Not saying the raptors will win, but you seem to have forgotten that kawhi's spurs was beating GSW by 20pts before Zaza's curse struck. Kawhi's defense is just extraordinary(one of the things Nick has said recently that I agree with is that there is elite defense and above that is what kawhi can do). Imagine a scenario where they put him a Draymond from full court especially when Green is initiating the offense. The amount of steals/turnovers kawhi can force in this scenario can hurt GSW.
same thing they said about Chris Paul last year and we all knew how that turned out undecided
TravelDubai’s Prime Minister Opens Up Path For Permanent Residency In Dubai by CuteRedd(op):
Thousands of foreign investors and residents have been identified for a new "golden card" permanent residency scheme.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, announced the move on Tuesday.

He said the current investments of the 6,800 selected investors and residents are worth an estimated Dh100 billion.

The new permanent visa is intended to generate foreign investment and encourage entrepreneurship, as well as to attract top engineers, scientists and students.

Exact criteria for the visa are yet to be made public, but more details are expected in the coming days. Permanent residency will be extended to the spouse and children of the cardholder.

"We launched today a permanent resident system named 'Golden Card' in the UAE. It is a permanent residency for investors and for exceptional workers in the fields of health, engineering, science and art," Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

"The first batch of Golden Card permanent residence holders will be 6,800 investors whose investments total Dh100 billion.

"Throughout history, the UAE opened its door to millions of people looking to pursue their dreams and better their lives. The Golden Card is our way to welcome all those seeking to be a part of the UAE’s success story and making it a second home,” Sheikh Mohammed said.

Typically, foreign residents have renewable visas that are valid for two or three years and often tied to their employment. However, last year the government announced plans to reform its visa policies.

It pledged to open up the system to allow five and 10-year visas for sought-after professionals and academics and for long-term investors.

The permanent residency programme set out on Tuesday goes one step further than this.

Many countries offer forms of permanent residency. Among the most notable is the Green Card system in the United States – often issued to priority workers, relatives of existing residents and $1 million-plus (Dh3.6m) investors – and Portugal, whose "golden visa" is given to those investing in property, setting up a business or creating jobs.

hello nairalanders. I'm new on this thread.

sometimes last week, I was searching through Google for universities in the US with low tuition fees. Then, I came across something I don't quite understand.

There's in-state tuition fees and out of state tuition fees. And in-state tuition fees is less, very less than out-of-state tuition.

I don't quite understand this.
I'll appreciate some explanation.
Thanks.
in state: legal residents of that state
Out of state: Non residents of the state (includes international students).

If you play that way all game, the role players will be cold and your team will suffer.
not saying they should run the play everytime, saying if Portland watched the film between rockets and warriors, they would at least have a clue what was going on in that last play which led to warriors leading.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by CuteRedd(f): 4:44am On May 17, 2019
That pnr with steph and draymond is money every time. We ran that 5 times against the rockets in the last 3min of 4th quarter. Couldn’t believe Portland fell for it...

Put some respeck on Draymond’s name. He shows up everytime in the playoffs!! I hope we find a way to keep all three guys at least.

It's just a suggested list, to help you remember some little things that you'd otherwise forget.
The broom is that small one for ewedu and Shea butter is probably for hair/body. It would be expensive to get original raw Shea butter in Canada.

So Chris Paul stopped curry from practicing his shot in the eve of game 6.

According to Thompson, Curry had reserved practice time on the Rockets court on Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Paul reportedly got wind of it and went to the arena to deny Curry's practice time. From Thompson:

"On the night before Friday's Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals, after arriving from the Bay Area, Curry wanted to get some shots up at Toyota Center. The Warriors' do-it-all manager, Eric Housen, booked the court from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. so Curry could work on his shot. Somehow, Rockets guard Chris Paul got wind. He decided to go to Toyota Center to get shots up, nixing Curry's reservations. The Warriors' point guard offered to stick to half a court, but Paul wasn't having it. Curry was kicked off the Toyota Center court."

According to Thompson, after the Warriors beat the Rockets, Curry yelled to Draymond Green, "Kick me off the court again, boy!" Green replied, "Kick him off! Kick him off!"

That guy no get sense!!

Tied game 57-57 HT.

Klay with 21. He is carrying this team as the other role players put in a shift. Quinn has to give some form of offence in this but this is good as Curry has 0 pts and 3 fouls.

I still expect a Curry masterclass in the 2nd half.
not just Quinn, Livingston has to contribute also. He is our 2nd team guard after all.

