questions

One thing we should try and take note is that it is not school that will grant visa and the embassy states that financial statement is needed as proof and supporting document during interview and a VO decided to see the financial statement as a proof before granting visa to applicant or VO doesn't not but make sure you have it available during the interview

Thanks boss...Noted!!!

Nice question but if am not wrong financial statement is still needed to proof that applicant can afford his flight fee down to Obamaland grin grin grin

But some schools categorically state that the level of funding that would be received will be enough to procure a student visa for the prospective student cos the school will take care of all funds including health insurance. I guess it's a two way thing Abi what do you think oga Walspring.. To trek go US na another option naa
