macjive01: why is Igboland not like dubai ? forgotten 20 pounds saga ? after the civil war every igbo with millions and billions in their bank accounts were robbed of their money and were given a humiliating 20 pounds - so when you look and see igbo investment just know it were all from that 20 pounds. But you are so off topic, open a different topic for these distractions. So you agree it is a convoluted world view held by a minority of self-centered ibos, albeit misguided and misdirected, that it is okay for Lt. Col. Banjo to lead an army against his own people and land in order to you own benefit and advantage but when another man protects his land and people like ojukwu it suddenly amounts to betrayal. This is what you should be addressing like a man - face the truth! |
tadysmart: So you have being screwing Igbo chics, next time I will place magu there becareful.LOL...you funny oo How man for do when them too loff me and the thing they sweet them! ![]() |
slimghost: Kai....Yoruba internet warlords i hail ooo!And what about this soldier man....he ran and left 3 M people slaughtered...what a brave-coward! LOL ![]()
^^^There are Igbos in Rivers and Delta states: take me for instance....i'm from Rivers state.
That doesn't say that SS states are ibos. Your father or mother married into those states, so what? You can claim to be anything but that does not change the fact that the state of several hundreds of thousand of people >>>>>> 1 (YOU). Deal with it! ![]() |
shut up. There is nothing like SS. There are igbos in Delta. where will you place them? Oshogbo? dirty Yoruba woman
You should shut your putrid mouth and empty head! They are in Delta which is in the SS. Must you always land grab, oyel grab, and seek to claim this people by force? If they were SE, they would not be in Delta. The way it is, is the way it is! Now deal with that! ![]() |
ACM10: Calm down bro. You debate with so much emotion. I'm disappointed by your outburst. What happened to your Mr. Cool persona? You failed to understand that the two can play the game. We can't sit idly while u distort history. Sorry if u are hurting. But we must do what is necessaryI don't think he is hurting at all, YOU and your tribalist ibos are. So you do what is necessary same way, Awo and Ojuku did what they thought was necessary. Kapish! |
Dede1: Each time I read stuffs from goofy individuals about Benjamin Adekunle’s bravery, I wonder aloud if the moronic person is referring to the same Adekunle who ran to Port Harcourt the moment his lead brigades were circled in Owerri and Oguta. If laud mouthing is act of bravery, Benjamin Adekunle was a great soldier.Dende fool, do you know that Adekunle's personal goat was call ojukwu? From what we know, he used the heads of loud mouths who ran their putrid mouths to wipe his black ass, mop the floor and then sacrificed them whether they moved or did not, it mattered not. ![]() |
Da infamous: Adekunle is now hungry,i took picture of him am telling you the truth, the man is dying of hunger and malnutrition,i shivered, when i saw him day blessed day' he was lying under a mango tree,i dashed him 1000 naira so that he can buy some local yorobe balance diet,i could not believe my eyes,i have his pixs...i will show it to you soon..Bull shit! Who dash your monkey banana! He mopped the floor and his ass with the heads of your ancestors you know...LOL |
Dede1: The issue is the misguided approach by Katsumoto who is bent on comparing a shooting war and child’s play embarked upon by listed individuals. Anybody who understands the history of Nigeria will agree that Ndigbo do not engage in public disturbance.LOL...asinine dende fool! So public disturbance is not planning a coup to a country's leaders while helping yours to escape? In the next Police Action, I see 10 M ibos going down in the preliminary round and I will personally be there to put you through the axe and grinding machine! ![]() |
LMAOOOOOOOOO. This thread is the most hilarious ever. Katsumoto is just a propaganda machine. Making stories up!