Please theres this portion in the ds160 form where they asked who's paying for your trip. In there, I put my fathers details.

Although I received an assistantship that covers the cost in my i20, I still want to take an SOA to the embassy just in case but the SOA I plan to take is my uncle's not my dad's.

Can the ds160 form be edited after submission? If yes, do I need to change the information on who will be paying for my trip from my father to my uncle?
i doubt it can be changed but take both your dad’s soa and your uncle’s.

Hi guys I think we should create a thread for students in the diaspora (USA) to share their experiences, informations and general conversations like how they are surviving in the USA etc. I believe a thread of its own would be beneficial to everyone. What do you all think?
This thread has been so helpful and I am sure a lot of people have gleaned from the wealth of information on this thread, which has been pivotal to us making better decisions. I hope we can continue to share and help one another as we transition out of this phase that the thread depicts into a new phase (life as a student in the USA). I have decided to follow through on creating a thread that serves that purpose. So we can continue to help one another.

TravelGraduate Students In The Disapora (USA) Come In Here And Share Your Experiences! by CuteRedd(op): 9:58am On May 05, 2019
So I decided to create a thread for grad students (post bachelors degree) to enable them share their experiences (from settling in, expenses, housing, saving tips, where to get the Best Buy,lectures, internships, jobs etc) and the whole nine yards about life as a grad student in the US.

I believe that we can help ourselves more by sharing our experiences with others. The goal is to create a strong information network as Nigerians, making the road easier for one another.

Pls ensure that your post carries the name of your school, state, your degree and state your current status (seeking internships, student, seeking opt,h1b, employed).

No information is useless. Ask questions! share! Share!! Share!!!

Curious101:
Hello guys ! My visa was granted , here’s my transcript.

My interview was supposed to be in August 2018 at the U.S embassy ABJ,but on the day of the interview ,I went to the embassy And to my greatest surprise the embassy told the securities to tell us they were on strike and anybody with any urgency should go to the Lagos consulate ( although I’ve traveled all the way from Lagos and there was no mail from the embassy about the apparent change).i looked at positive side of it and went home , although I couldn’t go to the Lagos Embassy because there wasn’t enough time until my school resumes , so I had to wait for fall 2019. Long story short , I scheduled my interview for Jan 17 2019 .

It was the morning of my interview and I had prayed fervently and fasted and also was very nervous as hell but I didn’t stop believing.
Time for my interview and the person Interviewing me was a black thin lady who wasn’t smiling at all .;(
* still very nervous, wasn’t confident at all *

V.O : good morning, let me have your ppt and I.20
Me: * passes it * “good morning” * with a crooked smile on my face *
V.O: So were in California are you going

Me: California State University Bakersfield

V.O To do what

Me: to obtain bachelors degree in criminal justice and law enforcement administration.

V.O; what did you do after sec sch edu .

ME: I did a diploma in political science at the university of Benin and afterwards went for a compulsory industrial training.

V.O: why didn’t you pursue a bachelors in the course you studied instead of criminal justice.

M.E; (freaks out a little , said something I don’t even remember)

V.O: * asked the question again *

Me: well i don’t know if it’s allowed to bring ones family problems to a visa interview, but here it goes ; in 2015 my mum was kidnapped and was almost killed, they were like plenty ways for the police to catch these people and save my mum but they didn’t because of the lack of literacy And technology we have at the Nigerian police force.
I’m pursuing the career in criminal justice and law enforcement administration not only to get involved with the shaping of crime policy in Nigeria but also to expose Nigeria to a technology based systems to catch criminals and bring them to Jistice .
V.O: * was nodding with a smile and was typing so fast too *
Felt a huge relief in my heart , then she brought the almighty white paper out and held my bank statement to confirm if it was original. p.s my aunty was sponsorer btw.
I couldn’t go in spring cos my visa came out late , it’s the schools fault though ?they didn’t send my 1.20 on time and now I’ll have to wait for fall ( a whole 8 months in this Naija ).
I just want to thank God and everyone that dropped their transcript here , I learnt a lot from you all and I’m so grateful. And to all the professors in the house , I’m sorry for the blunders and the improper use of my grammar and punctuations , I’m not perfect .
And I’m also open to making new friends, if you’re in California and would like to be friends when I come please HMU.
wow congratulations. Hope your mum is ok? Can imagine what you went through which spurred your zeal to study this course. I am hopeful for Nigeria because of people like you. Wish you the very best.
