Never keep a smooth going relationship. take time to offend her and create small trouble it adds spice to the relationship else you become too good. Ignore her calls at least twice even if you are not doing anything and call back a few minutes later. Either be a good guy and lose her or be a very good bad guy and keep her.
Proof: grandma always told me in a relationship where couples don't have trouble, one is cheating and the other person is playing the fool. Always being there for her will definitely send the message that you are jobless...she won't miss you if she can get you all the time |
Romance › Opinion 2: Never Disrespect A Girl In The Presence Of Her Dude. by cuvox(op): 9:28am On Nov 08, 2015 |
By Hymar David I remember seeing a meme: it was the picture of a Phil Heath wannabe. Monstrous muscles, anacoda arms, the whole works..
Underneath the picture, the caption goes: You Are In The Club And This Guy Slaps Your Girlfriend's Butt, What Would You Do?.
I dunno what I would do. And that is the TRUTH..
So, there was this guy I knew fairly well back then. He had this girl he was dating, she was in secondary school. SS2 or something. So the girl had one really mean as F teacher who was more of a teen-beater than a dispenser of knowledge. So, the girl and her boyfriend were having this conversation one day and she casually mentions the teacher..
My work was close to the school so I got to know the day the dude stormed the school and fought the teacher. I mean, really fought the teacher. I was like shocked because dude didn't look one bit the fighting kind. He didn't have the body for a brawl unlike the teacher.
When I saw him that day, his clothes were torn but he had this fire in his eyes that put the fear of the Lord God almighty in me..
Lemme rephrase: Do not disrespect a girl who has a boyfriend who is crazy about her. You may not live long enough..
You know that freakish shit Hulk Hogan does in wrestling( Ultimate Warrior did it better IMO) when you would hit him, kick him, bring a chair down on his head and he would just shake it off like he is possessed? That's what it is like when a guy decides to fight you for disrespecting/messing with his girlfriend..
It is worse when you do it in his presence. The spontaneousness of his rage ehn..
I remember walking Missy to the park a long time ago. It was in Lagos. She was Benin-bound. The bus had just filled up when we came and the next bus, nobody was there. Missy decided to pay and wait anyway..
Soon, it became clear we were in for a loong wait.
Madam said, I have changed my mind, let us get another transport company. I said okay..
She went to the park attendant and asked to return her ticket that she didn't think she could wait. And they refused to refund her money, telling her to wait till other travellers arrive..
Lemme digress a little, a couple of months earlier, I found myself in the same scenario. I was travelling to school then. The men refused to return my money for the ticket despite pleas and arguments. I had to go back to wait almost 3 hours before the bus was full..
Back to Madam, she came back looking upset. She said they refused to return her ticket..
I took a look at her face and was like, Okay, give me your ticket, I will go get your money for you..
I will skip the details of what transpired that day. Lol, because a lot of people won't believe anyway. No, Bleep it, here is what happened: I walked to the bus that was about to take off, they were still loading luggages inside. I stood between the men and the door..
"Give me back my money or this bus is not going anywhere," I said..
Of course, they called my bluff. Motor Park pipo no dey play at all. Oh well, I wasn't playing either..
"Abeg, commot for road if you no want wahala.".
I remember my legs were trembling. I was afraid and it was a good sign. I would have been stupid not to be afraid of these guys. Anyway I didn't budge. So this tall, dark dude walks to me and pushed me..
I dunno, but that push woke something furious inside me. Something violent. I pushed back, grabbed a bag and shoved it too..
Lol, long story short, after pushings and shoutings, the men figured I was bloodthirsty or something, they paid me the money and I gave back the ticket..
As I turned away, lugging Missy's bag in one arm, one of them said 'Na because of this girl you dey form champion, I go just beat you troway.'.
Yes, I heard him say that. And I turned, looked at him and laughed. "You had your chance when I was close to you," I said..
Again, I repeat, if you see a girl, respect her. You don't know the kind of person she has in her life. Someone that will send 300 soldiers, 24 hired assassins, 156 Boko Haram foot soldiers, 63 ISIS lieutenants and 9 American snipers to deal with you for messing with his girl..
