Pataki: I don't know why the Igbos are so despised. But I think they make things difficult for themselves too.

People would rather not want to do business with an Igbo man simply because they think they are so smart. In the long run, they end up out-smarting themselves and ending up as dolts.

Ojukwu was a typical example. And personally I am glad he has passed away. I just hope Igbos will move on from the idiotic mentalities Ojukwu set out for his people.
I hope for the sake of this post you are joking when you said you don't know why Ibos are despised? Well, read this entire topic or read NLand topics to know why. Okay, if you can't, imagine you have allowed a stranger who you considered a friend/acquaintance or whatever to come live in your house for whatever reason. Say his house has just been destroyed, or inhabitable or too hostile, or he just loves to stay in another better environment which is not necessarily a bad thing but turns around to boast against you. They did the same thing in the North which lead to mass killings and headless bodies sent back to biafra in lorries and coaches. Their Nzeogwu and co. had just killed the leaders of their host community and insensitive bastards began to sing a song for them about it. So your host begins to hold you in derision, insults you,...what would you do?

Okay see a realistic, educated and sophisticated Igbo man: Why do igbos always go looking for trouble - http://chatafrik.com/articles/nigerian-affairs/item/321-why-do-igbos-always-go-looking-for-trouble?.html

Dede1: Cyberfool,

I remembered you claimed to be the son of a soldier and wise enough to know there is no such thing as

“Yours very sincerely,

signed Lt. Col. Odumegwu Ojukwu,

Military Governor and Commander in Chief of Biafran Armed Forces”
Dede...this is one of the reasons why you should watch your mouth before you yarn crap to me! Did you see General Kastsumoto's brief account of fighting before Ibo land was known to exist? If my father's godogodo catch you, na to sacrifice you to the 401 gods in the 4 corners of the earth! LOL....but you should grow-up. Seriously. grin grin cool cool

Thank you for those pictures, some of those faces are in the national assembly or owning serious businesses across the globe, does it not bother you that these same people returned and knocked your people out of everything and you guy has cause to get agitated again, maybe its time something tell you that these people are irrepressible?
Empty chest beating again..LOL. so other people are not in the NA? Where are Ibo representatives in the NA supposed to come from if not from Iboas land? And even by numbers, they are fewer than people from other parts of Nigeria which makes your point like putting a gun to your own skull and pulling the trigger!

Now you call me a thug? Whatever...if other Nigerian let you live in their land, they are docile and cowardly, if they kill you in thousands, they are terrorists and it is genocide, if they engage you in war you started and beat you into a pulp, they are lazy and lost the war, if they make their lands attractive to you and foreigners, their lands are conquered, now if they say put your money where your mouth is, now they are thugs?? Okay but yes, let them leave our lands and I will meet you before you cross over and I will travel all the way from where I am to make sure you will never gloat even over a piece of cooked meat in your plate again in your life!

ACM10: You expect Ojukwu to have all the time in the world to respond to your barrage of lies? Which leader goes about responding to all the lies peddled against him? Something must be fundamentally wrong with u.
So ojukuw is too big to answer questions the only thing he did in his life which ended up to be a big disaster leading to 3 M dead? But hausa killed 30,000 you screamed but he killed 3,000,000 and he should be too busy to answer questions about it? Like dede1_foolish blinder than a dingbat, shut your putrid mouth! grin grin cool

Dede1: Also during the interviews you alleged Ojukwu granted, he made it as a duty not to honor rumors and innuendoes such as this letter. I guess you are the only creature that did not know Gowon had no power of influence in eastern region of Nigeria.
Shut your putrid mouth!

asha 80: why don't you make them leave?
Like they left in 1967, they will surely leave! Only this time "Police Action" will be without mercy and I want to personally challenge you to meet up with me before you cross over! I will cross you over to where you will never return to run your big cancerous mouth again. No offence, just acquit yourself like a man! Do you want to see what leaving was like then? See....

Look, I don't care! Can you just leave immediately? When "Police Action" starts now, don't come whining genocide because now you have a great chance to save your unborn generations.

Dede1: Only a moronic dingbat will regard the alleged letter from Ojukwu to Banjo as remotely genuine. This is another handiwork of western Nigerian regional publication of 1967 that planted the crap about Francis Fajuiyi wanting to die with Ironsi.