Really? Let's hear your own stories, not conjectures or fantasies that resulted in a war in which you were pummelled into the ground. Show us your strong evidences or shut up! ![]() |
Dede1:You have the IQ of a door knob otherwise, answer the question! If you can't, it only shows why you folks are permanent losers, insecure and cannot measure up in any contest that matters. That is why you in fact LOST the WAR! ![]() |
Bravery=Igbo. Cowardice= Yoruba
Why don't you rise-up to the challenge? C'mon, don't deflect the question, give an answer to a challenge to match that list with only 10 names. |

afam4eva: @KatsumotoAnd what are you to make such a USELESS statement? Did you see your low life fellow tribalist: Globe, Chino, Dende, Chyz...who have not provided ANY iota of proofs to back up their stupid claims made by someone who has no credibility? But Kats so destroyed all of you and you should be ashamed of yourself and the stupid ibo tribalists who seem to be condemned to this illusory, imaginary way of life. |
Da infamous: parasites can never be ready....Really, why NOT first leave every part of Nigeria you have migrated to back to Iboland. Leave the north, West, minority areas in Nigeria, then let's see who is the real parasite. Just responding to your shallow statement. |
macjive01: ASK YOURSELF, WHY DID BIAFRAN ARMY RISK THEIR LIVES MARCHING TO LAGOS, WHEN ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO WAS DEFEND THEIR TURF ?Yes, we are inching towards more details. Let's be honest you and some people in Nigerians don't like the ofemmanus up there but we really need to hear more from you how exactly it is okay Brigadier Banjo of the Biafan Forces to command and lead an entire army to his father land (from what I am hearing) but that is not betrayal. Or is it fair that the Biafr commander cut out from Biafr leading a renegade army killing other people? Why why why Ibos need to answer thus is question? You all cannot pretend to not see this zillion dollar question and hide your heads into the sand like the ostrich. Does it mean the ezechuruchuru and his band don't have even the human moral fibre to answer thus question?? |
ACM10: Oh Dede, you bothered to respond to Katsumoto's hogwash of an article? I'm past caring. He will simply overwhelm you with falsehoods, half-truths and exaggerations that u wont know where to start to issue rebuttals. The most annoying part of it is that casual observers cannot be able to differentiate "facts" from his "fiction". He is ever ready to overwhelm you with articles from from hack writers. Even when he cannot produce evidence of his wild assertions. He will continue to repeat it 1000 times. That's why I labelled it "goebbelian lies". The guy is simply a propagandist. I used to believe his sensational lies till I took to books. Seriously, I've lost respect for the guy.@ACM, I used that coinage on this site for the first time and there's no way YOU did that! Learn to not plagiarize ideas, and give due credit where it is due! |
dayokanu: Dendemoron,LMAO @ post ![]() |
Good to get your opinions, but we still need to get to the root of why it OKAY when Lt. Col Banjo led an entire army against his people (no shouts of BETRAYAL from our SE Nigerians) but when ANOTHER man who DID NOT MAKE any agreements with Ojukwu, then it is BETRAYAL?? Pitch in guys, this is the time to show your strength of true character! |
Focus, focus guys!! Stay on the topic! |
Any Igbo that falls for this thread will forever be an 1diot. Let me come back in few hours and I see one reply from any Igbo, an advice to that any Igbo, na only you go carry the headache of this tribalistic OP that have long been looking for attention by yourself. Shikena!!!
Let us here from people who have a real opinion and not your own herd mentality. |
But one of the core issues this question seeks to address is when Lt. Col. Banjo leads an army against his people and homeland, SE folks don't see anything wrong in such BETRAYAL of his own people. However, they rail unfairly against Chief Awolowo who NEVER made a pact with them at anytime. Is this not double standards and hypocrisy? I want my fellow Igbo brothers to address this topic confidently and honestly. |
You put up a thread like this and to fuel situations more you write "Ibo" instead of "Igbo" and expect no bashing? I can assure you, if I have the time, not only will I bash in this thread, I will also open up another thread about why Awolowo "misteriously" died after IBB gave him "particular conditions". Respect and receive respect, disrespect then receive fire.