And if you think your big muscles, your karate and jitsu skills, and your Black Belt will help you if you disrespect a girl in the presence of her guy, THAT guy, you are a FOOL! source https://mbasic.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=986021061436728&id=100000865297273&refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.986021061436728%3Atl_objid.986021061436728%3Athid.100000865297273%3A306061129499414%3A2%3A0%3A1448956799%3A-6611845414788681804&__tn__=%2As |

By Hymar David .You know all these girls that you have been trying to get across to? The ones that would ignore you and later put up Facebook posts like 'I don't like chatting, please understand I don't reply to my inbox, yadda-yadda, yanfu-yanfu'..
You know they are lying right? You know it is code for, I no get your time. Because there is always that person/Persons we make time to chat with..
Lemme ask you a question tho, you think if you were Don Jazzy or Peter Okoye or Tuface Idibia she would ignore you if you even said 'xup baby?'
For wia! In fact, na she go dey chat you up from morning to midnight!.
My point? Chill bro and go first make something out of yourself. This life is harsh on nobodies. Work at being good at something, at excelling in what you are good at. Work at building a name, a reputation. Above all, work on being rich. Because, times are getting increasingly harder for the poor and the broke..
Because no matter how brilliant a poor man is, it is the rich that will carry the day. The poor may have his say but eventually the rich will have his way. It is the way of the world..Work on yourself. On being bigger, being better. Then come back and say 'hi' to any girl on Facebook and see if she go get mind disrespect you..
People will disrespect and keep disrespecting you as long as you stay a nobody, an average Joe, a Jon Snow. But become a somebody and become the Lord Commander of the watch and see what happens..
I am tired of you guys wey broke plus no get money go still dey bring disrespect to diaselves by acting like bugs each time dem girls post one fine pic. Tsheww..

Business › Opinion : Mtn Deserved Ncc Fine - Viola Ifeyinwa Okolie by cuvox(op): 11:46am On Nov 06, 2015 |
There is a reason why I haven't spoken on the MTN matter, it is because businesses as a whole owe their customers a certain standard of service that must be upheld at all times.
We continue to experience shitty services because when the chips are down, we employ sentiments to try to subvert a strong reprimand that will not only deter and punish the offenders, but also send out strong signals to other that "the customer is king" is not just a slogan to be printed out, laminated and hung up behind the customer services area in their branches - it is a pact with the customer!
Take my bank for instance, since 7am I have been trying to execute a simple transaction. All I require from them now is to send a code to my phone to conclude the transaction and that has seemed impossible.
I keep asking that the code be resent and after waiting over 15 to 30 minutes, I log out of my account and then, all the backlogs of codes I request for arrive at once.
At some point, I initiated the transaction again and went in for an aerobics class that lasted an hour.
After the hour, I checked my phone and yet the code hadn't been sent. So I logged out. Immediately, the code was sent in.
Grand
I have called their customer services and they have blamed everything but their crappy systems.
I remember about three weeks ago, I spent 7 hours on phone with them from 12 midnight to 7 am. They were to send me their inward remittance details.
Till date, I do not have it.
I finally had to drive to the bank then to get the needed information, just like I have to drive to the bank now to perform a simple transfer of an amount that is not worth the trouble.
So, if I decide I am tired of the frustrations and decide to sue them and the courts find my case to have merit and award punitive damages in my favour, will someone not consider the fact that I am an entrepreneur and that their consistent delays in delivering simple service, forcing me to take inconveniencing steps in order to remain afloat, has been hurting my business growth?
So big business can thrive in order for small businesses to die?
MTN can well afford to pay those fines, they are punitive in nature.
I support the fine. They should pay it, they will not collapse under the pressure.
A lot of small businesses could have failed during the period MTN was playing tinini tanana with subscriber's lines.
Maybe then, the others will sit up.
DSTV will sit up.
Stanbic IBTC will sit up.
They do not deliver crappy services in their home country but because they know Nigerians like to "leave am for god", they will come here and try all sorts of rubbish.