Heads of State and Commander in Chiefs do not write personal letters to field commanders. All correspondents between the C-in-C and field commanders go through the Army Headquarters.

In the aforementioned fraud called letter from Ojukwu to Banjo, there was no coat of arms of Biafra or government of eastern region yet foolishly enough, the instigators of this crap forgot that Ojukwu could not address to himself as Lt Col, Military Governor and Commander in Chief of Biafran Armed Forces as the conclusion of the letter suggested.

When Ojukwu was Lt Col, he properly addressed himself as Military Governor of Eastern Region of Nigeria. When Biafra was declared, he also properly addressed himself as General and Commander in Chief of Biafran Armed Forces.
Dingbat blinder than a bat, provide the authentic letter for vetting or shut your BIG cancerous trap you call mouth! Tell your losers to leave back to their Biafra village, I am calling in a "Police Action" against them with immediate effect! grin grin cool cool
PoliticsRe: Biafra Group Applies For UN Membership by CyberG: 8:11pm On Aug 14, 2012
netwalker: Interesting news. Of course we all know that the UN shall not do anything so silly as to accord any suhc observer status to the 'Biafran' group (as an aside, you might want to check out the list of groups, ranging from the crazy (Rastafarians) to Chechnyan separatists to the frankly hopeless who have filed such observer requests with the UN. Its simply a publicity ploy which has little symbolism, if any.

As a person of Igbo extraction myself, I would like to wonder if the Igbos are really readty for self government. Assuming the long-awaited Biafra did become a reality tomorrow (which I hope not), who would be the new rulers and despots and oppressors to take control in Aso Rock, Enugu? Is it not the same horrible people who have destroyed the individual Igbo states, like the governors of Imo and Abia states are currently engaged in doing? The Igbo man has the lowest social consciousness of any African tribe, no cohesiveness, sense of unity, quite frankly none of the desired qualities and attitudes of mind required for nation-building. Biafra would be a disaster, I think. We havent even governed ourselves in Imo State, Anambra Stae or Abia State, or Mbaise local government. How then can we govern ourselves in Biafra? I think Naija, bad and decaying as it is, is the lesser of two evisl. I would rather be oppressed by the Nigerian government than by the Biafran government, because mark my words, people, if there ever is a Biafra, then you will see what the Igbo man is capable of, it will surpass the havoc being wrought in Imo and Abia states at the moment, and we shall all wish for the tender mercies of being Nigerians again.

Kpachakpu anya unu o.
Mr. man, please stop this thing you are talking about! Why are you stopping the Ibos? Ibogs people hate everybody in Nigeria (fact) but its like you hating someone you can't do anything about it leads to ==> frustration. Please let them leave because every part of Nigeria can then require visas and strict monitoring for them to come close to the borders of Nigeria. We are all tired and sick of these trouble and beg that you allow them to leave!
you dey find trouble. you don't understand that yorobaas can't live without the igbos. Let all igbos leave Lagos for one year, come back to that state and you will mistake it for ogbomosho. They can't exist on their own and if you leave them with their Hausa masters, your guess is as good as mine
Can you all please fvucking leave and NEVER return?? Lagos existed for hundreds of years before Ibos migrated near Nigeria. The quality of life will immediately increase as soon as all the Ibo criminals, kidnappers, 419ers, drug barons, all leave and go back to their land locked, erosion plagued lands!

I think your generation is mad otherwise why would any fool question Awo's decision to not suport Ojuku? This is so pathetic! Foolish war lord declared a war but expects another country and people to go fight it for him? This in fact shows the immaturity of Ojuku who apparently used to a life of not working for anything because his father was reportedly rich and he thought he could just be using other people for everything including declaring a war he would eventually run away from??

