Let MI35Ms or UCAVs ride shotgun for military convoys. The flights should then morph into normal daily ISR flights.

Progressively create a traffic light type of classification of safe corridors based on info from patrols, spotters, ISR flights and analytical risk assessments.
Only red and amber areas should take maximum attention. That way you don't dissipate resources patrolling safe zones at the detriment of hazardous zones that insurgents are just moving to.

There should also be dedicated quick response aircraft to hunt and kill members of ISWAP ambush parties immediately after an event.

Effective communication is needed, we need enough radio's in the Battlefield.

Sources report another ambush by Islamic State militants on a Nigerian army convoy on the Dikwa-Marthe highway in Borno state. They talk about twenty killed soldiers. No other details were reported. Recall that the last ambush on Nigerian soldiers took place on September 15 in the same state, as a result of which 12 to 18 soldiers were killed. We are waiting for details.

It is so pathetic, more than 10 soldiers lost their lives in the ambush yet this is the headline they could come up with.

Three days ago ISWAP attacked Soldiers at a checkpoint close to axis. The Military at the Checkpoint thought it was a military convoy.

No life was lost, but ISWAP took the military Sansara (Toyota Landcruiser truck)

Across most checkpoints in Nigeria, they don't bro, I have said this over and over again.