I am in support of this one . source https://mbasic.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10207362582799353&id=1129749986&refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.10207362582799353%3Atl_objid.10207362582799353%3Athid.1129749986%3A306061129499414%3A2%3A0%3A1448956799%3A-2876329072940395843&__tn__=%2As |

Health › Ogun Govt Raises Alarm Over Toxic Imported ‘ponmo’ by cuvox(op): 7:46am On Nov 06, 2015 |
lalasticlala, ishilove, seun... ABEOKUTA—Ogun State government has raised an alarm over the discovery of poisonous cattle hide and skin otherwise known as ‘Ponmo’ in some markets in the state, warning the people against its consumption.
The government said some unscrupulous businessmen were taking advantage of the gap in demand and supply of the soup ingredient popularly called ‘Ponmo’ to sell industrial ‘Ponmo’ laden with tanning chemicals to the unsuspecting public.
The state commissioner for Agriculture, Ronke Sokefun raised the alarm, yesterday, while addressing stakeholders and ‘Ponmo’ sellers in her office, in Abeokuta.
Sokefun explained that the toxic ‘Ponmo’ otherwise known as ‘imported ponmo’ is often brownish black, foul smelling, abnormally thick with layers and ridiculously cheap compared to the certified ponmo.
According to her, what is being sold is raw hide meant for leather production from African and European countries like Sudan, Italy and Japan.
“Tanning chemicals like biocides and fungicides are added along the processing chain to preserve the hides against protein degradation, bacteria and mould growth that would have damaged the hides and skin,” she said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/ogun-govt-raises-alarm-over-toxic-imported-ponmo/ |
Crime › SS2 Student Who Stabs Senior To Death For Punishing Him, 6 others arrested by cuvox(op): 7:31am On Nov 06, 2015 |
this is an update on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2714721/gaskiya-college-student-stabs-seniorLAGOS—Saka Hammed, the 19-year-oldstudent of Gaskia College, Amukoko, Lagos, who allegedly stabbed a prefect, Saheed Jimoh, to death on Wednesday for punishing him over lateness, has been arrested by police.
He was said to have been arrested by policemen attached to Amukoko Division, in his hideout somewhere around the vicinity, at about 6.40p.m., yesterday.
Also arrested earlier were six students of the college. Vanguard gathered that before his arrest, the suspect’s father was invited by the Police for questioning. At 2p.m., he was still being interrogated by the police.
When Vanguard visited Gaskia College yesterday, normal school activities had resumed as students were seen in their respective classes receiving lectures.
Officials from the office of Educational Quality Assurance, Zone 14, were also sighted in the school, compiling reports of the incident. The school’s Principal was not around, but a man who identified himself as the Vice Principal, was hostile to reporters, saying he was not authorized to speak to the press.
However, a student, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “There are several cult factions in the school. It is an open secret that many students are involved in cult-related activities and the use of charms.“One of the common charms used by some of the students is called no touch blood, which is a very poisonous charm that kills instantly when it comes in contact with blood.
“Perhaps, in the case of Saheed, his killer could have tried to test the potency of the charm.”Another senior student revealed that that the fleeing Saka Hammed only resumed for the term on Monday.
The student said: “He failed woefully and was supposed to repeat SSS 2. He was in the same class with the deceased, who was promoted SSS 3. But he stopped coming to school.
“On Monday, his father brought him to school to see the principal. Only for the incident to occur on Wednesday.”
A police source told Vanguard that the case would be investigated to its logical conclusion. source http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/killer-of-school-prefect-6-others-in-police-net/picture of the murdered student attached below CC lalasticlala ishilove

Business › Naira Drops, As BVN Paralyses Forex Market by cuvox(op): 7:31am On Nov 05, 2015 |
LAGOS — Activities at the retail segment of the official foreign exchange market were grounded, yesterday, as end users avoided bureaux de change (BDCs), to avoid submitting their Biometric Verification Number (BVN) for foreign exchange transactions.
This, however, resulted in sharp increase in demand for dollars at the black market, prompting the naira to depreciate to N230 per dollar from N225.
Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) made the BVN a criteria for sale and purchase of foreign exchange by banks and bureaux de change (BDCs) effective November 1.
Vanguard investigation, however, revealed that instead of foreign exchange end users submitting their BVN to BDCs as mandated by the CBN, most of them moved to the black market for their foreign exchange needs. This in turn increased demand in the market, prompting the parallel market exchange rate to rise to N230 per dollar from N225 at the close of business on Tuesday.