Kindly stay on topic...and not distract with semantics. It is quite interchangeable but let's get some views on this topic. |
This is a real question and I want to get the perspective of NLanders. Every time, Ibo claims that they were betrayed when there's no proof of such but just Goebbelian propaganda they heard. However, when Yoruba soldier like Lt. Col. Victor Banjo, a competent soldier in all ramifications, decided to lead the so called Baifara expeditionary force, Ibo don't shout betrayal, WHY?? I love and respect every part of Nigeria and yes, I have been everywhere with my ibo chics but I just want to know! Please no bashing and let us learn together! As in... WHY?? FINALLY: The mostly ibos who have continued to spread lies and division in Nigeria have not been able to answer the question, squarely and frontally. In real life, it is cowardice if a man cannot look at a personal issue in his life and confront it, deal with it once and for all but keeps blaming his neighbour that his own shadow follows him everywhere. How can a man stop his shadow (past deeds) from odiously following him everywhere except by stopping, addressing it, dealing with it and moving on completely. Until the ibos do this, stop blaming others (ibo: i blame others), and accept responsibility for their own actions, which was within their own power to control, the cycle of blame-gaming, victim mentality will not stop. In a nutshell, in their world: it is OKAY for a man (WHO HAS NO PRIOR AGREEMENT WITH THEM) to act against his own interest but in their own interest ONLY but when he looks out for his own interest or his people's interest, it is a BETRAYAL. When Lt. Col. Banjo (of course in agreement with ojukwu) fought against his country and homeland, he was not a betrayer, but when he appeared not to have done what the (ibo: i before others) want immediately, he is a betrayer and he was immediately executed. Even the scriptures say, whoever shall be the most exalted, shall humble himself the most (Paraphrased). On that note, thanks to everyone and I can only hope we all re-visit history in truth. Cheers! UPDATE 2: Welcome to the conversation, master historians, great Nigerians and articulate Nairalanders! My pleasure and certainly that of a lot of others to have you weigh-in on this topic. Without doubt, I know a few master class historians of Nigerian history on this site but I would like us not only to have a discussion about history but analysis, with a philosophical tint. In a nutshell, when Lt. Col Banjo led the biafran army against Nigeria and his Yoruba homeland, in agreement with ojukwu, we don't hear Ibos shout BETRAYAL, but when Chief Awolowo who had NO AGREEMENT with the same ojukwu, protected his people and did what was right, ibos shout betrayal. I implore the discerning and astute Nigerian to put this issue through their human x-ray system and tell us WHY? |
remark D: So the Biafran troops requested passage en route to Lagos... this has not been dis proved so far ... so why still call the mission of heading to Lagos as an "invasion" of the south-west?I think your folly just beat even your leader(s) who lost the war on a MASSIVE scale completely. At least, YOU ADMITTED that you LOST the WAR! ![]() Now, if your brain cells are so weak to not realize that asking permission (yes you came crawling on your belly to see if you could one-up the smart guys of the regions) and you were TOLD, NO! You will NEVER be allowed passage across another man's land or don't you know the curse of the 401 gods from the 4 winds of the earth will follow whatever useless biafarain soldier that tries it? So, you want the GOC in charge to partake of the raging whirlwind of curses that smites the coconut tree helter-skelter?? Even all the devils in your okija forest will not be able to step-up forever! LOL! So when you were told NO, the proverbial dog that the dogs want to kill, they make him lose the sound of the hunter's whistle! Funny thing is even Banjo knew he could not try it! Did you know the people in the lands of the so called Yorubas have been waring since the 1400's, before ibos migrated to where they are and discovered themselves? So, Banjo could not even try it and he would rather die from the wicked hands of Okjuku than face the wrath of the gods! ![]() |
All this back and forth, but i'm yet to see anything by Awos sympathizers that explains why he didn't use the opportunity of a lifetime presented by the civil war to extricate his people from this "mere geographical expression" called Nigeria......a country that his e-warriors on this thread would have us believe Azikiwe arm-twisted him and his people into joining. You see blind hatred and pettiness can make one do stuff (in the name of trying to hurt the person he hates so much) that in the long run exposes just how wicked and vindictive he is (even to the point of neglecting his own peoples bigger interests) in trying to hurt his perceived enemy; imagine spurring the Hausa/Fulani on by saying that if Biafra is allowed to secede that Yorubas would too Awo was a vindictive man driven by hate and primordial ethnic considerations, and he sure didn't let the little issues of sanctity of human life and moral scrupples stand in his way when trying to attain his goals.......a man given a window of opportunity to rid his people of the 'curse' of being tied to Nigeria, but instead chose to side with evil to fight a people whose beef wasn't with him. I don't know if he changed after the war and regreted his actions, but i do know that -for the period he joined forces with evil- the spirit of Lucifer rose from the dark recesses of Hades and dwelt within him......indeed we can say with all certainty that we know of a time when the dark Angel (the viper of Eden) dwelt among men. May God have mercy on his soul.
