I just want to point out , a salary of $90,000 a year comes to about $65,000 a year after tax . You still have to factor the owner of this salary will pay Mortage or Rent , Food , Clothes and other bills . Easily that can slash that 65,000 to half of what is left or less than half . If he has children and family then there hardly anything left self. Then to tell a VO that person would sponsor a non biological child with that figure 38k on a 90k salary

Let pray you are just ask on a high-level who is your sponsor and what does he do, without going into breakdown of salary . Once you start breaking it down, you see it not easy for someone working abroad to fully sponsor someone. but Nigerians never believe. Some people have successfully sponsored but its not easy and kudos to those sponsors . A man earning 90k in the US with a family is not a rich man at all, so welldone to him

Did you see “But if not” in my post? I guess that takes care of it. Also you have added a caveat of the person not being intelligent, which i believe is not entirely true because we measure intelligence based on one source of truth but that is another topic for another day. That means the person doesn’t have the capacity to improve other aspects like GRE, SOP, and maybe hasn’t done quite well in the work experience aspect. Which I think “but if not” has covered.

“Shreyas Renukuntla“ with a 2.8/4 converted CGPA, he had 5backlogs in his bachelors degrees he had to retake. GRE 314. His game changer was his SOP and interviews which he used bolster his profile & it helped him clinch Cornell University (Ivy League) Ms Systems Engineering. I read his post. He gave a good advice no doubt. I just have problem with his top schools this and that into every conversation. Not everyone has the right profile to join a top school and he is saying everyone has the potential to join a top school. That's just where i have problem with his post.

@bolded he is right tho, if they bolster the rest of their profiles. But if not, attending a top school though may come with its benefits but it isn’t the holy grail for success in life. So let everyone be true to themselves and pursue their goals according to their own desires.

Every candidate has the right school for his or her profile. Not everyone will attend a top school. Before you advise someone to join a top school, try and know the person's profile. This your random advice on top school this and that irritates me.

he advices on top school because of the money you want to spend because that is the only way the ROI would make sense especially for the course you want to study. My dear go and watch Dave Ramsey on YouTube and be humbled at how many Americans are on loan debt studying programs that has no clear ROI relative to the amount spent in getting that program.

It’s not rocket science. My advice would be to look for a cheap school and target GA if you are bent on studying this course.

Mr. Top 20 schools, Just know that it's not everyone that has the right profile (GPA & Test scores) to get admitted in top schools. The way you tell people to join top schools as if its within their power gets me tired atimes, when some doesn't even have the right profile.

did you read his post at all? That is the best True advice anyone could have given him. It’s like anytime you guys see “bracelum”, you don’t want to care what he has to say even if it makes sense.

This is a faceless forum but the way people are sensitive and won’t even acknowledge an advice especially when it comes from someone you all have tagged “outcast” is surprising. Your saving grace “advice” might just be in the mouth of the person you don’t like. People like this can’t have mentors. The question is, can people look beyond those flaws to get the treasures? If they can’t, then I doubt people like that can go very far.

Stop being too sensitive, it’s a faceless forum. Analyze things objectively. It would be for your own good.

BTW, notice that Curry was CLEARLY fouled by Siakam and FVV but the Refs swallowed their whistle. Not one soul has talked about it except Grant Hill. McKinnie, Jerebko missed 4 WIDE OPEN 3pt shots in the first half..and nobody talked about it. But I heard them repeating that Raptors missed open shots. LOL. Open shots with someone in your face.

The one thing the Raptors did was get all the 2nd chance points in the game which was like 23 to 0 or something like that. Mayorall baba of shipping! Well you would have to take the GRE or GMAT if you do well you can get juicy scholarships. I haven’t seen any MBA program that is $10k dollars + living expenses. Take a look at university of UTAH and other schools. If you can do well in your GRE/GMAT you can get fully funded. Wish you the best.