ACM10: Fani-Kayode = Katsumoto

Can't u notice the pattern? See how he suddenly appeared from the blues.
Really? Katsumoto will boast of more credibly than you lying foul-mouthed tribalist in a 1000 years! Is it not you that was advocating on one thread that the south should unite against the north? In your stupidity you do not know that the other parts of Southern Nigeria will listen to a stupid expansionist tribalist like you? Do you think that we don't know that plan only suits your evil agenda: feign unity to defeat Nigeria's other bigger tribes, then become a cancer and leech to the SW, Mid Westerners, Middle Belters, Niger Deltans who would rather endure the northerners who are still faaaaaarrrrrrr humble than you lots! Remove religious extremism (which is at the heart of their problem due to years of propaganda), they are easily better than boatful, nagging arrogant neighbours called Ibos who they have to put up with until they unite again to put them to the sword!
Yeah right, is that why the same people Awo did his best for are now begging to leave Nigeria. So sure Awo will be turning over in his grave now.
Who is begging to leave Nigeria? Awo's name is still respected in and outside of Nigeria not only by his people but most objective people from different parts of Nigeria will still give a lot of credit to him. What he did while being a regional leader still speaks so powerfully and strongly that neither Ironsi, Zik, or your current Odechukwu Jonathan will ever come close.

texazzpete: I really have to question the sanity of anyone who takes Fani-kayode's words at face value.
Does that mean you m0r0ns believe his assertion that 'demonic forces' were responsible for the Bellview and SoSoliso crashes?
You don't understand how delusion works? If this same guy praises Obasanjo to high heavens, Ibos will shout whine, curse and say all kinds of nasty things because such praises does not fit into their personal world view or prejudices.

If the same Kayode turns around and says Ojukwu did the most stupid thing by going to a war he had neither vision, resources or people to prosecute, watch them descend upon him like vultures on a dead corpse!

But now, he makes an unsubstantiated illusion of a statement borne out of the fall out of his father with Awo, the Ibos will choose to neglect that crucial angle.

ACM10: IT'S OFFICIAL!

Igbos, Niger-Delta, Midwest and Yorubas are conquered territories! Anyone in the south that walks with his head high must be a fool. Anyone that thinks that it's only Igbos that are are considered a conquered territory must have his head examined. This is coming from the insider of the jihadists movement. Can't we lay down our differences and liberate ourselves from this bully?
Stop talking up a BIG game when you are the one who will betray the entire South in a heartbeat with your tribalism! No doubt, in a real war situation involving the northern hausa/fulani (and any collaborators) and an army of the southern parts of Nigeria, they will surely get crushed! Do I want millions of Nigerian people (10 M) or more to be killed? NEVER! But the divide and conquer methods have worked for so long because of people like you who use tribalism to drive a wedge between peoples you are now calling for them to unite under a single flag to fight a war!

ifihearam: Jarus: I may have issues with their leadership, but 2 things stand ACN out as a party in Nigeria today.

1, Ability to put forward good candidates for elective and appointive posts. (All Lagos commissioners are perofrming)

2, Very virile opposition and great propaganda machinery. I like the way they comment on every issue and propagandize it. Those Lai Mohammed and Joe Igbokwe in particular are doing excellent job for this party.in an era when social/political activism is dead with Gani, ACN is the only check to ruling party we have now

If only I can trust Tinubu with Nigeria's treasury, this party is very promising as an alternative we shold give a trial.

Another ode
And has he no rights to his opinion that you insult him even if he made no reference to you? I can't find anything wrong in that statement and even if it were wrong, it does not change the fact that he has a right to his opinion! Looking at map of Nigeria, the perpetual inferior weak-minded Ibo tribalists only want the land size of other people to become as small as that of the entire landlocked SE. I think the loss of your stupid war has left most of you in a state of stupor. Otherwise, why is it that only the SE tribalists are here championing a course that is of no remote relevance to their existence? Well, one day, you ingrates will require visas and strict monitoring to visit other parts of Nigeria. This is the only kind of hard stance you people understand!

So his father is Nigerian but he's not Nigerian? Okay, seems like Aminu is EMBARRASSED to call himself a NIgerian undecided
Well, how can you blame him? Doesn't Nigeria have ~170 M people and how many people do you need to form one basketball team? Are there not people who are 6 foot and much taller in Nigeria who could have been discovered and groomed if they wanted to be in that sports since when they were much younger? Well, if they had, Nigeria will be spoilt for choice on players who would take a break from their professional careers abroad to come and represent Nigeria because they will be so patriotic knowing and seeing how their discovery and early grooming is traceable directly to Nigeria. When a man reaps without sowing (co-opting a really unwilling player like Aminu), it deserves to be embarrassed by situations like this one. Now, the questions is what will Nigeria do about it? Are we gonna hit the ground running preparing for the Olympics in 2016 and beyond or wait till two months before to start renting, stealing, begging people to don the Nigerian colors?