Shifting the goal post again to "...Awo extricate his people...."! Stop this nonsense bullshit, what is your damn business about what he did or did not do for his people? Young infantile 34 year old took a stupid decision that had a consequence of a minimum of 3 M lives lost, yet you are here talking about the other side? Hypocritical people! Even, talking about choices not to stay in Nigeria, didn't your ibo leaders have a grand opportunity to not be in Nigeria when they had a chance to have an independent country and also insert a secession clause in the constitution? No, they did not and chose to be slaves of the Caliphate and Balewa because at least they could get the crumbs from their table. They thought they would invariably corner every resource of every part of the country until their dreams fell apart! LOL... ![]() |
Dede1: @OPSo you will also shoot ojuku your god or did he not also contest under apga?? Delusional dede1 Or maybe you are more biafraish than him ![]() |
achi4u: Yes GEJ is not an igboman,if atall he's igbo... we consider such person as an outcast cos he failed to hear our many cries.Laff wan wound me @ this post! It will deliver what it has been delivering: bombs, bombs and boom, booom, boom everywhere!! ![]() |
Da infamous: no matter dt we were sold to our enemies by our people bt Igbo Man Fought d most dreaded war on earth .foreign nations will neva forget Igbo dexterity nd perseverance during d war. FANI Kayode nd d Aboki frm d north shld knw dt d Technologies invented by Igbo scientists nd used in d war has neva been equalled in d entire Africa. Since u ppl ar now boasting, lets try it again. URANIUM Z USED TO MANUFACTURE warheads nd softwares for armament. I will nt mention d location cos an experiment z going on -on d deposit site. B warned this time is going to wiped out...Comedians! You "fought the most dreaded war on earth"?? You've been either listening to only Goebbelian (you know who he was?) village propaganda or downright dishonest scumbag! Did you even rad about the brutality of the war in Congo? Were you people being just hacked to pieces like nama like it happened in Rwanda? Now, if that was what you experienced maybe we can begin to reach somewhere! Talk less of WW II? Ibogs are truly delusional and this is the anger that will cause a complete genocide in the next war. When the hausa killed ibogs, they only knew the immediate reasons for such brutal killings for there was no internet then. Today, the ijaws, ibibios, efiks, deltans, anangs, idomas, tivs, ikweres, etc who are even closer to you have evidence of your boastful arrogant empty pride! They know that if you could have your fantasy, you would not be boasting about it but be trying to actualize it by taking over their ancestral lands and people. Guess what they would do to you in the next war? They know that whatever remains after a war on which they take sides with you will lead to Hitler-like lebensraum! Watch out ibogs, those southern minorities are way smarter than you and will leave you no chance! An hausa man will never need to ask you for land, neither yorubas, just look at the size of their lands! Plus, they are content and hardworking with what they have but ibosg think they can cunningly take their lands and resources! Imagine what will happen when your small landlocked land is attacked and forked from all sides?? Your homeland will be cut off and even your people out of ibolands cannot return, which road are they going to take? LMAOO ![]() |