Confirming this development to Vanguard, Mr. Harrison Owoh, Chief Executive Officer, H.J Trust BDC said that “most of the customers were not willing to submit their BVN due to fear of what it might be used for. This has slowed down sales of forex by BDCs because we can’t sell without obtaining the BVN.”
An Abuja-based BDC manager, who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity said that the problem was severe in Abuja, with BDCs having difficulty selling the dollars purchased from the CBN, last week.
“As I am talking to you, most BDCs in Abuja may not take dollars from CBN today (yesterday) because we have not sold the ones we bought last week. The customers do not want to submit their BVN for security reasons. They are patronising the black market, that is why the rate has gone up sharply, and I can tell you, the rate might rise higher if the situation persists.”
President of Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON), Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, however, blamed the situation on lack of adequate awareness on the part of the CBN before implementing the policy. He said that while ABCON, as a partner in progress with the CBN supports the use of BVN as criterion for foreign exchange transactions, the association had, however, called the attention of the apex bank to the need to delay implementation to allow massive publicity to create awareness among the populace.
“We had predicted what is happening now, that in the absence of adequate awareness, patronage will shift to the black market, leading to depreciation of the Naira in the market”, he said. source www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/naira-drops-as-bvn-paralyses-forex-market/CC lalasticlala ishilove |
Crime › Man In Prison For Slapping Wife’s Friend by cuvox(op): 7:19am On Nov 05, 2015 |
lalasticlala come and see o By Bartholomew Madukwe
An Ejigbo Magistrate’s court in Lagos has remanded a 44-year-old man, Oluokun Olarewaju, in prison for allegedly slapping his wife’s friend, Miss Christiana Duntoye, who told his wife that she saw him with another woman.
According to the charge, the incident happened at 84, Rasaki Tijani Street, Ikotun, where Olarewaju resides with his family, while his wife’s friend (Duntoye) resides at 75 of same street.
It was gathered that peace fled Olarewaju’s family when the gossip started.
Olarewaju’s wife confronted him and accused him of engaging in extra-marital affairs and for suddenly changing his attitude at home. After much pressure as to the source of the information, Olanrewaju’s wife allegedly told him that her friend, Duntoye, told her.
During one of their now constant quarrels, Duntoye came visiting and was confronted by the accused, who allegedly slapped her and asked her to leave his house since she tried to break up his marriage.
When the charge was read to the accused before Magistrate A. A. Fashola, he pleaded not guilty. The magistrate granted the accused N50,000 bail, with one surety in like sum, but he was remanded in Kirikiri Prison pending perfection of his bail conditions. source : www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/man-in-prison-for-slapping-wifes-friend/ |

NIGERIANS CAN YAB... CHAI... BUT AFTER THE TWITTER WARS, WHAT'S NEXT? I wish the unity we Naijans used to destroy Ghana and Kenya in Twitter battles, we could just continue in it..
For the first time( not really but first of its kind) I saw Naijans united to prove a point. To show who senior who. And we proved that in grand style. The Kenyans and Ghananians got off some pretty solid shots but for every 1 shot they landed, we had 50 rapid-fire memes to lay the smack down on them..
Unfortunately, when we have gorged ourselves full with masai/kikuyu blood, we return home, cast aside our cutlasses, pick our clubs and start bashing each other. Again..
Being a Nigerian is tiring shit, mehn.
HYMAR DAVID 2015 sometimes I wonder what's wrong with us... Why the hate? We are quick to defend ourselves when an outsider attacks us. I know when Donald Trump insulted us, we were pumped up for war, but let's be sincere : "were we really defending our pride? our country? or were we just looking for an opportunity to show them we can curse too? " Sadly enough, what my friend Hymar wrote there is the bitter truth. The only time we will be united again is when the Golden eaglets play, the super chickens thrill, Olympics, Nations Cup, twitter wars and after that, we will come back home and kill ourselves. We are all pretending to be One.... A life of pretence is not worth living. Stop the hatred. Those killing us are in various political offices across the country. Make someone from another tribe smile today abeg. I use God beg you. Nigeria is not moving forward because you and I fail to see the importance of having each tribe together... that's why the politicians will keep on deceiving us.
